Work is Done for the Week

It's been hot all week, and now we get to work in a cooler to fix a door. I actually needed a jacket in there. We had easy jobs and got to get off work early. I had to wash the parents' cars and some dishes, but they're paying me for it. Yay. I might have enough to go to the mall and get a manga. That would be nice.

Yes, I actually kinda started on a character design. It's only a stick figure so far. I plan to draw around it, but I haven't gotten to it yet. I will though. Well, that's all. Have fun commenting.

Another Day of Work

I've already typed this, but I guess something messed up the connection. Well, it was hot and annoying today. Thursday is usually payday, but not today. The pay is from the week before, and I was on vacation. Appearantly, you need to work there a year to get a paid vacation. My dad got paid, and I didn't. Darn. No new manga or comics for me this weekend. I have money, but most of it is in the bank for college, except for the $110 I have in my AWA fund and the $15 in my wallet. Oh well.

It was hot out. On top of not getting paid, I had to work out in the heat and mow the yard when I got home. I was covered in sweat.I nice shower fixed that up though.

No, I haven't worked on the character design. I'm glad people were understanding about me not wanting the pics on their fanart. I will eventually show off the pics somehow, I think, and I will give the artists their credit. It's just going to take some time. I still have to work on a pilot story for it. I'll probably put up the pilot and the pics you all draw at the same time. I'll work on some info this weekend. It'll be nice to have a long weekend. That's all for now. Have fun commenting.

Yet More Work

Geez it was hot today. No rain either to cool us down. I had to drive my dad's truck back and forth from work to the tire shop before and after work to get new tires on it. I hate driving. I accidently drove the entire time, which was only about a couple of minutes both trips, in the lowest gear, which is supposedly not good. Oh well. I warned him not to let me drive. How the heck did I get my license anyway? As for the rest of the day, nothing much else. More work tomorrow. At least it'll be pay day.

No, I did not do the character design. Maybe I can do it this weekend...maybe. Remember, I'll post it and anyone who wants to can draw a detailed version of it. Oh, and please don't put this on the fanart. I don't plan to put your works as my own. I just don't want this to be put up before I actually get started on the work myself. I'm paranoid about people stealing my work. I'm paranoid about a lot of things. It gets annoying after a while. Don't let what I just said confuse you. I'll post instructions when I put up the character design. I guess that's all. Have a good day. Bye.

More Work

It was hot and humid, so that was kinda annoying. Work was ok though. After my dad and I got home, he later discovered a flat tire, so I had to help change it. I do have good news. Gungrave finishes up on Anime Unleashed on G4 next week. That's good. I like that series. Not much else.

Oh. People have been asking if they could draw my work for me. I'd like for my artist and I to have a face-to-face relationship. Still, I will work on a character design to get up and have people to draw a character to see how they do. I don't know which character or when it'll be up, but I'll update you more on that as it comes. That's all. Bye.

It was hot out. Really hot. Humid too, so that worsens it. I went back to work today. It was work. Not much else to say. It stormed when I got back home. Not much else. I have been talking online about rooming at AWA. It's looking good. I think my share may just be $60. That's awesome. I already have more than that saved up. Well, that's all for now. I'll get going. Not Much

I got up at about 11:00. I mowed my neighbor's yard for $35. It was hot out, but I got it done. I read some of my manga and comics I bought yesterday. I ate dinner. Here I am. Pretty uneventfu day. Monday, it's back to work, making money and all that. Got to get up early and all that. Wish me luck.

Manga: cheaper than anime but still too expensive

Today was ok. I woke up to the dogs barking. That was annoying. Turns out that there was a cat under the house. I don't know if it's still there or not. I almost got it out on my own, but it turned around. Makes sense. It was much cooler under the house than it was outside. Well I went to the mall. I got Rurouni Kenshin manga 11 and 12, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles manga 3, and the July Newtype. I also stopped off a comic shop to get Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. I watched Toonami, and now I'm watching Adult Swim. That will probably round out the day.

Tomorrow, I'll probably be mowing a neighbor's yard for cash, something I'm in need of after today. Then, Monday, back to work. Well, I get a three day weekend for the 4th of July. That's nice. Plus, I'll be making money for more and more manga. It's nice that my collection is growing. Well, I guess that's all. Have fun commenting. Bye.

Adam West is Cool

Today, I went canoeing. My dad and I left home at 9:30 am and got on the water at about 1:10 pm. We didn't finish the trip until a few minutes after 6 pm. The main reason was because the river was so shallow. I don't think we went through a certain part that went over my head. We got caught up a lot. It was annoying. Oh well. Still kinda fun. I didn't get home until about 9:45 pm. Long day. Saturday, I'll probably go to the mall or something. Get some manga or something. Not much else. Well, talk to you all later. Bye.

I Got My AWA Ticket

Today, in the mail, my Anime Weekend Atlanta ticket. Cool. Just a few months to go. Well, also today, I laid out on a float in the pool for about an hour. It was really hot. Good thing I had a pool to fall into. Then, my dad and I went to go pick up our pay checks. I kept $50. For dinner, I ate sesame chicken and white rice, and I watched The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. That was good. That pretty much sums up the day.

As you can tell, I'm not camping at the moment. My dad and I just decided to take a day trip tomorrow to go canoeing. That should be fun. That's my Friday plan. I also wrote more in my idea notebook today and played Tales of Symphonia for ideas. It helps me think or completely rip off from. I'm not sure which one yet. I guess that's all. Bye.

Wednesday is Over

My parents came back today. My dad talked a bit about wanting to go camping Thursday, but we don't know where, so it might fall through. Oh well. I don't mind. I wrote a little more in my little notebook. Keeping those ideas flowing. They aren't always flowing in the right direction, but they're flowing. Not really much else to talk about now. Nothing exciting today. Maybe tomorrow. If I don't post tomorrow, it's because I'm camping. I guess that's all. Bye.
