Sorry
I know I didn't visit your sites. Sorry about that. I was a little preoccupied, but when I get my own tv up here, I won't miss out on myotaku while watching tv.
Well, as for Tuesday, it was ok. I went to all three of my classes. Algebra wasn't too bad. Psychology was huge, and I mean it. The class was in one of those big lecture rooms with a couple hundred students. That was nuts. Then, I had my University Seminar class. It's basically just a class to get you adjusted to college life, so it shouldn't be too hard. Afterwards, I ate lunch, went to buy my dad a birthday present, and took a nap. Not much else. When I went to dinner, I brought a plastic bag so that I could sneak up a sandwich and put it into the fridge. We then had a floor meeting where everyone had to sign a contract with their roommates. It was about dealing with problems that may arrise. My roommate and I didn't really care about what the other did, so it wasn't that hard. After that, I went down to the lobby and watched some tv. That's my night. See you all later. Bye. |

First Day is Over
My first day of classes is over. Today, I had Fundamentals of Communications, US History, and Philosophy. So far, US History looks like it'll be the most written work, but it's not too bad. Fundamentals of Communications is basically a class on giving speeches. That one was first, at 9:10 AM. After my US History class ended at around 11:10 AM, I had an hour and a half break until Philosophy, so I ate lunch. Philosophy ended at 1:35 PM. I ran some erands, but that's about it.
Tuesday, as well as Thursday, I'll have Algebra, Psychology, and University Seminar. Algebra starts at 8 AM, and University Seminar ends at 12:45 PM, so that's how long my school day looks. Right now, I have an eighteen hour week, which means that MWF classes are an hour long, and T and TH classes are an hour and a half long. 18 hours is actually kinda a lot around here. I have one more class then many. I have about two weeks for me to drop one without it affecting my grade. So far, it looks like that if I drop one, it'll be algebra. Still, I'll wait and see how the workload is. I might actually prefer algebra to other classes, which is highly unlikely, but it can happen. That's it for now. Bye. |

I'm Missing Adult Swim
My roommate moved in Friday, but it was just before I was leaving to spend the night at my mom's place. I got laundry done and brought a microwave. My roommate has a fridge, so now, all we need is a TV. I will get a TV, one way or another. Also, while at my mom's, she remarkably found an ethernet cable. Actually, she found 2. She didn't know what it was, but I did. She let me have it, and now I can get online without using the phone line. Plus, everything loads quicker now, which is cool. Still, I'm missing Adult Swim, but I did find a close comic book store. They didn't have Trigun Maximum vol 2, but I did get some American comics. The good thing is that it's less of a rind on my bike than the place I used to go was from my home. It's not far at all. Plus, I got a phone. Now, I can call people and be online at the same time. I know some of you could already do that, but I was stuck with dial up, so it's good now. Now if only I can get my cd drive fixed. One last thing. College cafeteria food is miles above high school cafeteria food. That's it for now. Bye. |

Well, Here I Am
I'm in my dorm room, finally posting again. I moved in on Tuesday, got situated, went to a special dinner where I met my classmates in the same special class I'm in, and played some party games. I then came back to my dorm room and slept. No room mate, so I was alone in this freezing room.
Wednesday, I went to the breakfast we were having, and then the classmates and I took out bags and sleeping bags to the camp site. It was a long walk from this barn that was kinda the center for the activities, and it was muddy. We then set up our tents and did some activities. We did some contests, some of which I got shaving cream all in my hair and crackers stuffed in my mouth. We went back to college to eat dinner and to shower because we really needed both, and then went back to the camp site. We played games, ate smores, and stayed awake for a while. The tents were kinda crowded, and I woke up a few times.
Thursday, we got up and put up the tents. We walked to the barn and ate. One down side to the camping was that the port-a-poties were all the way towards the barn, which was a long walk from camp. Luckily, there were trees around for us guys. Well, after breakfast, we did there high rope activities. The first one, I climbed this rope ladder, which I was told I did very quickly, walked a rope bridge about 15 ft high, walked on this wire while holding ropes, and jumped to hit a knot hanging. We were harnessed the whole time, so we weren't in any danger. The next one, I was strapped up to a harness and two wires as everyone ran, pulling the other ends of the wires. The wires ran up between these telephone poles and were in some pulleys so that they could pull and I would go straight up. I went up a couple of times, the highest of which was about 50 ft. That was fun. Then, we ate lunch and preformed soem skits. We came back to the campus to shower and do whatever we wanted I guess. I figures out how to finally get online. I tried before, but it turns out that I have to dial 9 to get out, so I adjusted the settings. I need to get and ethernet cable, but I'll use the phone line for now. My room mate still hasn't arrived, so I'm all alone.
Well, that's it. I guess I'll post later. Classes don't start until Monday, so that's the day to dread. Bye for now. |

Today's the Day
After I go to sleep, wake up, and get a bit more ready, I'm off to college. I'll be offline for a day or two because I'll be doing this camping thing for one of my classes. It's to get to know everyone better. I know I'm overpacking, but this way, I'll know what not to bring next time. Tis better to overpack than underpack. I don't even have a box to put my printer in. I'll have my bike there, as well as my license which will probably rarely be used. I'll also have my ATM card. I'll use the ATM there to put money from my savings into my checking account. I'll then have to buy books. I think I'll like my room better once I move out. There will be less stuff in it. I was going through my room to get to the bathroom, and I tripped over and landed on my trunk. It didn't really hurt since I had some clothes on it.
Well, this may be my last post until Thursday. I may post later when I get there. I'll see if I have time. Obviously, since I'm on my laptop, I'm not done packing, but it's not like I have that much to pack. Also, that book I had to read, I still haven't finished it. It's only over 200 pages. I waited too long and only read like around 10 pages a night. It's not like I'm a slow reader. It's just that if I'm not into the book, I waste time when I'm supposed to be reading it. Oh well. It's an ok book, but it's not something that makes me really want to see what happens next. That's it for now. If I don't visit many of your sites, blame college. You know I will. Bye. |

A Miricle
Somehow, someway, I passed the test and got my license. After taking a nap while waiting, the guy called me up. After checking the break lights and turn signals, we went off. He said the test would be about 10-15 minutes. It wasn't even 10. We went out of the parking lot, got on this busy road, turned on this less busy road that cicles back to the parking lot, and parked. That was it. I picture is nicer in this one too. I was nervious the entire time, and I was going below the limit. Either someone up there likes me or doesn't like the other drivers on the road. |

My Last Summer Weekend is Gone
My dad made me drive more today. He made me drive all the way to the DMV parking lot to practice parking. For those of you who say driving isn't hard, you don't know me. I sucked at parking. If there were any cars there, I would have smashed them badly. I think my dad was actually surprised at how bad I was doing. I wasn't. I kept thinking "I told you so." After that, we came home and ate. If he wakes me up real early tomorrow to go to the DMV, I'll fall asleep there like I did when I went to get my permit. Well, I guess that's it for this weekend. I'll be at college for my next weekend. Is it just me, or is college depressing? I think it's just school overall. |

Overpacking
I feel like I'm packing a lot more than I'll need. I doubt I'll use most of it. We went to K-Mart today and got a trunk. We bought a lock for it, but the lock we bought is too small. That kinda defeats the purpose of the trunk. We'll have to get a new lock. I'll use it to lock up important stuff, like checks and my laptop. I had to drive to K-Mart. I hated it. I also found out that I'll be taking the driving test. My dad told me that he didn't pass his first time. Somehow, I'm not too surprised. That's all for now. I'll get going. Bye again. |

Got Some Supplies
Today, my dad and stepmom took me out to go get some stuff like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other toiletries. We also got ink for my printer. I got some new glasses too. They're a bit different than my old ones. The prescription in the left lens is stronger, so it's kinda weird. These come with some custom clip-on sunclasses. They match the frame and clip on with a magnet. I needed some new sungasses. Also, we activated my atm card. There's only just under $200 in it, but that's because I haven't switched it all from my savings.
I mowed the yard too. That should be my last time in a while. After that, it was Toonami time. Then, Adult Swim time. Cowboy Bebop is on now. I saw Wolf's Rain. That was one big walrus. They should be full for quite a while.
Well, I'm mostly packed. I don't even know if I'll use all the stuff that I packed. I'll be fine though, supply wise. As for Sunday, I have no idea what I'll be doing. For Monday, my dad was talking about taking me to the DMV. I doubt it's for my licence. I'll just probably get another permit. Oh well. It's not like I like driving. I'll be using my bike on campus. I hope the closest comic book shop is within biking range. I guess that's all for now. Bye. |

Did More Packing
My stepmom stayed home today, so I didn't have to wash the dishes or make tea. It rained, so I didn't mow the yard. I mostly packed some. Most of my clothes are packed up. Basically, all that I need to pack now are linens, toiletries, printer, scanner, and obviously, my laptop. This may very well be one of the last things I pack. I also cleaned off my desk. Trust me, that's a hard task. I threw most of the junk on it away. Trust me, there was a lot of junk, both inside the desk and on it.I actually think under my bed will be easier. There are mostly old shoes from years ago under there. It won't be too hard.
Saturday, I'll be going shopping for a few more supplies. Also, I got my ATM card, and my stepmom will show me how to use it when I go activate it. I'll be able to buy stuff online, so yay. Ebay, here I come, well, after I buy my school supplies first.
I see many people asking about my story. Technically, I don't write mangas because I haven't written it yet. I'm still in the development stages. I wrote a pilot on here a few months ago, so you new people would have to go into the archive to find it. It has no name, so sorry if that would help. I'm still working on that. Names are the hardest part. I'll tell you all more about it later. I'll try to talk about it before going to college. Well, I guess that's it for now. Bye. |
