 I never USED to think the shower was a sacred place...
now i think i've changed my mind... we went to art in the park today, i didn't really sell much, but my parents sold a lot of books, so i'd say up till the end it was a good day. then, as soon as the thing was ending, it started positively POURING. and i do mean POURING. yeah well we were stranded under our tenty thing for a while, and then finally it slacked off enough to take down the... tenty thing we were standing under. well next thing you know, we try to pull out and the car gets stuck. we try the truck, the truck gets stuck too. then we finally call some friends to come get us and take us home, (with the exception of dad, who was staying to deal with the towing people who are positively overpriced and we won't put up with that now will we?) and so here i am, no longer muddy and wet and cold and the shower is now a sacred place in my mind, because it works miracles. thank you for reading. if you got this far....

 i'm back, back, back, back, back!!
i ha-a-a-ate my computer!! it's sooooooooooooo awful!! eeegh... i couldn't get ON yesterday. well, it's probably for the better. because i've been painting fish for "art in the park"
...no... i know what you're thinking. WOODEN fish. i paint them with themes and my own designs. i did a mermaid too. she turned out well! she's sort of life-sized to a younger kid, she looks a little asian, and she's got *lol* long black hair with purple highlights! now i'm doing fish. i've got some old stuff i did before, and i just finished painting a fish with a design on one side, the celtic (my heritage, partly) "claddaugh" or affection (the symbol is two hands holding a crowned heart) and the other side has a cat and a bird together, the celtic version of "the wolf shall also dwell with the sheep". i'm currently doing a fish with night/day on one side, and two different mermaids on the other. but the mermaid is the best, and i'm going to show a pic. or at least a partial pic, i couldn't fit all of her tail in.
meh. the pic is a bit fuzzy. oh well.

lalalalalala summer sun has gotten to me... i think it messed with my head.... i was sitting out in the sun making sure the turtle wouldn't get away. and that silly little creature just sat there and stared at the grass. i think the sun was getting to him too.
but then i put him back in his tank and he woke up. there's gratitude for you. Trouble, i sat there in the sun making sure you didn't run away and die in the salt water and you didn't even DO anything! oh well. he can't help being a turtle, after all...
