Not a Bad Day
Anyone notice my shout box above? Well, I've noticed that it hasn't been there in the mornings when I get onling before I go to school. Does it not just show up, or does my computer load slowly in the mornings? Oh well.
I got out of school early at 10:30. Well, actually it was closer to 11:00 because my bus was late. It was snowing. It was snowing a lot, at first. It stopped and started and stopped. It's an endless cycle. It didn't stick much, and the sun melted most of it. I haven't noticed anything that would have made us get out, but far be it from me to argue with the school board when they decide to let us out for a snow day.
I went to my mom's house after school. I had plenty of time before I was to go to my dad's house, so I tried to watch The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I say tried because I fell asleep. Well, I got a nap, so I won't complain.
I don't have much work due to me missing some of my classes. I turned in some college applications. Today is a good day, so far. One can never tell what the future will bring. I just hope it will be good. Bye for now. |

Tuesday
Well, Monday is over. I stayed up until around 2:00 AM finishing English that I couldn't do when my dad had me fill out college applications to Sewanee and Vanderbilt. At least I had someone to talk to. A class mate and I argued on MSN Messenger about the book we have been reading in English. Suddenly, I realized we were having a debate over a book we're reading for school on our off time at 1:00 in the morning at our homes. That was creepy. That's basically it. That, and I downloaded some more anime music videos. It takes a while since I have a slow connection. Well, hopefully I'll have more to report on later. Bye. |

After School
I got lucky. We didn't do that presentation today in Spanish. I was so relieved.
However, as I mentioned in an earlier post, my dad and stepmom one $7000 in the lotto. Well, they had their picture in the paper, along with my senior photo so that I would be included even though I was in school. I was surprised they didn't announce it over the intercom. So many people were congratulating me, even though I wasn't the one who won anything. I was kind of embarrasing.
Well, I don't have much work, except in English. Plus, I have to finish some college applications today. I'm sure I'll get to that much later, being the master procrastinator that I am. Well, that's it for now. Later. |

Monday
Have I ever said I hate Mondays? Well, I don't hate Mondays, just the first day of school for the week. I spent so much time last night looking for a topic relating to Latin America so that I can talk about it in Spanish, but I couldn't think of a thing. I was originally going to do it on Spider-Man. That would have actually been fun (something that I don't use to describe Spanish), but then my teacher says that it has to relate to Latin America. That sucks. Now I can't think of a good topic. I just picked some news article from Yahoo news. This is really going to suck. I'm in Spanish 6, and I can still hardly speak it.
I also have US History, English, Biology, and Math. I can survive those, but Spanish is the real problem. I mean, I shouldn't have these problems. I've got the highest GPA in my class (how, I'll never know). I've been taking Spanish since Freshman year. First, it was a different Spanish each semester. Then, they changed it to a year. Plus, it's IB Spanish. For thos of you who don't know, IB (International Baccaluarate) is a really hard program that is supposedly equal to or higher than AP. The work is just plain awful and long. Four years of this crap. I just can't wait until I graduate, except that I haven't picked a college and I'm running out of time for that. I just want everyone to leave me alone for a week or more so that I can do some soul searching to find out what I'm suppose to do with my life. My future is dark and foggy, and my headlights went out a few miles back.
Well, there's that rant. I'm sure there'll be one tomorrow or even later today. Bye. |

Yet Again More Quiz Results
Don't you just love these quizzes. They're a great way to pass the time, and some are actually true. Here's some:
Imagination
What Kanji word best suits you? brought to you by Quizilla
You are one of the few out there whose wings are truly ANGELIC. Selfless, powerful, and divine, you are one blessed with a certain cosmic grace. You are unequalled in peacefulness, love, and beauty. As a Being of Light your wings are massive and a soft white or silver. Countless feathers grace them and radiate the light within you for all the world to see. You are a defender, protector, and caretaker. Comforter of the weak and forgiver of the wrong, chances are you are taken advantage of once in awhile, maybe quite often. But your innocence and wisdom sees the good in everyone and so this mistreatment does not make you colder. Merciful to the extreme, you will try to help misguided souls find themselves and peace. However not all Angelics allow themselves to be gotten the better of - the Seraphim for example will be driven to fighting for the sake of Justice and protection of those less powerful. Congratulations - and don't ever change - the world needs more people like you.
*~*~*Claim Your Wings - Pics and Long Answers*~*~* brought to you by Quizilla
You came from heaven. Your gole in life is to help others and to make the world a better place. Some call you weak, but in reality your soul is very strong. If only more people were like you...
Where did you come from? brought to you by Quizilla
Ghost or spirit: You are a lost soul. Very calm and sweet, you are often the one who asks: What if? With a clever mind, you want to explore the world on a different level. Without the answers, you aren't ready to move on. You are most likely very creative and find yourself thinking things through on a different level. (please rate my quiz)
**Where will you go when you die?**(now with pics) brought to you by Quizilla
Dark magician. You love the dark because of it's beauty and just the life that no-one else sees. Mysterious, calm, quiet... But that doesn't mean you're not friendly!
Please rate ^^
What kind of dark person are you? brought to you by Quizilla
Air, wind, atmosphere... you are a cloud dweller. You are friendly to all, but often appear disinterested and lost in your thoughts, meaning most people don't really know your full potential.
Which Other World Are You Secretly From? brought to you by Quizilla
You are Blue.
Overall you're a pretty content person. At peace with yourself, you don't tend to over react. Although at times you can be quite harsh and cold towards others.

Bed Time Gripe
My dad came in my room at about 1:00 AM (it's nearly 1:30 AM now)and asked me if I should be asleep. I said no. Then he asked if I have a clock. I refered him to my digital clock, my clock on my laptop, and my two watches somewhere on my desk. He said that he doesn't like dragging me out of bed at 10:00 AM in the morning. Well, guess what. I don't like it either. It's not like I ask him too. I get up at 5:30 AM on weekdays, which is earlier than him or my stepmom. I think I deserve to sleep in. Besides, I told him that this is how I work, that I sleep late and stay up late. Night is my best time and when my brain is working at its best. He then tells me that I'd better change because that's not how the real world works. I didn't say these to him, but I have some arguements for that:
1. I'm 17. It's a little late for changing my sleeping schedule. Let nature do that for me. I'm fine the way it is.
2. It's not like I'm staying that much later than weekdays. I usually don't get to sleep until about 1 or 2 in the morning due to homework (I procrastinate, but then again, every genious procrastinates. It's our defining feature.)
3. I never asked him to wake me up in the first place.
4. What's so good about the real world anyways? Maybe it's about time it changed.
Well, that's just my gripe for now. Be sure to expect more because this one is definately not the last. Go ahead and comment. See you later. |

YAY!
Remember my rant about how some downloads from kazaa frozy my laptop. Well, now I fixed it. I've been watching part of one of the Samurai X movies and a couple of X-Men episodes. Nothing happened, other than my enjoyment of watching non-freezing movies. I'm now offically in a good mood. |

TGIF
I love Fridays. I get to stay up late without my homework being an excuse to do so. Plus, I can put off my work until Sunday.
Well, kazaa isn't all bad. Sure, some of the things I've downloaded have either frozen or restarted my computer, but not everything. Case in point, a anime music video I downloaded. I love these things. This one is a Gundam Wing video of 3 Doors Down's Kryptonite. It's good. It features Heero and Relena and covers scenes from episode 1 to Endless Waltz.
I got a teacher recomendation for college applications. The teacher said a lot of nice things about me, and I akmost laughed because I didn't think I was that good.
Well, the weekend is here. It's a shame that Adult Swim isn't on Fridays. That's about it for now. Bye. |

Wow
Two days ago, the state of Tennessee (where I live) started its first lottery. Today, my dad got a winning ticket worth $7000. He'll probably cash it in tomorrow. It's probably going to be less after taxes, and the only money I'll get will probably go towards college. Still, it's cool. |

One Day Until Friday
Tomorrow's Friday. I love Friday. I get to stay up and then sleep late the next day. I don't understand why people can't get it through their heads that I work best at late hours. Night is my best time.
Well, I added my favorite quizzes into the new Quiz Manager feature. The three I picked to display are at the bottom of this page. I think it would be better if people could click on a link to see all the quizzes, but I'm not the one who designed it. It's still cool.
Well, I guess there's not much to talk about. School still sucks. That's about it. See you later. |
