Over 900

I looked at my site, making it 901 visits. Just 99 to go until I get the 4 digits. I've been playing around with my sword. I'm holding it right now. I won't cut myself. I have at least the skill to not do that. Tomorrow night, I am going to a dinner that celebrates all the seniors in the program that I'm in, which is only 11. I don't really like to make a big fuss over all of it, but there's free food, so I'm there. The bad thing is that we all have to write something to our parents. Luckily, we don't have to say it out loud like we did with the teachers. Still, my dad and stepmom have been getting on my nerves with all their griping, getting upset with me, and forcing me to get a job and all that. You can look in the Archives for more info on that. Well, my mom is ok. I have no problems with her, but she may not be able to come, so I have to write something for my dad and stepmom. This sucks. I'll have to write it tonight. I missed going to the comic store today, when new comics come out. I'll have to go tomorrow. I hope they still have that Kenshin manga I saw last time. I've read my vol 1 of Kenshin many times now. I'll watch my Kenshin DVD later if I have a chance. Stupid Cartoon Network for taking it away. Don't they know how cheap I am? When will Quizilla fix their pics already?

I Procrastinate

I keep that no secret. It's around 12:30 AM and I'm doing homework of course. I think I wouldn't procrastinate as much if Adult Swim wasn't on. Of course, they just had to run Trigun last. Well, I'll stay up and watch it. I've got less than a month left of school, so this won't bother me. Only the mornings will. The block that took Toonami's place sucks. Teen Titans is ok, but I've seen them all. TMNT pales in comparison to the older episodes. They're just trying too hard. I don't care for the other shows. Toonami was getting bad by getting rid of their best shows, but I miss it. Not only that, but they took my Kenshin. I wanted to beat them senseless after taking it off of weekdays, but now I don't know what. Oh well, if I get a job at Suncoast, I can get the DVDs and the manga with a discount. If not, I'll still buy them. I really don't have much to talk about. Since Trigun is on and I have homework, I'll go now and save a rant or gripe for later. Bye.

Here's a poem that I made a few days ago. The Wanderer I am a wanderer that I am. I do not wander streets. I instead wander about the inner depths of my own mind, Searching for my path, my destiny. I’ve been searching for so long. I grow weary and weathered. Looking for my future may be destroying my present, But I must keep on. I must find my place in this world. I feel lost. I’ve traveled many roads, Finding nothing for me on any. There are few left to explore. There is little left, but I cannot stop. Not now. Not ever. I am a but a simple man. I do not want riches or fame. I just want to do what others cannot for they are bound By this reality, but I fear I am as well. I feel that there is a place for me, That I’m not meant for some mundane existence In this society, in this world. My road is out there, waiting for me to find it. No one can help. I must do this myself. It is my path, my destiny, my future alone. Anyone else would just cloud my vision. I will find my way. I do not care if it takes forever. I will do find my true path to follow, And if I am meant to be a wanderer all my life, So be it. I’ve had plenty of practice.

Sunday and the Rest of the Weekend

My birthdays last for days at a time. I think it ended today. I had a family get-together at my aunt's house today. I saw my aunts, my cousins, and my sister who lives with her dad. My sister gave me some squishy football and a hotwheels car for some reason. My aunt gave me $60, which is far more useful. It was today, but I spent the night last night. I didn't want to. I didn't feel like hanging out with them that night. It may sound mean, but I like my alone time. Still, I got talked, or whined, into going. I still spent most of the time last night alone reading vol 1 of the Rurouni Kenshin manga and watching The Animatrix. Today I saw both LotR movies currently out on video. Now about Saturday, I had to mow the neighbor's yard. My friend and I borrowed a lawn mower, so we used that one and mine to mow much faster. My dad took me to go job hunting. As I went to get applications, I bought Rurouni Kenshin vol 1 manga and Rurouni Kenshin: Legend of Kyoto DVD, the one where he beats Shishio. I've now read and watched both. And finally, all the way back to Friday. My mom bought me the Kill Bill vol 1 DVD for my birthday. It's great. There's blood everywhere and then some, but that's not what I like about it. I like the sword fights and the story itself. Plus, it had some funny moments. It was good. And back to now. I should get to homework, but it's not even 8:00 PM yet, so I probably won't start for a few hours. I really should take a shower, so I'll get on that. Bye.

Not Too Bad

Ok, it's not a reverse blade katana, but it's close. I got a sword. It's not katana-lenght, but it's still good. Besides, I still have my bokken that I can still practice with. I also got some headphones, which I really needed. I've yet to get everything, but it's still pretty good. Oh, and my parents are spendng a lot for that graduation party. They'll have a snow cone machine, pop corn popper, hot dog warmer, and mini golf. Sounds cool. I'm not as depressed. Plus, I'll show off my sword. Well, that's it for now.

My Birthday

Yep. It's now April 15th, my birthday. I'm now 18 years old. What am I getting? I don't know. Cash mostly, but I didn't know what to ask for. I tried telling my dad to get me a reverse blade katana when he asked me what I wanted. Of course, he said no. Sure, I have some nunchakus, which happen to be illegal where I'm at, but I can't have a sword. I'll probably save most of the cash while using some to get some comics/manga/anime and a new pair of headphones. The only real present I truly wanted, other than the sword, is one I didn't get. No. Appearently a snow day is too much to ask for. Next thing you know, being transported to an alternate world that is like an action/adventure/drama anime. I'll never get what I want. Oh well. I guess that's enough for now. Bye.

Should I Go...

...to my prom? I didn't go last year. I don't want to go this year, but everyone tells me that I should. Reasons I don't want to go: -I don't dance -I don't like big, fancy parties -I don't want to pay $50 to go -I don't want to rent a tux -I don't want to go without a date, but I don't feel strong enough about anyone to go with.
