It's Saturday Night

The day is almost over. I've been in my dorm for most of the day, aside for lunch and bathroom breaks. I pretty much finished a third of the first part of the story last night, which introduces the main characters. Two are indroduced, one is coming up in the current part. Today, I worked out mapping the world that it takes place in. Location names are hard. I think this first part of the story will be a chapter, divided into three parts. That would make one down and two to go. In other news, there isn't any news. I watched Toonami when they showed 21-25 of Star Wars: Clone Wars. That was good. Adult Swim was good too. Not really anything else happening. As for when I'll get my story up, I'm not sure I'll put it up here exactly. I'm thinking of getting a site, putting it there, and linking it. I'll definately tell you all where it's at if and when it gets put up. I guess that's all. Bye. By any chance, would anyone know a really good freesite?

I'm Actually Working on My Story

Still no freaken title though. Sure, I'm missing some minor stuff, such as location and character names, and then there's that whole trivial matter about having a title, but I think I'm far enough to start. Actually, I probably have been for a while now. Too bad I have no one to draw it. It'll just be in text for now. What all happened today? Not much, and that's a good thing. My first class didn't meet, so I got to sleep in until 8 or 9 am, when jackhammers and other construction equipment woke me up. I had lunch, and then I had my government and english classes. Work in the a/v lab was cancelled, so I was happy. My roommate went to Memphis for the weekend with some of his friends, so I have the room to myself. I've been listening to anime music a lot today. Watched some tv too. I guess not much else. I'll get going now. Talk to you all later. Bye

I Guess It's Friday

According to myOtaku, anyways. Still Thursday to me though. I still even have homework. It's not due until noon though. My first class for Friday isn't meeting, so I get to sleep in. Yay. That's the class I have the homework for. I'll do it soon. It won't take long, I hope. Also, in one week, on Apri 1st, I'm finally going to my first anime con. The Middle Tennessee Anime Convention is from Apri 1-3, and I'll be there for all three days. I'll be going with some club members, and we'll share a room. The bad thing is that we're leaving at 5 am on Friday morning. Yes, 5 am. I hope I can do it. It's way too early. Well, I guess that's all. Talk to you all later. Bye.

Been A Couple of Days

I didn't really have much to say, so I didn't post. Wednesday is now over. The anime club was today. We saw X TV, Naruto, Saikano, Ah My Goddess, and Samurai Champloo. It was cool. Also, I got to exchange my t-shirt. I accidently shrank it in the wash, and it went from XL to M. I got a new one, and I'll be sure not to shrink it, I hope. Class went ok. I turned in an essay in English, the one comparing American comic books with Japanese manga. I think I did ok. Tomorrow is Thursday. I do have a quiz, so I need to read tonight. Still, I get to sleep kinda late, so that's good. I guess that's pretty much all I've got to say for now. Bye.

Weekend is Over

Boo. Oh well. I haven't been at my best today. I've been stopped up in my head, and I've even coughed a little bit. I hope I'm not coming down with something, but it's looking like I am. I hope some sleep will do me some good, but it didn't seem to last night. I went to bed after the second showing of Fullmetal Alchemist. I didn't even watch GitS: SAC, but it'll be on Thursday. Not really anything else to say. I saw a help wanted ad for some of the food locations on campus. Call me crazy, but I'm actually considering it. I only have about a month and a half left of school, and I could use the cash. Well, I guess I'll get going. I have to work on an essay. Bye. EDIT: if you guys can think of some similarities between American comic books and Japanese manga, it would be really helpful for s springboard into my essays. Try not to be too obvious. I have most of the obvious ones.

All Day Anime

We had our all day anime day today. It was awesome. We watched a series called Phantom Memory Kurau. We only saw 13 episodes, and it has 24-26. It's good. We also saw the first episodes of Tokyo Mew Mew and the live action Sailor Moon. I had seen it before, and it's still bad, funny bad though. We also had Chinese food for lunch, and I made sure to bring home extra chop sticks. We watched anime from 10am to 8pm. It was great. We would have played some games, but we couldn't get them to work. Oh well. I would have went with some others to watch more, but my sinuses were really messing me up, so back to the dorm. At least there's Adult Swim and SNL here. It's amazing how much of an anime novice I feel like there. There's this one guy who has bookshelves of anime in his apartment. I've seen it. It almost makes you want to bow down and worship all of it. Well, I guess that's all for now. Bye.

A Boring Friday

Not much. My sinuses have been bothering me all day. I only had one class, which was good. It was pretty easy too. I also had to work at the a/v lab today, and for the most part, I just read the web comic Ctrl-Alt-Del. I'm up to 6 regular web comics: Megatokyo (of course) Applegeeks RealLifeComics Paradox Lost Ctrl-Alt-Del 8-bit theater I found this cool site a few weeks ago. It has a lot of anime songs. Given, it doesn't have all that I want, but it does have a fairly wide variety. I've been listening to two Cowboy Bebop songs lately, Ask DNA and Call Me Call Me. Pretty good. Well, Saturday is the all day anime day. I'm going to like it. I think we're just sticking to one series, but we'll be watching the whole series. I guess that's pretty much it. Can't think of anything else to say. Bye.

Happy Late St Patty's Day

I didn't say it in my last post, but in my last post, I was still on Wednesday. Well, my day was ok. Class was ok. The rest of the day was pretty boring. I've been reading some Love Hina that some guy put up on the network. It's good. I also listened to some Cowboy Bebop songs online. That's pretty much it. Not much else to talk about. Tomorrow, I just have one class. Too bad it's my earliest class of the day, at 9:10. It's still not that bad. Then, on Saturday, it's the all day anime day with the anime club. Well, that's all. Wednesday is over

Class was ok. The anime club was today. Yay. We watched Tsukuyomi Moon Phase, Ah My Goddess, Samurai Champloo, E's Otherwise, and something else that I forgot the title to. It was cool. On Saturday, we have out all day anime day. It's from 10 am to 8 pm, I think. 10 am is early for a Saturday, but oh well. Plus, I read some Love Hina online. It was ok. I guess that's pretty much all I've got to say. I have some bio work to do. It won't take to long. Bye.
