Rain, Rain, Rain

It rained a lot today. I had to work in some of it. It wasn't bad. Work was actually easy, and my dad and I got to go home soon. I read some of my manga collection today. It has really grown this summer. It's not big, but it's about doubled since I got out of college. I have 31 seperate books: -Rurouni Kenshin (14 books) -Trigun/Trigun Maximum (7 books) -Hellsing (3 books) -Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles (3 books) -InuYasha (2 books) -Genshiken (1 book) -Full Metal Panic (1 book) It has grown quite a bit. It'll be a hassle to take all that to college, as well with my American comic graphic novels, especially with about 7 weeks of collecting before college. Still, I'll try to take it all. Well, he comes the blue text again. Ok, I know you all have read this, but it'll go up again. Now, for the drawing stuff again. If anyone who was interested in drawing for me still wants to, here are my very few requirements for a female character (it's the same one I talked about in yesterday's post).: 1 Gender - female 2 Age - 18-20 3 Hair - red, neck to sholder length 4 Skin - white 5 Weapons - two short swords, one at each hip 6 Some sort of thing on her right hand that holds a light blue jewel on the back of her hand, One suggestion: for clothing, look towards games like Tales of Symphonia or anime like Scrapped Princess. Darker clothes for the clothing preferred. This is just a suggestion. If you want to draw that, of have any questions, email me or IM me. Weekend's Over

Well, not much happened this Sunday. I did some work on myotaku profile, updating it. I did some yard work for my parents. I...uh...ate food. Not much happened today. Monday, it's back to work. Boring old work. Six weeks of work left, then a week before I go back to college. I can't believe I actually want to go back to school. I never wanted to go back to school before, but then again, my old schools before college never had an anime club. Well, that's all for now. If you've read the blue before, skip it. Manga

Today was an ok day. Well, better than ok. It was good. I went to the mall today. Walked around a lot, listening to anime music on my iPod. I got manga and comics. I got Rurouni Kenshin vol 13 and 14, Hellsing vol 3, and Batman: Hush vol 1. I came home, and I read them, of course. Watched Toonami, and I'm currently watch Adult Swim. It's Inuyasha at the moment. Not much else to talk about. The rest is the drawing stuff. If you just want to read the post and skip the drawing stuff, skip the blue text and comment. Better Late Than Never

Well, after work, I finally got my pay check cashed. I kept about $75, so I'll be going to the mall Saturday. New manga and comics for me. In other news, I saw the end of Gungrave last night. It was cool. I love Gungrave. Story is by the same guy as Trigun. It's a cool anime. Now, I don't have to stay up late to watch it. Ok, I know you all have read this, but it'll go up again. Overtime Work

I didn't get paid today, kinda. My dad and I get our pay checks on Thursdays and go cash them at the bank. Today, however, we worked overtime, so by the time we got the checks, the bank was closed. We'll have to cash them Friday. Then, Saturday, mall time to get manga and comic. It's how I spend my weekends. Not a bad way to spend the weekends either. More Work

Yep, more work. Nothing special about today. Thursday, however, is payday, so I get to buy stuff like manga and comics. Back to Work

Work actually seemed to go by pretty quickly today. Maybe it was because I forgot my watch. Well, work wasn't bad. I got home and didn't do much, as usual. Wake up early, go to work, come home, watch tv, get online, go to sleep. It's the average summer weekday for me these days. Kinda boring. Oh well. Oh, yesterday, I pre-registered for the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention. That's the con I went to last April. I'm registered for two cons now: Anime Weekend Atlanta and Middle Tennessee Anime Convention. It's going to be an expensive school year, with both of these cons, but it'll be worth it. There Goes the 4th

Well, my 4th of July was pretty uneventful. My parents spent the night at my stepmom's sister's house, so they didn't come home until around noon. I swam a bit, and that was fun. It later rained for a few minutes. I spent most of the time watching tv. Pretty boring day. Tuesday, it's back to work. Back to getting paid and all that. Oh well. Now, to the drawing description. Happy 4th of July

I could be out with my parents, watching them launch fireworks at my stepmom's sister's house, but I chose to stay at home. Fireworks just aren't as entertaining as they used to be, and I'd be bored the rest of the time. Besides, I was working on some designs at the time they left. I went swimming afterwards. That was fun. I was playing anime music out by the pool, and the water was warm. Not really much else. If someone does want to draw something for me, I don't really have a drawing to show anyone yet, but there is something that's been giving me trouble that you can draw. As bad as I am with male characters, I'm even worse with female characters. Unfortunately, one of the main characters is a female, so yeah, my attempts all suck. Saturday was Nice

I actually did some work on a character design. Not much though. At least I finally found out how to do the main character's cape so that the sword he wears on his back doesn't get in the way. I did get enough to get a manga, so I went and got one. I went down to the Suncoast in the mall and got a new manga called Genshiken. It's about an anime/manga/video game club called Genshiken, the Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture. It's cool, and I can kinda relate. Not much else after that. Watched Toonami, and I'm currently watching Adult Swim. I guess that's about all for now. Have a good day. Enjoy commenting.
