Weekend is Over

Well, not much happened. Watched tv, layed out on a float in the pool, watched The Aviator, played Tales of Symphonia, and not much else. Fun, eh? I got to get up early tomorrow and go to work again. Not fun. Not really anything else to talk about. Well, go ahead and comment. Bye.

Darn Saturday Night Programming

I have to switch between Adult Swim, which is basically all new, and SNL, which is showing the Best of Alec Baldwin. Decisions, decisions. Well, Saturday was ok. I mowed a neighbor's yard and made $35. That was nice. It's so much better having my iPod to listen to while doing chores. I also went swimming and napped by the pool. Not much else. Time to get back to tv. Bye.

Lots Of Comments

I got a lot of comments yesterday. Cool. Let's keep that up. Well, I worked again today. I hate getting up at 5:50 am. Work wasn't hard, but getting up that early doesn't help things. At least I don't have to stay up and watch ROD the TV series now. It finished up on Anime Unleashed on G4 last night. It was ok, but it could have been better. The ending felt a little rushed. I prefer the ROD ova. Well, I don't really have much else to talk about. Keep on commenting. Bye.

More Work

Well, I will consider it Friday when I wake up. I worked again with my dad today. It wasn't too hard, but I don't expect it to stay that way. The really hard part is getting up at 5:50 am and trying to stay awake all day. When I got back, I went out on the pool on a float and took a nap for about an hour. It was actually longer than I thought it would be. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Tomorrow, I'll work again, and then it'll be the weekend. I really don't have much to talk about. The last episode of ROD the TV series comes on tonight on Anime Unleashed. I'll be watching that before going to bed. I guess that's all for now. Bye.

Winner = Trigun!

As you can see, the Trigun bg one. Thank you to inuyasha102 for creating and submitting the wallpaper to theotaku's wallpaper site. Well, I also passed the 5000 total visitor mark. Awesome. Thanks everyone for visiting.

I worked with my dad today. I had to get up at 5:50am, which pretty much ruined my day. The work wasn't bad or anything, but getting up that early can't help any day. I'll be working there Thursday, Friday, and every weekday until I can find myself a better job. Better job means it starts later. The really bad thing is the G4 decided to air the last episodes of ROD the TV series on Anime Unleashed this week. I obviously can't miss it, so I'll watch it, turn the tv off after it ends at 1 am, and sleep for as much as I can. Oh well. I guess that's all for now. Bye.

Well, now the job news.

Good news: I got a job

Bad news: It's working with my dad at a door installing/maintainence company

Really bad news: It means I'll have to get up at around 5:45-6:00am in the morning

I don't want to work with my dad, and I really don't want to get up that early. I can quit though if I get a better job. I doubt Media Play will pull through, but I hope Books-A-Million will. I' would be at nights there, and I'm fine with that. I so hope I get that one so that I can quit working for my dad. He just told me today that I'd be working with him, and I start tomorrow. I knew that was a possibility, but I didn't expect it this suddenly. This is really annoying.

In other news, I watched my Hellsing dvd today with the first three episodes. Having watched the first dvd and read the first volume, I think I like the manga more. Alucard looks cooler in the anime, but there's more to the story in the manga, as usual, and I didn't care for some of the changes made for the anime. Well, that's all. Keep commenting.

Today was fairly boring. I have some bad news. My reverse blade turned out not to be too durable. I had it leaning up against my bed. When I walked by, I hit the handle, and it bent. I bent it back, but now it'll bend right at the hand guard fairly easily. It looks fine now, but I can't use it much, so I'll keep it hanging on the wall. At least my trusted bokken is still fine, and so are my sais.

I tried drawing my main character to the story I've been working on for around a year. I reaffirmed my knowledge of my total lack in ability of drawing faces or hands or any sort of depth. There is a reason why I'd rather write than draw. I suck at drawing. I'm less sucky at writting. Well, I guess that's all for now. Remember to vote. Bye.

My Weekend

My weekend was cool. Saturday, I went to a sidewak sale at a local place where I bought Trigun Maximum manga vol 5 and Hellsing anime 1. After that, off to the Renaissance Festival. It was fun. I got a pair of sais. It was an expensive day though. All in all, I spent about $60. I really need to get a job. Afterwards, I spent the night at my aunt's house. Samurai Champloo was good. The Inuyasha movie was good too. They should have shown it widescreen though because you could tell it was squashed for fullscreen. Oh well. I still prefer the second and third movies.

Sunday, I went to my cousin's baby shower, was bored, and eventually returned home. That pretty much covers it all. Not much else. I said I will change the look, and I well...eventually. I've been gone all weekend, so I haven't been able to work on it. Picking a new bg will be hard. The song has been up for a few days though, so at least I've started with that. Well, I guess that's all. Bye.

Well, Friday, I did a few chores. My dad and stepmom stayed home, which was annoying, but it wasn't quite as bad as it could have been. I didn't even do anything to look for a job. Not much else to talk about for tonight. Saturday, I'll be going to a renaissance fair with some family and then spend the night at my aunt's house. I'll have to be sure not to miss Adult Swim. I haven't seen the first Inuyasha movie yet, just the second and third ones. Not really much else. I don't really have much else to say, so I guess I'll get going. Bye.

EDIT: I decided to change the theme of the site. I'm working on what I want the bg to be first and work from there. It might not be changed for a few days, but it will happen.
