Have you ever noticed how a grocery store is like a toy store when you're hungry?
And I've been hungry for the past... *looks at calendar* two weeks. And you know what that means...
GROWTH SPURT!
Heh, I shall be short no more! *Cackles*
Well, after 15 meaningless years of my life, I have finally discovered the true meaning of peace. The Creative Writers were arguing as usual, and all I did was go into a corner and sing 'Edelweiss' in a fake accent. And they all stop bickering to laugh at me! SUCCESS! I AM GHANDI! Well, not quite...
Great, stalker boy just IMed me. Time for damage control, be back later...

You must remember this, a kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh...
"You must remember this, a kiss is still a kiss". Your romance is Casablanca. A classic story of love in trying times, chock full of both cynicism and hope. You obviously believe in true love, but you're also constantly aware of practicality and societal expectations. That's not always fun, but at least it's realistic. Try not to let the Nazis get you down too much.
What Romance Movie Best Represents Your Love Life? brought to you by Quizilla
Fiiiigures. I'm gonna have the tragic love story, huh?
Well, it's a day off for Veteran's Day, one of the most depressing days of the year. Take some time to go to SomeGuy's page and hear what he has to say about it; it's must more interesting then anything I can say.
Well, I have to go finish my math homework so I can do some birthday shopping for my friend. She wants a manga, what should I get her? (She has most of Miyu, Gravitation, Petshop of Horrors, and a lot of others I can't remember)
EDIT: I am now done my homework. *Exhales* Sooooo, what are everyone's plans for today? Going anywhere? Staying at home?
By the way, how do I get mp3's to play on my page? Does anyone know?
DOUBLE EDIT: Wouldja look at that? I figured it out with some help from Simplicity! I owe you for life, LazeChibi!

Sorry I don't have anything to say...
This weekend was OK. I had fun talking to Tigress and Shanny this morning, and I talked to Aurus last night. I didn't update my fic or do my homework... well, I did some...
I think, since I have nothing to say, I'll just amuse everyone with animations!

P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney... I remembered!
Sorry I didn't post for the last 2 days, guys. It's just that the last 2 days have been unspeakably uneventful (I was on the phone 24/7 listening to my friends' crisises, or in my language, breakups. I'm so happy I'm single!). I have been commenting on your sites, see?
Anyway, I've been sitting around, watching Finding Nemo (hence the subject), and doing homework for the past few days. Exciting, huh?
It's already that time of year! The time where my mother won't let me go shopping for myself anymore. It must be Christmas shopping season! LOL. But I have finally decided what I want for Christmas! I want a guitar! Not an electric one, an acoustic one. So what if I don't know how to play? I can teach myself! Or at least get someone who does know how to teach me...
But still, Thanksgiving is first. What a great holiday, I get to sit around all day and eat my Dad's hummus! *Everyone stares* What? Some people do cranberry sauce, we do hummus!
I might see the Matrix today! WHEEEE!
Now I have to go make my shopping list. Good thing I have a job to pay for all this...
Question: Do you friends/family expect you to get them something for Christmas/Hannukah? If so, how expensive are their tastes?
(Answer to my own question: Yes, and very expensive)

God, I love my TV/Film Class...
If you ever get tired of sophisticated movie buffs, come to my class, where stupidity and simplicity reign.
TV/Film is a required class for sophomore writers and freshman theater majors. Now the theater major have always been a bit off, but these kids truly have something wrong with them. Almost every one of them speaks in non-stop ebonics.
OK, so we're in the middle of our Hitchcock unit, and we're watching Rear Window. In the middle of a really suspenseful part, when the whole class was silent, suddenly this kid jumps up and yells:
"Run, bitch! He comin' back and he gonna kiiiiiiiiiiiiill you!"
All I have to say is: Huh?
And of course, the sophomores in the class are mostly pompous idiots. So you go from saying that Grace Kelly is 'elegant' to, 'yeah, she real tight.' And then there's a big arguement, you know the drill.
If they have a turf war, I wonder if they'll let me choreograph it like West Side Story! Probably not. Dream-breakers...
Well, I've already made this post waaaaaay too long. You're all probably dying of boredom. Night!
Question: What's the funniest experience you've had in a horror/mystery movie?

*Screams wildly*
Hell yeah! HAAAAIIIIIIIL YEAH! *Dances*
I struck a blow against all snobby creative writers for THAT tonight kids! Thank you for all your well-wishes and confusion! (By the way, a Coffee Reading is a quarterly reading for creative writers to perform their work, and serve coffee at intermission. Thus, the name, Coffe Reading.)
But I was thinking of you guys the whole time ^__^.
FINDING NEMO CAME OUT! YAY! That is my favorite movie, and I bought it! HAPPINESS! JOY! RAPTURE! And the Matrix comes out tommorow! Who's going to see it? Not me, because I have school, but that's OK! I'll see it this weekend!
Welcome back Tigress! I missed you! And I'm glad you didn't drown in homework SomeGuy dear.
OK, time for more jumping up and down. And twirling, don't forget twirling. I hope you all had a great, great, great day!
*Grins*

Why I Hate Mondays
WARNING: The following is a personal rant. Not too personal actually, just a rant. Some people don't like putting up with it, and if you are one of those people, I won't hold it against ya ^__^
*Sigh* Mondays always suck. Not just because they're Mondays either.
You know a day that starts with you accidentally cutting your foot open on your Venus razor (I knew I hated that thing) can't be good. And good it wasn't.
Besides the razor thing (which didn't hurt as much as it bled, at least until later) I had Creative Writing class, which I'm starting to hate. I can't even read in that class anymore because people just critisize your work to pieces and don't have the balls to back it up. They just say things like, "Why did you even write that?" or "Wow, they must have felt really bad for you to let you in." Or else they'll parrot the teacher and say I need to make the poem more universal. A universal poem is watered down and has no real emotion in it.
And by some burst of insanity, I still signed up for the Coffee Reading, which is a quarterly performance of the creative writers where you read your work. I'm gonna read the poem I posted on here a few weeks ago. But now I'm really nervous that *Worst Case Scenario Here* the seniors are all going to laugh and throw rotting cabbages.
Plus I have so much homework tonight. *Gag* And THAT is missing two great members. Tigress and Molletta, you are missed here!
End personal rant. Thanks for your time.
But on the bright side, TV/Film class tommorow! We're in the middle of our Hitchcock unit, yay! We've already watched 'The Birds' and 'Psycho', which were both pretty good, and we're now watching 'Rear Window', which is great. But the freshmen won't stop complaining that its boring and its dragging. Harumph.
Question of The Day: Do you have an ability that you were once confident in that now feel you can't do anymore?

YES!
200 visits! YAAAAAAAAAY! *Dances* Thank you everyone who comes on this site on a regular basis! I love you all! *Hugs everybody* And if you don't like hugs... *shakes everybody's hands* And if you just don't like being touched in general... *gives everyone pocky*
My Halloween went rather well. Some rich seven year olds laughed at my costume, I got two Jolly Rancher lollipops, and rented many horror movies to laugh at. Has anyone ever noticed that the deaths in Final Destination are not only elaborate and overdone, they're really, really funny? Eh, maybe I'm just too cynical when it comes to movies.
Speaking of cynicism, I'm somewhere in the middle of 28 Days Later right now, and it actually gave minor chills at the beginning. But it hasn't been scary for about half and hour now. Damn.
Thanks again, everyone!
