Why am I not doing my paper?

Wednesday has been pretty good, except for a couple of specific parts later on. Class went well. I learned in Karate class that I'm exempt from the skills test. I would rather be exempt from the written test, but on well. One less test is all that matters. Then, boring scholarship service work, dinner, and off to the anime club. Club started on a sad note. The president's sister died a couple of weeks ago, which is why he wasn't there for the meeting that week (last week was Thanksgiving break, so no meeting). I hope he and his family will be ok. Well, then he appointed someone else to be the next president, which was definately disagreeable since he completely bypassed the election he said we would have, but with all that was going on with him, I didn't want to bring up another problem. We watched some AMVs, Blood+, Mai Hime, Trinity Blood, My Wife is a Highschool Student, and Ebichu. Ebichu is a very...well, if you're offended by sex or hamsters, don't watch it. You can google it for more info. I started to have a really bad coughing fit at the end of My Wife is a Highschool Student, so I had to run to the bathroom, where I coughed so hard that I actually threw up. Haven't done that in a while. Not really fun, but I started to feel a bit better afterwards. After the club, we hung out at Cyber Cafe, talked about a bunch of stuff, and I left around 11:30. It's been an hour, and one of these days, I'll start my essay that's due tomorrow. Then, Friday, it's the anime club Christmas party. Fun, and an All Day Anime day Saturday. Good weekend. Where's the Water?

Tuesday was mostly good. I got to sleep until 10am, which was quite nice. However, when I went to take a shower, no water came out of the shower faucet. We had no water in the bathrooms. This was some inconvience. I wanted my shower. They could have at least warned us in the dorms with a flyer or something posted the day before like they do in some dorms, but no. The lack of notification is what upset me the most. Anyway, lunch was good. Class went well. I didn't study as much as I would have liked for my physical science test, but I think I at least made a B. Afterwards, back to the dorm for some online time and music listening until dinner. Ate with a bunch of friends, as usual. Went off to a friend's room with a few more friends. Got to play more Sonic Rush. Still a great game. Fairly hard too. Also played some Halo 2, and I didn't do quite as bad as normal, but I still did really bad. Left around 11pm to come back to the dorm, where there was water awaiting so I could finally shower. Did that, and now I'm posting. Need to do some online research for a presentation, so I guess I'll get to that now, but I doubt I will right away. Hard to actually work online when it's so easy to procrastinate instead. Not much else to talk about. I guess that's all. Everyone have fun commenting.

   Mr Miyagi, NOOOOOO!!!

Pat Morita, aka Mr Miyagi from the Karate Kid movies, died Friday. He lived from June 28, 1932 to November 25, 2005. This has saddened me. Plus, I have an annoying cough. I'm sick and Mr Miyagi is dead. I thought this was going to be a good day after I finished all my homework last night, but nope, that couldn't happen. Stupid Mondays. Other than all that, it's been an ok day. My classes went well. Hung out with friends for a while. A bunch of us went to EB Games and then to Books-A-Million. I donated some money to a friend for him to buy a replacement copy of Soul Caliber III that he lost in Memphis. When we returned, the group went to his room and played that. I also played some Sonic Rush on the DS that a friend got. Now that is a great Sonic game. No crappy emerald shard search missions either. It's old school Sonic game play with some good additions. Mostly 2-d gameplay with 3-d graphics, but some of the bosses are in 3-d gameplay too. It isn't an easy game compared to some other Sonic games, but it's still a blast. I should study a bit, but I'll probably wait. Everyone have fun commenting.

I'm Full of Stuffing, and I Have Homework

I'm back. Uneventful Thanksgiving for the most part. I had a couple of Thanksgiving dinners. Saw some family. My dad gave me some cash, so yay. However, I didn't get to buy the secret santa gift for the anime club Christmas party, nor did I go to see about getting my Shuffle fixed, so I was kinda disappointed. All in all, not much special about this Thanksgiving. This week will suck. I have a paper and many pages of a workbook due tomorrow, a test for Tuesday, prep work for Wednesday, another paper Thursday, and a paper and a presentation Friday, not even mentioning the Japanese test I have either Wednesday or Friday. Sound fun, eh? This is all going to be a headache. I didn't even talk about me seeming to get sick. I've been coughing a lot today, and my sinuses have been kinda screwed up this weekend. I hope I'll be better for the anime club Christmas party this Friday. This Christmas party Friday night and All Day Anime Day on Saturday should cheer me up. Hope I make it till then.    Turkey and Cranberries!!!

In about three to five hours, I'll be heading home for Thanksgiving weekend, where I shall be without internet access. I probably won't be back until Saturday or Sunday. Sunday, I'll be swamped with homework (I could do some now, but what's the point of procrastinating if I did that?). I'll be finishing up Phoenix Wright on my DS (finally) and watching the latest episode of Bleach, if I don't watch it before then. Not to mention leaving my parents with my longest Christmas list in years ^_^. I'll miss my internet though. Oh well. I shall see you all later. Have fun commenting and have a happy Thansgiving.

Now That's Out of the Way

Currently Reading Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden (Fushigi Yugi) By Yuu Watase see related Well, registration is over for me, for the most part. I have Elemtentary Japanese 2, Understanding Mass Media, US History 1, Experiences of Literature, and Themes of Literature and Culture. If I find another class that I want and is open, I'll probably drom Themes of Lit to take it. The sad thing is that I have early classes all week, with US History at 8 on Mon/Wed/Fri and Experiences of Lit at 9:40 on Tues/Thurs. At least I have some nap time in there, especially on Friday with my only one class that day. Registering was a pain too. I missed out on lunch. Oh well. The rest of the night was normal. I hung out with friends from dinner until just getting back. I read some more manga today, like Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden vol 2 and some other stuff that I don't remember the names to all that well. Most of the time, I was just hanging out with everyone, just about one more day to do so before I leave for Thanksgiving break on Wednesday. I'm going to love being home, but I'll need to work on my Christmas list for my parents. This is going to be fun. That's pretty much it for now. Have a nice day and have fun commenting.

Break Time

Just got done with a short English paper, only two pages. Just some minor stuff, and I'm done for the night. Today wasn't too eventful. I did get all caught up in the Bleach anime and manga, so I guess that's something. Other than that, not much. Just mostly hung out, stayed online, napped, and did very little homework. Fun, eh? Tomorrow, I register for spring classes. Fun, not. I'm about to go check on some of the classes I'm interested in. Some of them are already full, which disappoints me, but I may check over the winter break to see if anyone drops one and leaves an opening. Plus, I might actually have to end up getting a job T_T. I do have a job as a substitute desk assistent, but I don't get many hours. I only work when someone calls me, and still only if I either get the call or even want to work. I'm not going to work some early am jobs. That's nuts. Oh well. At least I have a winter job lined up, even if it is working with my dad again. Is it just me, or am I the only one who thinks Yuki is cooler than Kyo from Fruits Basket?

   Oops, Sorry Kid

Saturday night, in the middle of Samurai Champloo on Adult Swim. Here's my day. I got up around 10am and stayed online until around 12:30, when I met some friends to get ready for the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention volunteer meeting. It was fun. I'm going to enjoy working in the dealers room. We had fun playing on the playground in the park where the meeting was. I accidently hit a kid with some sort of balloon frisbee type thing T_T, but he was ok, so I'm glad ^_^. We then read manga at Borders, where I read Tsubasa Reservior Chronicles vol 7 and Hellsing vol 7. Both were good. Then, food and some exploring in a nearby mall. Finally, we left. I got back to the dorm around 6:30, where I turned on the tv and saw the live action, Michael Keaton Batman on Cartoon Network. Great movie. Not a cartoon, odd for Cartoon Network, but still a great movie. Watched the rest of Toonami and now I'm on Adult Swim. I also ran through some class choices for registering on Monday. I hope that goes well. I'll probably spend the rest of the night watching Adult Swim, unless one of my friends IMs me with something better to do. Not much else going on. It's Cold Out There

Friday is over. Class went well. I remembered that I register for my spring classes on Nov 21st, which so happens to be Monday. I'll have to pick out classes and such. Such a pain, but it's worth it to get the right classes I guess. Ate lunch around 12:45, and I then took a nap from around 2 to 4. After the nap, I ate dinner with some friends and then went to go play some games and read Fruits Basket vol 4. I do like that series thus far. I just wish he had the rest. Well, a bunch of people went to go see the Rocky Horror play, and if you read my rant about seeing the movie in my post-Halloween post, you can guess that I'm not much of a fan, so I decided to come back. Not before a short walk around campus though. Walking around at midnight when you can see your breath. It was nice and peaceful. Now, I'm back, and that's my day. I'll probably watch some Bleach and call it a night. I guess that's all. Have fun commenting.

Last Couple of Days

I'm so behind on my GBs that it's not even funny. I'll respond to you if you signed...hopefully. Tuesday, not too eventful until the tornado warning. I wasn't really worried, and it all passed over us, so we were fine. When everything was lightened up by around 9:30, some friends and I went to Books-A-Million to read and IHOP to eat. Then, back to the dorm for me to study and sleep. Wednesday, anime club. The day was normal. Anime club was ok. Not the best meeting though, especially after some forum troll posted some crap about our club president. This moron used the same computer as he uses his regular account on, so it was pretty easy to see who it was. Not too bright. Well, we watched plenty of stuff like Blood+, Paradice Kiss, Trinity Blood, and some other stuff. Afterwards, it was the post-club Cyber meeting in the Cyber Cafe. I hung out with everyone for a while. Gave Krystal a birthday card for her birthday. I like giving people presents for b-days and Christmas, but it's kinda hard to do when broke. Lucky thing to have b-day cards on sale on campus. The last of us eft around midnight, where I came back here and am posting. I want a good cd-rw/dvd-rw drive so I can borrow burned stuff from people and read. A bigger hard drive would be good too. I really haven't seem near as much stuff as I would like.
