Friday: Cold, Hot, and Football

Well, I told you all that I probably wouldn't visit many of you, and I didn't. I didn't get home and online until after the date change, after which the highlights from the updated accounts disappear. I'll visit those who post Saturday hopefully. Well, have any of you ever stayed in a refridgerated room for around four hours? I have. It was a storage room for food, and the temp was around 40 F, so it was cold. My dad and I had to fix a door. Well, we got it fixed, so no more working in there. After work, dad and I went with some relatives to a Tennessee Titans game. The Tennessee Titans is an American football team, for those who don't know. Over 60,000 people were there, and it was just a pre-season game. We lost, but we didn't try that hard either. The coaches were just trying to see who to keep or let go. Still, it was fun. I came home and got online, which is where I am now. Saturday, I'll be on a boat for a lot of the day out on a lake. It'll be hot, that's for sure. Then, time to watch Toonami and Adult Swim as usual. I guess that's all for now. Have a nice weekend. Have fun posting.

Busy Day for Jin

What Samurai Champloo Character Are You? Hosted by theOtaku.com: Anime. Done right. Work went ok. The work wasn't too hard, and it went by pretty quickly. I had chinese for lunch, which is always good. My dad and I got off early too, and it's pay day, so that's all good. Tonight was cool. I have an aunt and some cousins in town from New Jersey, so my dad, them, and a lot of other aunts and uncles went to this aquarium restaurant. It was cool. There were fish, sharks, stingrays, and eels swimming in an aquarium while we ate. Afterwards, I ran to the Barnes and Noble right across from the place and got Rurouni Kenshin vol 17 and Ultimate Spider-Man vol 13. Good night. I got back kinda late, so I didn't get to visit everyone. Friday night, I'm going to a Tennessee Titans football game, so I don't think I'll be visiting anyone. It's Hot Out There

Work was hot and long today. Well, it wasn't really long, but it felt like it. I hear that the high temp was around 97. I don't doubt it. Oh well. Just a week and a half to go of work. After work, I had to help clean house since we're having a family get-together this weekend. I had to clean the bath tub, clean and vacuum my room, wash the dishes, and fold some clothes. Other than that, I basically watched tv and listened to my iPod. Not much else. I guess that's all for now. Have fun commenting. Bye.

MTSU, Here I Come

I worked again, as usual. I got to work in a cooler room today, a room that stays like a fridge to store food. I actually had to wear a jacket. It was cool, literally. Well, when I got home, I found my bill for my fall semester's tuition. It's $410. I love scholarships. Well, it doesn't include the $1000 food plan or the books, which will probably bring the total around $2000, but it's still more than I thought it would be. Well, the check is in the mail box, so I'll be going to school in about three weeks. I actually may even have enough money to buy stuff at Anime Weekend Atlanta, and I plan to buy plenty. If anyone else is going to AWA, let me know. Otherwise, not much else. I tried working on a title for the story (titles are hard), but I dont have anything definate yet. I guess that's all for now. Monday is Monday

Well, there goes Monday. It was ok. Work wasn't bad. We actually worked at a place close to home in the morning, so when we got done around lunch time, we just came home to eat. That means that I didn't have to pay anything. The rest of work was ok too. I got home and helped my dad with putting up the shed door track after taking it down to fix the floor. Dinner was chili dogs, which was good. I got paid $10 to wash the dishes and put up left overs, which was easy. Got online, visited people, and here I am. Not much else. Just a couple of weeks to go until I'm done with work. Maybe then I'll have time to get some work done on my story. The opening scene is coming together in my head, and so are the boss fights, Then again, the fights are the easy parts. Not much else to post about. I guess that's all. Two More Work Weeks To Go

What Straw Hat Pirate Are You? Hosted by theOtaku.com: Anime. Done right. Tomorrow is Monday, and it's the second to last Monday at my job for this summer. Two work weeks, then one week off, and then it's back to college. Yay. Well, today was chore filled. My dad had me watering a bunch of stuff, and I helped him replace part of the floor in the shed. At least my iPod kept me entertained. I ate dinner, watched some tv, and got online, which is where I am now. I'll go to bed after this for work in the morning, so this will end my weekend. As for my story, it'll probably be a couple of weeks at the earliest that I'll get started writing, after I finish work. Next weekend, I have family from out of town, so I won't work on it then. Nor will I get to go to the mall, so no new manga for me. In two weeks though, I shall be free and able to get started. However, I hope to have a description of one of the main characters soon for someone to draw. It will be much more detailed than the last one, and I'll probably even give you some drawings to use as a jumping board (hint, there's actually some in my fan art). Back Earlier Than Expected

Well, I thought I would be at my aunt's home for another night, but it turns out that we were all spending the night for only one night. Oh well. It was fun. I hung out with my aunt, my sister, and my cousins. We ate pizza, watched tv, talked, and went to Wal-Mart. Amazingly enough, Wal-Mart actually had the new Newtype issue. I was amazed. I bought it of course, and I read it on the ride home and when I got home. That's pretty much it. Unlike most Saturdays, I didn't go to the mall and get manga. I probably won't do that next weekend either. Kinda good actually, since I need to save up some cash. Not really much else to talk about. I'm watching Inuyasha right now, so I guess I'll get back to that. I guess that's al. Everyone have a good day. Have fun posting.

Be Back Soon

Today was pretty good. Work was pretty easy, and my dad and I got off early. Plus, it was pay day, which is always nice. When I got home, I had to mow the yard. Not hard. While doing it, I saw a package on our front porch. It was my Megatokyo shirt. It came. Now, it needs to be washed and shrink a little bit. Looks cool. I also read through some of my manga collection. That's pretty much it. Friday, I'll be going over to my aunt's house for the weekend. As such, I probably won't be here until Sunday, or Monday since I post after the date change. So, while I'm gone, just comment on stuff here. Have a nice weekend. Bye.

Worked Today, Will Work Tomorrow

Work wasn't too bad. I didn't have too much hard work. Came home and nearly starved while waiting for chicken alfreado, which was good. I love chicken, pasta, and alfreado sause. Went through some of my manga collection. It's definatly growing. I think I may even have something close to a plot starting in my head. There's not much else. I guess that's all.
