Exams Are Done! YAY! ^_^
BlAiZeD still has me in a poll for site layout. If you haven't voted for anyone yet, go ahead and vote for me. Remember, democracy only works if you vote.
Exams are done. Japanese was my last exam, and I think I did ok in it. I have three class grades out of five already, and those are As in Karate, Physical Science, and English. Just waiting for Japanese and Sociology grades now.
Also, my roommate left for home, so I have the room to myself for two days. Two days to enjoy this wonderful high-speed connection before I go home and must resort to AOHell.
I ordered some Eva figures today, costing a total of just less than $24. I got them from Gensen Figures, which is a freaken awesome site for figures. Go check it out. That's all from me. Have fun commenting and check out the following quiz:
Outcast Genius 52 % Nerd, 60% Geek, 69% Dork | For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in all three, earning you the title of: Outcast Genius.
Outcast geniuses usually are bright enough to understand what society wants of them, and they just don't care! They are highly intelligent and passionate about the things they know are *truly* important in the world. Typically, this does not include sports, cars or make-up, but it can on occassion (and if it does then they know more than all of their friends combined in that subject).
Outcast geniuses can be very lonely, due to their being outcast from most normal groups and too smart for the room among many other types of dorks and geeks, but they can also be the types to eventually rule the world, ala Bill Gates, the prototypical Outcast Genius.
Congratulations!
Also, you might want to check out some of my other tests if you're interested in any of the following:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Professional Wrestling
Love & Sexuality
America/Politics
Thanks Again! -- THE NERD? GEEK? OR DORK? TEST | |
My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 56% on nerdiness | | You scored higher than 89% on geekosity | | You scored higher than 98% on dork points |

Breakfast? The Sun Isn't Up Yet
One exam is done. Physical science is over. I studied for less than an hour before the exam, and I think I did ok. Afterwards, I sold the book for $53. It's about half of what I paid for it, but it's still money.
Had fun with eating with friends at lunch, dinner, and breakfast. The school was giving a free breakfast from 10pm to 1am. Still going on now in fact. I went at 10 and ate with some friends. I left because everyone in our little group was leaving and I had to study for my Japanese exam at 7:30am. Still not studying yet. Maybe around 12:30 or 1 (it's just after 12 now).
BlAiZeD has me in a poll for site layout. If she has already put up the new post for today, then people who have voted can go re-vote. Go see her last post and vote for me please ^_^ Voting is fun. |

Voting is Fun
BlAiZeD has me in a poll for site layout. Go see her last post and vote for me please ^_^
Not much since my late night. From the time I got up at 2 until dinner at 5:30, I stayed in the dorm. I went to dinner with a bunch of friends as usual. That was nice. I got my DS back that I let someone borrow.
Then, a group of us went to the library for our little manga reading group. The guy who usually brings the manga he got from Tokyopop and Viz gave some of it out, and I got DearS vol 1-4, That was cool. Just got to make space on the shelf. After that, we headed over to the Cyber Cafe on campus and hung out. I returned to my dorm around 11pm. I have an exam tomorrow, so I'll study some. Plus, I want some sleep tonight. |

Someone Turn Off The Sun Already. It's Too Early For It.
Had a really late night last night, as in I didn't get to bed until around 7-8am this morning. I worked a desk for one of the dorms from midnight to 2am, hung out with friends who played Resident Evil 4 in the lobby until 6am, went to IHOP for a steak breakfast, and came back here to sleep. Fun night. |

Friday's Over
Friday of the second-to-last weel of the fall semester if now over. Next week is the last week before winter break. I'm not sure if I'm looking foward to it. It will be nice to see family and old friends, but I have to work full time with my dad like I did during the summer. Not going to be fun in this coldness. Oh well. It pays.
On this Friday, I went to get the loan. Tuition is paid for. I need to send them some bank info before they send the rest to my account for meal plan and books. I don't like the idea of a loan, having to pay it all back and so forth, but I do want to eat next semester, and it may help me establish some good credit. Some risky waters I am in, but I think I should be able to swim well enough.
I hung out with friends at lunch. They played a card game I didn't know how to play, but since I've forgotten how to play Uno and Pokemon, pretty much the only card game I remember how to play is Solitare, which is actually kinda sad.
Went to the library with some of them, and then to Books-A-Million. I read some of RuroKen 21, which is good. Upon returning to my dorm, I got online for a bit and got bored. Then napped.
I slept from about 8 to 10:30, got online, talked to a couple of people, worked on an image, listened to a TWiT podcast, and here I am, just after midnight. Dispite the freezing temperatures, I kinda want to take a walk outside, but I'm sure either my exiting, my re-entering, or both would wake my roommate, so I probably won't.
I'll probably end the night, wandering the web, getting bored, and calling it a night. Kinda boring, but oh well. My cough seems to be slipping away bit by bit, so yay. Right now, I'm listening to a podcast of an interview of Tycho and Gabe from Penny Arcade. Pretty cool. |

Sleeping In
What a Wednesday! Japanese went well with me finishing up the oral presentation. English was good since I got to turn in my paper and never have to go to it again. Karate wasn't hard on the written test, and I'm done with that class too. My scholarship service work went easily enough. Now, aside from some more service work on Friday, I have nothing until next Wednesday when I have my Japanese exam.
Anime club was tonight. We voted on having a council run the club, and I am one of the seven on that council. That's cool. The meeting was good too. We showed Hell Girl, Blood+, Suzuka, Paradice Kiss, Grenadier, and the web cartoon Dr Tran. Good showing for the last meeting of this semester. Then, hanging out at Cyber Cafe as usual. Fun as always.I went with some friends over to this one dorm to watch Spinal Tap. Then, to another dorm to play Resident Evil 4 on both PS2 and GC. I also played Mario Kart DS. Fun DS game.
I left around 2am, showered, and then a fire alarm went off. Annoying how people set off alarms for no good reason. Wandered around the web, and I'm now posting here. Fun. Well, tomorrow, I'm sleeping in since there's no class. That shall be nice. Hopefully it'll get rid of my cough. Well, talk to you all later. Have fun commenting. |

Monday+Tuesday
Well, things have been going better since Sunday. Monday was fine. Did all my school work and such. Still was kinda sick. Hung out plenty though. I got to read Trigun Maximum 7 and DearS 1. Both good. Hung out with friends, and then went to sleep around 2 something.
Tuesday was a bit better. I slept until around 10. I had a shower, nice and hot this time too. Lunch was ok. Had a test in Sociology. I think I did ok. Physical Science ended fairly quickly, and I sold some books back. Hung out with friends some more, playing Mario Kart DS and Sonic Rush on the DS. Fun games. Game back here to do a paper, which I am obviously procrastinating on.
Tomorrow is a lot of classes, but it's also the anime club. I hope I'll be better by then. Talk to you all later. Have fun commenting.
EDIT: http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/x3/
Not bad. My worries about Singer not directing this one may be put to rest, but there's still a long ways to go until May. |

Prepare to Read
Saturday: Great. All Day Anime Day. I saw an anime called Mushishi, and I saw some Tsubasa. I played Guitar Hero, which is a freaken awesome game. I ate Chinese food. Great meeting. Afterwards, I went with friends to see the Harry Potter movie on IMAX. Good, but what got me excited was the Superman trailer on IMAX. Now, that was a sight to behold. Had some IHOP, then came back to sleep.
Sunday: awful. Dad called. Probably can't help with tuition or meal plan. Might have to get a loan, which is probably too late to get one for next semester. Tuition isn't a big problem. My meal plan, however, is, and so are those pesky meals that I have to eat to survive and all that. Plus, my printer is screwing up, and there was no hot water in the shower, and even just a mildly cool shower can ruin a day. Oh, and my freaken cough still won't go away.
Good and bad all in one weekend. Such is my life. Have fun commenting. |

Christmas Party
Will go to bed soon, but must post about this Friday night.
It was the anime club Christmas party. It was better than the Halloween party in the sense that this was actually a party. Not many activities though. Could have used some party games. However, people actually dance, which amazed me. Well, as for secret santa, I got Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube. I always wanted to play but never did, so now I can, so it's a good gift. Plus, there were good snacks, like Krystal's homemade onigiri. Those were great. Good work Krystal *thumbs up*. Party started at 6pm, and I left with a bunch of people at 9ish.
A lot of us went downtown to go to Cafe Coco (I think that's the name). I was disappointed in the hot chocolate, which probably had too much milk, but the french fries were freaken amazing. We hung out until around 12:30, had a group photo taken, and then back to the boro and the mtsu campus. I decided to return here, post some, and go to sleep in a moment. Tomorrow's the All Day Anime, so I have to be up for that. Talk to you all later. Have fun commenting. |

No Vomit? I'm Happy
I seem to be feeling somewhat better, aside from still having a cough. No vomiting today, so yay.
Normally, I go to my physical science lab on Thursday mornings, but he drops the first day you miss, and I hadn't missed any, and it was the last one, so I got up this morning for a short bit and went back to sleep. I then got up around 10:30, which was nice. Showered, ate lunch, and went to class where I turned in the paper I worked on until 3am. Sociology went well, and so did Physical Science. Class ended early, so I was happy.
After class, I picked up some checks from working at the wood/felder desk. A little more than $40, so yay. Ate dinner at the jub. Went to Hickory Hallow Mall with a bunch of friends where I got the secret santa present, as well as a Saito figure from Rurouni Kenshin for me. Flipped through Trigun Maximum 7 too. Looks good. Can't wait to get it. Came back, hung out at Cyber, and now I'm here, procrastinating my Japanese studying for my test tomorrow. Ah tomorrow. Class, scholarship service work, and then waiting for the anime club Christmas party. Fun. That's all for now. Have fun commenting. |
