Not Much Today Either.

Not much for Monday. I slept late, did a couple of chores, and watched tv. I spent a while talking to some service people online to get my external cd-rw drive to work right and play audio cds. No such luck. I'll be taking it back before I return to college. Not much else. Go read the request. Eventually, someone will read it and decide to do it, I hope. It worked with the last one. Not Much Sunday

Not much happened today. Watched more of my Genshiken dvd, did some chores, ate some food, watched tv, read manga, and that's about it. Fun, eh? Well, tomorrow, I won't have much to do, just as the rest of the week. I go back to college Friday, but before that, I need to get a pair of shoes and a bunch or ramen. Yum, ramen, the main part of any good college student's diet. Packing will be fun, especially with my increased manga collection. What A Saturday

Well, as my usual summer Saturdays, I went to the mall. I got the Trigun Maximum vol 6 manga and the Genshiken vol 1 dvd. Both are cool. I just got done reading Trigun Maximum vol 6, and it's really good. Well, I also got back to school stuff and an external cd-rw drive. Too bad I can't seem to get it to play audio cds, but regular cd-rs and cd-rws seem to work fine, which is more than I can say for my crappy drive on my laptop. I've been basically messing around with the stuff I got at the mall ever since I got back, as well as watching some tv. Adult Swim is on now, Inuyasha in particular. Best get back to that. Done With Work

Well, today was it. I am done working with my dad for the summer. No more repairing or installing doors, at least until December. Well, as far as my last day goes, it was ok. Not much work, but it was really hot out. I mowed the yard after I got home, which was still in the heat. Oh well. At least I had my ipod shuffle with me. One More Work Day

Today is my second to last day of working with my dad. Tomorrow, Friday, is the last day. Finally. Then, a week until I go back to college. As for work today, it was ok. We put up a door at a car repair garage. It was really hot out. I was covered with sweat before 10 am, and that's just not right. It wasn't too bad. At least it was pay day. What was bad was me mowing my neighbor's yard. Sweat kept getting in my eyes and stinging a bit. At least I had my iPod and I got paid for mowing it. That's the last time I'll mow her yard this year. Long Day and the Request

Well, today was a whole bunch of stuff. It was my last Wednesday at work, so that was nice. My dad and I wentto a town a little bit away to finish installing a couple of doors and dock shelters. I thought that it would take another day, but we actually finished. Plus, for lunch, we had Chinese. I had sweet and sour chicken and egg drop soup. That's pretty much all the good news. For the bad news, there's a lot. First, my throat still hurt today, but I do think it's getting a bit better. Secondly, my dad smashed a finger with a hammer in the morning. Third, our work truck died, so we had to wait for a wrecker to come all the way back from Nashville to pick us up, which was a little less than an hour away from where we were working. Finally, it was pouring after we got done working, so we waited for the wrecker and went all the way back to Nashville in the rain. All in all, my dad and I didn't get home from work until 8 pm, which means that we had been working for about 13 hours. Sick Day and a Request

No work for Tuesday. My dad took me to the doctor to get my throat checked out. It seems that I had a sore spot in the back of my throat, probably from some food getting stuck there, most likely a piece of a nacho. Nachos, how could you betray me? Well, the doctor gave me some numbing stuff to put on the wound. It helps some. The doctor said the sore should be gone in about three days, so that's good. Too bad I still have work tomorrow. Work and Sore Throat

Well, Monday was more work. It was hot out. Still, it wasn't all too bad. What was bad was that I had and have a sore throat. Stupid throat. Oh well. I might have to go see a doctor Tuesday. What a Busy and Fun Day

Well, this Sunday was busy. I got up around 8 because my dad was tuning his guitar, which woke me up. We finished getting the house clean and all, and family started to come over. There were a lot of people. It was fun. We talked, swam, played darts, ate, and did that all again. My little cousin is getting into anime, so I showed him around my room. He knew more than I thought, but still not as much as me. I also beat him at Super Smash Bros Melee about three times. They started to arrive at around 1, and the last people didn't leave until around 8. Then, I helped a little with the clean up and started to watch tv. I later got online, which is where I am now. Tomorrow is Monday, and back to work. Stupid work. Good news: only one more week to go. Bad news: I have one more week to go. At least I'll get paid. I have stuff to pick up for school after all, like more anime and manga. Plus, after this week, I'll get a week to work on the story. I need a name for it. Stupid names. Day at the Lake

Today was awesome. To start off, I got up around 10, which was nice. Breakfast was some Krystal chics and fries, and I do love me some Krystal chics. Then, after getting all packed, my dad, my stepmom, and I left for the lake at around 1. There were a lot of us there. Me, my parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We rented a boat and a jet ski. It was awesome. The weather was nice. Since it had been so freaking hot all week and even that morning, the water was warm. However, it was mostly cloudy and windy, so the air wasn't too hot, making it feel nice out there. I went swimming and hung out with my cousins. I also got to drive a jet ski. Now that was fun. I was on it for a while, going around the boat and around islands in the lake and such. It was cool. I got home around 7 and helped unpack. After a shower to get the lake water off of me, I watched tv and ate some left overs. I got online, looked at some sites, and am posting here while watching Inuyasha. That's my day thus far. Tomorrow, the earlier mentioned family, plus some, will be visiting the house, so it should be hectic. Oh yeah, and only one more week of work, so yay. I guess that's all. Have fun commenting.
