Monday Night

Not much to talk about. Class was ok. Sunday, I did some homework and worked on picking my schedule for the fall. Today, I went to class and worked in the a/v lab. They left me to be the only one working at the end, and no one was there, so I printed out a Fullmetal Alchemist movie poster and laminated it. Hopefully, they'll do that on Friday. If so, I'll take the FMA poster that I got autographed at the convention I went to. That way, it'll be preserved. Speaking of Friday, it's a special day, and I'm not talking tax day. It's my birthday again. Amazing. My last one feels like it was only a year ago. Go figure. I'll be 19. I'll be spending time at my dad's house and my mom's house. That pretty much covers my weekend. I doubt I'll get much, but I'll wait to see. So, I'll be offline this weekend since I'm not taking my laptop. I guess that's pretty much all for now. Bye.

Saturday Was Great

It was an all day anime day with the anime club. It was great. We watched Steamboy, Appleseed, Ichigo 100% (I think the spelling is right), Scrapped Princess, and two others that I don't remember the name to. We ate at a chinese restaurant near by, and it was good. We had an overall good time. It lasted from 10am - 8pm. Afterward, I came back to the dorm. Now, I'm watching Saturday Night Live. I'll watch the second run of Adult Swim to catch FMA and GitS. Still no developed pics from mtac yet. By this next weekend for sure. That's pretty much all for now. Bye.

Today was OK

I got to sleep late, until after 10. I never did my outline for English. Oh well. Working in the a/v lad went well. The real highlight was that Bill Cosby was on campus for a performance, and I was there. He was great and funny. Uh, well, nothing else really happened. Cosby's performance lasted about two hours, and here I am. I guess that's pretty much it for now. Bye.

Hello

I finished watching Samurai Champloo. It's awesome. You all should watch it. It's 26 episodes. Well, today was not ok, except for finishing Samurai Champloo. Some jerk pulled the fire alarm at around 4:15-4:30 this morning. That sucked. My roommate had to get me up. I got my flipflops and my jacket on, and everyone had to stand outside and the fire trucks got there and checked out the building. We got back inside and slept. Then, later in the morning, I was zipping my jacket up, and the zipper broke. I've had that jacket since sophmore year in high school. I like that jacket. That just sucks. Plus, I'm still kinda sick. Also, I still have homework to do which I'm not even anywhere near starting for Friday. Oh well. I finished Samurai Champloo, and it was great. Still no pics yet. Don't know when I'll get them. I guess I'll get going. Bye.

I'm Sick

I think the anime club president got me sick. He was sick during mtac, and I'm sick as of Monday night. Crap. I've been coughing a lot. Well, I still went to class. My history quiz and bio exam went well. Before those, I had my bio lab early in the morning. After that, I came to my dorm and napped for an hour before my history class. Wednesday, I get to sleep late. That's awesome. Hopefully, I'll recover during then. In other news, there's no news. I guess that's all. Read or Die: the TV is showing new episodes on Anime Unleashed. At mtac, I got the Read or Die ova soundtrack. It's cool. That's all. Bye.

Day After MTAC

My post-mtac post was kinda long, wasn't it? Oh well. Today was Monday, so that means class. I was tired, still exhausted from mtac. Some good news is that my first two classes on Wednesday and Friday aren't meeting. Yay. Some more good news, you say? Ok. Our anime club shoud be going to Anime Weekend Atlanta in September. Yay. Something to look forward to. It'll be awesome. Bad news? I have a bio exam tomorrow, as well as a quiz in history. Hopefully, it'll go ok. After tomorrow, the week should be smooth sailing. Right now, I'm listening to one of my Lisa Ray cds. She was the musical guest at mtac, very good. I got her two cds for $20, and she autographed the booklets inside.    I'm back.

I saw comments. Thanks. Well, I went to the middle tennessee anime convention. It was freaken awesome. I spent about $200 on two shirts, three cds, three posters, two wall scrolls, a naruto forehead protector, food, and a $50 reverse blade katana. On the first night, we hung out. Lisa Ray was the musical guest, and she sang original and anime songs, as well as the Tennessee Waltz in Japanese. I haven't even heard the English version of the Tennessee Waltz. I bought her two cds for $20, which she signed both, as well as a pic. Saturday was cool too. Some of the people who do the voices on the dub Fullmetal Alchemist were there, including the guy who does Ed. Too bad the guy who does Roy wasn't there because Vic (the guy who does Ed) was really talking bad about Roy. He didn't mean it though, just playing around. I then waited in a long line for autographs, which I eventually got. There were a lot of people cosplaying, and I saw them in the halls and stuff, but I didn't see the actual show. The line was way too long. The AMV showing was cool though. The mtac dance was after the cosplay show, and it started at 12:30 am. I did not intend to dance at all, but these two girls pulled me out there and made me dance for a minute. I was just glad no one I knew saw me. Today, Sunday, was slow. A lot of people had left, so it wasn't near as crowded as Saturday was. It was still fun. I enjoyed the Writing for Manga panel. I went to a few panels, and I liked them all. I didn't see a lot of anime, but I saw some. I saw the anime Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ova on Sautrday, which was so awful it was funny. I saw the third Inuyasha movie today, and that was cool. Also, most of us in the mtsu anime club wore our club shirts, and people asked about them. People also took out flyers, so our club is getting known. We left around 4 pm, and here I am now. Too bad I have an exam tomorrow and Tuesday. This week is going to be a pain, but the weekend was worth it. I'm definately going again next year. As for now, I have to study for an exam, which I'll get to eventually. I put up one poster so far, and I hid my sword in my dorm. If you're wondering about pics, wait for a bit. I still have the disposable camera, so that means that it's not getting developed. I hope the pics turned out well. Well, that's all for now. Bye.

Well, the Time is Here

It's almost 5:45 am. In an hour, I'll be on my way to my first anime convention. It'll be awesome. I am so excited. I got up before the alarm and tried lying in bed. I then got up and showered. I had some strawberry applesause for breakfast. I going to be taking food, a shirt, toothbrush, and my ds. This is going to be great. As for yesterday, not much happened. My exam in history went well. That's pretty much it. I will go and get finished getting ready. I'll see you all on Sunday, or Monday since I usually post right after the day change. I will get disposable cameras and take pics, so you all will see soon. Bye.

Almost Time

It's almost time for the middle tennessee anime convention. I'm leaving Friday morning at 6:45 am, so I'll be getting up around 5 am to get ready and shower and all. I might take an extra shirt, and I might not since I'll probably buy one there. I saw the schedule, and a lot of cool stuff will be happening. There will be a panel on writing manga, and a live samurai combat. It'll be so cool. Ok, enough of that. In other news, not much. Class was ok today, on Wednesday. I did some work in the a/v lab because I won't be there on Friday. It is Wednesday night, so that means anime club. We saw Samurai Champloo, Ah My Goddess, Tsukuyomi Moon Phase, My Hime, and something else that I don't remember the name to. It was fun. As for Thursday, I have an exam in my US History II class. I'll start studying for it after this. Yes, I haven't started yet. I'll be ok. It's a good class. I guess that's all for now. Bye.

New Week

They put up the April anime conventions on myotaku, and the first one on the list is the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention, the one I'm going to Friday-Sunday. All three days. It'll be cool. Well, in other news, not much. It's still Monday for me. I went to class as usual. Tuesday, I'll go to class, as usual. I haven't really made much progress on my story since Saturday. I should work on it more. I can't really think of anything to say. Talk to you all later. Bye.
