Stupid Tests

I should be studying now, but I'm taking a quick break. Tomorrow, in Japanese, we're having our first big Japanese test. We're going to be tested over our hiragana and vocabulary. I'm still trying to memorize a few of the hiragana letters that aren't in my head yet. The grammar structure doesn't seem too complicated yet, but given the amount of actual Japanese I hear in subbed anime, we're not even close. Still, it's a start. Right now, I'm listening to an anime radio station through AOL Music. AOL actually did something right. Not the best sound quality though. Oh well. Tomorrow's the anime club, just what I'll need to cheer me up after school. Get to hang out with my friends some more. That's good. I don't really have much else to say, since I should get back to studying. Have fun commenting.

Monday Bues...and Reds Fighting Each Other

Monday wasn't too bad. Japanese went ok. English, we watched a movie. Karate was just usual. I watched some of the newer Ah My Goddess series, up to episode 16. I'll watch the rest probably after my Japanese test on Wednesday. After watching that, I went to dinner with some friends. They were serving bbq chicken, and when I asked for some, the cafeteria worker gave me half a chicken. That was awesome. Afterwards, went to a friend's dorm to hang out, and then to another friend's dorm to watch Red vs Blue. Around 10:45, I came back to my dorm. That rounds out my day. Tomorrow is Tuesday. I get to sleep in. Yay. I also have studying for my big Japanese test Wednesday. That'll be fun [/sarcasm]. I guess that's all for now. Have fun commenting.

My Pretty Good Weekend

Saturday was great. I got up at 9:20 to get ready for the anime club, so I showered, packed my CLAMP manga, and left. It was a blast. From 11-8, we all just hung out. It was a CLAMP day, so we watched stuff like RG Veda, Magic Knights Rayearth, Angelic Layer, Chobits, and a Card Captor Sakura short. I didn't see everything there since I was in the gaming room. I played Naruto, which I was ok in. I played ddr some, which I incredibly sucked in. It was just a great meeting. After the meeting, I went with some friends to Nashville so that one friend could get a tatoo. During that time, us guys went to Taco Bell for some food. Eating was nice. We returned to see our friend waiting there. Appearently, it didn't take as long to do her tatoo as we thought. Well, we left and had to take a round about way to the interstate to avoid a big crash. After returning, we went to a friend's dorm to watch Invader Zim and flash cartoons. We finally left, and I came back to my dorm to go to sleep at around 3 am. Sunday was cool too. I got up at about 10 am, which was cool. Not as cool as my friend Tak, who slept from 1am to 3pm. Yeah, he slept for 14 hours straight. Lucky. Well, I did laundry, which was good. I hung out with some friends for a while. I came back to my dorm to just sit around. I have to get to some homework now. I have a really big Japanese test on Wednesday. I guess that's all for now. Friday

Not much. Went to class. Hung out with friends. Actually visited some sites. Other than that, pretty uneventful. Saturday is an all day anime day with the anime club. We're going to be having a CLAMP day, showing only CLAMP titles. Which ones, I'm not sure yet. It should be good though. That's pretty much it. Have fun commenting.

Amazingly Quick Paper Abilities

1:35 am, just got done with a 1000 word paper I started less than two hours ago. Thank you high school for blessing me with some l337 quick paper writing abilities. Considering the level of the class and the past grades I've gotten in it, I should make a decent grade. Now, post this, and I'm done for the night. Ah, the night. What a great night this Thursday has been. It was actually cool out, which was nice. I met some friends around 6 for dinner, and we hung out until almost midnight when I left to do my paper. We ate, hung out outside, watched some amvs, sword fought, and just had a blast. Yes, we sword fought with practice swords. I sucked though. I was just pwned out there, not that I didn't expect that. Oh well. Friday, one class, then turn in a paper, do three hours of service work for my scholarship, go out to eat with my mom for her birthday unless she has to cancel, and then just do nothing. Saturday, another famour all day anime day with the anime club. Yay. That'll be fun. Well, not much else to talk about. Have fun commenting.

   Anime Club Rocks

Sorry for not commenting much again. From about 4:30 pm onward, I was kinda occupied by haning out. I think I'm actually getting a social life. Not much of one though. Oh well. Still an awesome day. Anime Club was awesome. A lot of us met up for dinner before hand. We then walked to the club meeting. There, we watched Genshiken 6-7, Shuffle 4, He is My Master 1, and FF7: Last Order. It was great. After the meeting, a heck of a lot of us went to the cyber cafe on campus just to hang out. It's become just something a lot of us do after each meeting.We were talking, laughing, watching G4, and just having a great time. Then, a few of us and I went to a friend's dorm to watch AMV Hell 1, 2, and 3. Given that AMV Hell 3 is about an hour long, we were there for a while. It was still great. Afterwards, I decided to return and tell you all about my day. That's pretty much it. Hope you all have fun commenting.

No Comments, But Here's a Camera Warning

I'm not commenting as much as I used to. I'm sure some of you have noticed this. Well, it's because some nights, I hang out with friends until 11 pm. In my time zone, that is when the time change happens on myO. I then miss out on the highlighted names in my backroom of people who have updated, so I don't visit them. Sorry. I think I may be developing something resembling a social life, but I doubt it. I will put up the semi-good pics, but it'll take a few days. Don't worry. They will be here, and when I go to the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention, I will use a digital camera that won't screw me over like those crappy disposable cameras did. Either that, or I'll use the same brand of disposable cameras my friend used since his turned out fine, but that would be a last resort. Don't use FujiFilm brand disposable cameras. That's what I used, and they sucked. They're green, so you can spot them out that way. Just a warning. That's all. Have fun commenting.

Stupid Disposable Cameras

Ok, good news and bad news. Good news is that I have the pics. Bad news is that they all suck. There are a few ok ones, but most of them are really bad. People are not centered, some things are cut out, and there's a couple where I just missed. I showed them to my friends and they said I suck at taking photos. One said that it was the disposable cameras that were screwed up, which made me kinda happy. Still, from now on, screw disposable cameras. I'm using digital at mtac. Just another thing to ask for Christmas. I'll just pick the better bics and put those online within a few days. Some more good news is that I just got done watching AMV Hell 3. It's an hour long of clips of really bad and funny anime music videos. The videos were good, but they just paired the wrong songs and anime together on purpose to make some really funny stuff. It was great. That kinda cheered me up for my bad pics, but not much. I have a test tomorrow, but it's not until 1, which is my first class, which makes me happy. I get to catch up on more sleep. I caught up on some today with a nap. That was cool. Still depressed about the pics though. Well, I guess I'll get going. Have fun commenting.

   I'M BACK!

Ok, AWA was freaken awesome! No pics yet, but they will come in a few days. I have two disposable camreas worth of pics. First off, it was a long few hour drive, but it wasn't bad. Once we got there, it was awesome. Remember when I said that I withdrew $300 fow AWA? Yeah, I spent most of that. I bought figures, wallscrolls, shirts, manga, dojinshi, dvds, and a hat. I will get some money back for giving money to friends. Still, most of it is gone. I'm glad I took ramen. I was able to feed myself as well as some friends with ramen and a coffee pot. It was just a blast. I saw some cool amvs. The cosplay contest on Saturday was cool. I had a friend who did a cool Haku in a Naruto group, and her group was the largest cosplay group that AWA ever had in 11 years. When they got on stage, a friend and I yelled "Go ninja! Go ninja! Go!" from Ninja Rap in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, but since we were all the way in the back, they probably didn't hear. After the cosplay contest, there was some para para and a rave in one room and a Cowboy Bebop lounge in another. The Bebop lounge was cool, even though I was only there for a few mintues. Most of the time, I took pics and hung out with friends. You can see the pics to see more of what went on, but they won't tell a lot of what went on. Still, it was a blast. I got back around 7:30 tonight. I spent a lot of the time setting up my wallscrolls, picking just where they should go. If you have any questions regarding the con, ask away. Have fun commenting.

Ran Off to AWA

Well, this is my last post until Monday morning. I will be off at Anime Weekend Atlanta. Before that, let's talk about Thursday. I had a lab at 9 that went ok. My sociology class put me to sleep, so I got a nice nap. By the way, that was the class I had that paper in, and I finished my paper at 2 in the morning. Physical science was boring. The rest of the day was fairly boring. I did withdraw $300 for AWA. I highly doubt I'll spend it all, but best to be prepared. I also played ff7 on the ps2 my friend let me borrow. It's cool. Now for Friday. I am getting up atound 7:20 on Friday morning and going to my Japanese class. If I can, I'll try to leave early. I plan to come back and shower before my ride and I leave at 10 am. I'll be in a car of four people, going down to Atlanta. It'll be awesome. I just need to get a couple of disposable cameras so that I can show you all pics. Trust me, there will be pics. I don't really have anything else to say. I don't know when I'll be back Sunday. I won't have the pics by then, but I should get them fairly soon afterwards. That's really all I have for this post.
