Here I am, finally!
Ernesto is completely topping us over here... wind, rain, the works. I blame the internet.
Anyways, I think I'm finally getting settled around here. Classes are great, I've finally found people to hang out with (and have kickass movie nights with; gotta love watching Newsies with a bunch of slashers), and if I just want to have some nice, quiet decompression time in my room, the roomie doesn't mind. Actually, she's probably doing that herself. Walks around the campus are absolutely lovely, and I just came back from getting some groceries. If you call Pop Tarts, microwavable pasta alfredo, and chips and queso groceries. But I do, so nyah.
Activities fair was today! All of the school's clubs had representatives there. Well, almost all of them. It was in the Levin ballroom in Usdan(how did I miss a ballroom? I've been to Usdan tons of times.) Anyways, there are a few things I'm interested in: Akiko's friend Jen offered me a job in the entertainment section of the school newspaper, for one, which I think would be fun. And I also scheduled some auditions.

I'm out of my mind. XD What I really want is The Laramie Project, but I won't get my hopes up. I'll work hard, but what happens, happens. Besides, I love auditioning. It's such an adrenaline kick, and I don't really get nervous about it.
And speaking of which, I find out if I got into the writing workshop on Wednesday. Now that's what I'm really nervous about oh God. I admit that I need to get used to rejection and build a thicker skin if I plan on going into the publishing world. But ohmygod I really want this. XD
