Beyond the Looking Glass
The looking class is dirty.
I cannot see at all,
But I am afraid to go past it
Where I may just fall.
My time is short here.
I do not have long to stay.
I must go beyond the glass.
I must see the light of day.
I must break through the glass,
But it will cause many cuts.
The world is scary beyond it.
The people out there must be nuts.
It is safe on this side,
But it will not be forever.
Still, I can’t suck up my fear
And go out on this endeavor.
The days keep going on and on,
But I do not wish to go with them.
I want to see beyond the looking glass,
But the glass is dirty and the light is dim.
An unknown world lies where I can’t see,
And I just want it all to pass.
It would be easier if I could see
My future beyond the looking glass.

It's Still Friday
In the car today, I looked at the car next to me. There was an Inuyasha plush doll stuck on the window with a suction cup. I thought that was cool.
The talent day was cool. It was mostly dancing, singing, and instrument playing. A class mate of mine did an Irish step dance, and some other class mates of mine played drums and cymbols. It was good, and I got out of math. Yay.
Biology sucked. We've been having these evaluations to prepare us for our exams. We got the grades back for all but the last one we took. When all averaged together, I don't think anyone passed. My class has most of the top 10 students in there, including the class valedictorian (me). That's not a good sign. I'm sure our program coordinator won't stand for this, so there's not much to worry about.
My graduation party that my parents are throwing is tomorrow. I'm not sure, but I think most of my classmates can't come. That sucks because if they don't come, it'll be just me and a lot of adults. I'll be bored out of my skull. I'll email my classmates to double check.
One last thing. My mom and step mom are moving into a new house that had a big shed in the back that could be made so that someone could live in it. I'm thinking about either living in that or a dorm. I'd get about the same privacy, but the shed is near a pool, which is also at the house. Plus, I could save money on food and such. What's your opinion? |

Well, it's still an hour away for me, but the board is an hour ahead.
I found this cool site.
http://www.guessthename.com/
It works too. You think of a name of a movie or a show, and it asks you questions. You answer yes or no, and eventually it gets your movie. I chose Inuyasha, Gundam Wing, Spider-Man the movie, and The Shawshank Redemption. The Shawshank Redemption took the longest, but it guessed it, as it did with the others. Try it out.
I guess I'll work on my art. I got the pose I want. Now I need to start on the actual drawing now.
Well, for the last day of our senior week, we're having a talent show. I get out of math, which is good. I'm not in the show. My class wanted me to sing in their band. I got out of it luckily. I have no idea why they wanted me to sing other than them saying that it would be funny. They've never even heard me sing.
Well, that's enough for now. See you soon.
Edit: My legs are kind of sore from all that ice skating I did. Oh well. It was worth it. |

I Racked Them Up
The awards, that is. I got three medals, a President's Education Award, an award for the Marines (why, I do not know), and a trophy. The trophy and one medal was for being valedictorian, and people kept congradulating me. It was kind of flattering and embarassing at the same time. Oh well.
I stayed after for a practice math test today. I didn't finish, but I think I did ok. Some of it was easy, and some wasn't. I also had this bio test that I basically winged my way though. I knew some of it, but most of it was labeling, and I guessed on most of it. I'm not worried. What are they going to do? Take my trophy away?
I'll work on my art today. I need to find a pose. I find that I can't really do views from an angle too well. I need up front pics. I can kind of do those. Then again, I rather write. I just need to learn exactly how to do that right. Writing the story is easy. Writing it in comic form with panel placement, as well as having exactly what to write in my head, is the hard part.
Last night, the headphones I got for my birthday snapped in two. They can fold up in the middle, and that's where they snapped. I knew it would happen. I super glued it with a sparkly blue glue stick. It appears fine now.
That's it for now. See you all soon. |

Thursday Morning
Today for my senior week, we have awards day. I hope it lasts all of my second class. That's Spanish, and I don't like that class. I don't care for the teacher, and I'm just not learning. I also hope I don't fall asleep. It would be bad if I did that and my name was called.
I kind of started on the drawing. I've been doing complex stick figures in order to see what post I want. I'll try to do more today.
I have to stay after school to complete a practice test. It's suppode to take all of my second class and more, so that's why. I hope I finish soon so I won't miss my bus. Otherwise, I might not get a ride, and that would really suck. Plus, I hope my math isn't as rusty as it has been all semester. I didn't have math last semester, so I got a little rusty in that time. I'll just have to see what happens.
Well, that's it for now. It's morning and I have to get to school. Bye. |

myotaku's backroom looks good
Although I don't see the jukebox, and I miss the blue.
I still haven't gotten around to that drawing, but I will. It's been a busy day.
Today, I got out of school, as well as 200 other seniors. We went to this place where many of us, including me, ice skated. It has been years since I've done it, and I only fell twice. Still, those skates hurt my feet. Then we went outside and grilled out. I ate a lot, so I didn't play dodgeball with some of the others. Still, it was fun. The important part is that I got out of most of school. I didn't even take my backpack. It was good.
As for the people who like the plot, thanks. Simple is a good way to start. I don't want to get too fat ahead of myself after all.
That's it for now. I'm going to go get some tea. Bye. |

I've Fixed It
I got the Japanese font now. Someone showed me where it was on the Microsoft website. It's cool since now I can see Japanese symbols.
I think I'm actually going to start some new art now. I actually should be doing work, but it's late and I hate homework. I think I'll try an action shot of my main character. Thanks to Angel Raziel saying that I have potential, I think I'll test that out and really try.
Or, and ForlornHope asked about the manga I'm trying to work on. I have the character's look basically down, as well as the what the main quest is towards. It's your basic evil-powerful-dictator-trying-to-take-over-the-world story. Think Inuyasha. The good guys will be in a group traveling together, 3 guys (main character, 2 demons) and 2 girls (both humans). Both the main character and the antagonist will be kind of half demons, but (here's the twist) neither was born that way. The antagonist wants to create equality betwee humans and demons, all under his rule. Obviously, the goo guys want to stop him. They have their own reasons for doing it as well. There are demons that have powers based on elements, with defferent demons weak and strong against different elements. There are humans who can master magic scrolls written in demon blood able to ward off demons, create barriers, and even summon elemental attacts. That's the basic plot. I told you it's not much now. Seems pretty basic, but it is a work in progress after all.
Ok. That's enough for now. Good night/morning everyone. |

Tuesday Morning
I should get around to drawing more character designs. Sure, I don't plan to draw my comic, but I do want to have a basic idea of what the characters look like. I just don't get much peace and quiet to do so.
I also need some new manga. I've read the two Inuyasha volumes and the Ruoruni Kenshin volume I have many times. Sure, they're good and I can read them many times more. Still, some new stuff would be cool.
I'm going to a Senior breakfast today. I, being a senior, get out of class. That's always a plus. I guess that's it for now. I'll type to you all again. |
