I Want Sleep...And $50
Today, I had class. Yay? It was ok. I also had a meeting with someone in the Journalism department. I think my major will fall in the Mass Comm direction.
Anime club was good, even if the sound didn't work at first. We saw some funny shows, and a lot of us played Animal Crossing on our DSs during the meetings. Then, the hangout at Cyber. I stayed for 4 hours, all the way until 1am. It was fun. As usual, I walked around a lot, butting into various other conversations. Sometimes, I don't feel a part of a conversation, so I go around to see what others are talking about. Other times, I'm being groped by certain guys and girls. It's amazing that it happens. I don't quite understand why I'm the club target, but I appearently draw attention away from some of the shyer guys in the club, so I guess it's good for them that I'm the target and not them. It was fun hanging out, as usual.
Homework-wise, I did my Japanese workbook before club. My Experiences of Lit, however, I didn't. I shall buckle down and do it tomorrow, and I'll probably skip US History on Friday so I can sleep in.
I guess that's all. Everyone have a nice day/night and have fun commenting |

Pi Day is Over
Today was ok. I loved my Experiences of Lit class when we pretty much just went over Seinfeld. I freaken love that class. Awesome teacher. Japanese was kinda boring though. Anthropology was cool in that we got out of class for a lecture on ruins in Scotland.
The anime club bake sale kinda bombed. The cake made for it kinda sucked. We made $19.75, so I guess it's time for a spending spree.
Speaking of the club, the committee meeting was fun. Didn't go over too much important stuff. We did get committee member photos taken at the cyber cafe. That was fun.
Tomorrow, I have a meeting with some spokesman in the journalism department. My career councilor set it up. Yeah, I've been meeting with a carreer counciler. The area I'm leaning towards seems to be in some written applied arts or something. I'm not exactly sure what. The guy has been trying to think how my interest of comics and anime can fit into a field. He went into how he's heard of adult-oriented anime, trying to fathom how people could be interested in it. He didn't seem disgusted, just that he didn't understand. I just nodded and so forth, not mentioning that I could suggest a few titles and even describe them if he wanted. It was rather funny to me.
That's all. About time for me to sleep. Stupid 8am class tomorrow. Talk to you all later. Have fun commenting.

One Paper Down
Yay! I did my paper! Two hours in the library reading. One hour doing the paper. I'll print it up tomorrow before class and turn it in. Working this quick at the last minute, feels just like high school again.
Also, saw more people back on campus. It was nice hanging out with a bunch of friends while procrastinating on my paper.
Just one paper and a chapter in a workbook to go, all due Thursday. Shouldn't be a problem...I hope. |

Spring Break Report
Well, I'm back from a week-long absense. Here's the report.
Last weekend - I went to the mall in the home area. I got a Teen Titans/Outsiders book and a Faye Valentine figure. Also saw the Oscars. Jon Stewart did a good job hosting.
Monday - Went to the dermatologist. He gave me some medication for acne. It's kinda annoying to keep up with.
Tuesday-Thursday - Stayed home and was lazy. I finished watching Angelic Layer and Onegai Teacher. Both good series. Also saw the movie Walk the Line. Good too.
Friday - Went to a local store where I bought The Complete Frank Miller Batman. Good read. Then packed to get ready for going back to campus.
Saturday - I helped my aunt move a washer and dryer. Then, I went to an MTAC volunteer meeting where I saw some college friends. We hung out at a mall and then came back to campus. I hung out for some more and then came here, where I'm not posting.
That's it. That sums it all up. Tomorrow, Sunday, I'll hang out more and eventually work on a two-page paper on a book I do not have. Fun. I guess that's all. Have fun commenting. |

Goin' Home for a Week
Alright, here's the latest news.
I know I haven't commented as much on your sites as I should. It's hard keeping up with three regularly updated blog sites in addition to class and hanging out with friends. I'll work something out on that, so don't worry.
I leave to go home for spring break on Friday, meaning today. If my dad's plans worked out, there is now Comcast High Speed Internet awaiting me. Yay, you would think, but honestly, I like their computer less than my laptop. I'll be online though, and I'll see about downloading a lot of stuff.
Spring break, I'll probably be working with my dad in order to get some cash for MTAC. I'll hopefully return to campus on March 11th. The week after that shall be hell. I have two papers and a bunch of workbook papers to do. I might be able to do some stuff at home, so it won't be all bad. Although, I shall be distracted by my Onegai Teacher DVDs and my Angelic Layer box set (yayness).
That's all for now, I guess. I'll get back to you all later. Have fun commenting. |

I...Can't...Breathe...
My sinuses have been screwed up Wednesday, and now even today. It's been rather annoying.
Anime club was fun. Watched great series, including finishing Paradise Kiss. Great show. I want to read the manga as well. I need time to sit in a Walden or a Books-a-Million.
Hanging out at Cyber was good too, but a couple of people were smoking, which I hate, especially when my sinuses are screwed up and that worsens the problem, so I left.
Now, it's Thursday. I woke up, unable to breathe out of my nose, and the water in the shower wasn't hot T_T. I also have an exam in Anthropology. This is not looking like a good day. I hope it improves. Well, have a nice day and have fun commenting. |

Sleepy
Weekend is over.
Saturday, I gamed all day at the All Day Anime Day, losing in Starfox 64. Great game though. Also played my Animal Crossing on my DS. Also a great game. Too bad I had to work the dorm desk at 3am-4am. I was not fully awake for that.
Today, more gaming with Super Smash Bros Melee with a friend and watching another friend beat Shadow of the Colossus, both good games.
Tomorrow (monday), class, so I must sleep. Night, and have fun commenting. |

Paychecks, SSBM, and Anime
Ah, the weekend is upon us.
Thursday was cool. I practiced Starfox 64 and Super Smash Bros Melee for a gaming tournament in the club on Saturday. I learned some tips in SSBM, and I learned to pray in Starfox multiplayer.
Friday, which it still is for me, was cool. I picked up some checks for working at the dorm desk, over $40, so yay. I also watched Golden Boy and Tenchi Muyo GXP with some friends, as well as Mushishi on my own. That was cool.
After online time, I'll shower and get ready for bed. Got an All Day Anime Day tomorrow. I'll talk to you all later. Have fun commenting. |

Climbing Over Humpday
Well, just made it over the hump that is Wednesday. It's been a good week thus far.
Monday, I went to Books-A-Million and got New Avengers vol 2 and DearS vol 5, as well as reading plenty of other stuff, mostly Kenshin and some DC stuff.
Tuesday, watched Dom, the editor of Megatokyo, on Jeopardy. He got second, which isn't bad. Good for him. Also had a productive Anime Club committee meeting in which we discussed some stuff I've basically been sworn to keep quiet about.
Wednesday, the greatness of Anime Club. We watched the Hellsing OVA, Ergo Proxy, Da Capo, Paradise Kiss, and Trinity Blood. We just have one more episode of Paradise Kiss to go. Good series too. Hope the ending goes well. Then, Cyber Cafe hangout as usual. It was an...interesting night. There was a girl sitting on my lap a lot, which I wasn't exactly sure what to think about that, so I tried to carry on as usual. A fun night though. I got in after 1am and just went to sleep after putting up next week's suggestion thread on the anime club forums.
It's not Thursday. My Experiences of Lit class was fun. We went over Oedipus Rex, which I've read plenty of times in high school. I almost wish I had my copy here with me. Right now, I'm working on this post for here and my various other blogs. Then, more online stuff, lunch, and Japanese. Anthropology is cancelled, so I've scheduled a meeting with my academic advisor to see if this will help me choose a major. I'm not expecting all that much from it though, but I'll see.
That's all for now. Have a good day and have fun commenting. |
