sana-chan in wonderland episode 20: the sorrows of inukasumi

the moonless night had drifted away as the sun rose. but unlike most of the time, inuyasha was not relieved. he had just found out that his sister was also part of naraku because her mother had become one of the many demons inside him.

"its okay," inuyasha tried to console his sister, "i dont think any less of you, youre still my sister."
"but it cant be true," she said quietly, her voice muffled by her brothers cloak, "i am part of naraku; the demon that caused all of this to happen!"
"but without naraku, inuyasha would have become full human," inkenyo 2.0 said, "not that thats bad, but he wouldev married kikyo, and kagome never would have came here. neither would we. and you never would have met your brother! sure, miroku never would have his wind tunnel, but then how else would he get girls being a monk? and sango would be happy with her brother, but... you just cant change what happened! you have to either live with the pain it caused, or change it! thats what were doing!"
"yeah," sabrina added, "we all have a reason to destroy naraku. mabey you can join us."
"but... naraku is... kind of... your mother." i said quietly.
inukasumi turned away from all of us for a moment. then she turned around and said "i too have a reason to kill naraku. he consumed my mother. but my mother was power hungry enough to give in willingly."
"only to protect you!" myoga sniffled.
"no!" inukasumi screamed, "she wanted to gain power! even if it was to protect me, she had plenty! she beat inuyasha and my father easily, thats how powerful she was! i dont care if she was my mother; im going to kill her along with naraku! her power added to his made it possible to destroy the happiness of everyone here! im... im going now, and dont any of you dare stop me!"
"but inukasumi," miroku told her sensibly, "we have been together for so long and not maneged to kill him. what makes you think you can do it on your own?"
"because i am more powerful than you," she answered, "i am only 1/3rd human, but my mother and father used to be the most powerful demons alive!"
"dont get too cocky, inuka--"
"who are you to tell her about cockiness?" kagome cut inuyasha off.
"well, let us come with you!" sango offered.
"no. you will only slow me down."
i started laughing.
"whats so funny?!" inukasumi snapped.
"its so funny..." i tried stifling my laughter, "you are just like inuyasha! so sure of yourself, not admitting you need help, not looking before you leap! but you have the option not to be as stupid as him. take us with you."
"but... you might be in danger..."
"oh, no!" sabrina said cheerfully, "we all have a power of some sort. you know how strong inuyasha is, miroku has his wind tunnel, kagome is the reincarnation of kikyo so she is really powerful, shippo is help sometimes, sana has psycokenetic powers, inkenyo 2.0 has a memory curse in her hands that comes in... handy..."
inkenyo 2.0 glared at her along with shippo.
"ahaheheh... and i have wishing powers. sango and kirara as you know are proffesional demon slayers."
"so we can help you 100 percent!" shippo cried, "we have just as much reason as you to kill naraku, but mabey with your help we can actually do it!"
"so whaddaya say?" i asked smiling.
inukasumi looked at all of us. then inuyasha, who gave her a reassuring wink.
"count me in!" she grinned.
