My Weekend

Well, the weekend is now over. I spent my time over at my mom's house, helping out a bit with her and my grandpa since my mom just had some surgery on her arm. I didn't really have to do too much, so I stayed on the couch and watched Spirited Away, The Longest Yard, Kingdom of Heaven, I Robot, School of Rock, and various other movies and tv shows. I also played Animal Crossing on my DS up until my battery almost died. I got back Sunday around 6ish. No, I didn't watch the Super Bowl. I flipped to it occasionally, but I was never really paying attention. Didn't care. I did start on a large load of Japanese homework I have due Thursday, so that's good. I also went to Cyber Cafe and hung out with friends from about 10:30ish to midnight. Got back, showered, and here I am, posting before I get ready for bed. I was thinking after I was talking with my friends around a table at Cyber. That's something I would like to spend all my time doing, just hanging out and talking about various things. I love being with my friends. Then, I had a second thought. If I spent all my time with them, talking about the various things in our lives, we'd run out of things to talk about eventually if we just stayed there, so we all have to eventually get up, go out, and do stuff so that we can come back later and talk about it. Maybe my subconscience is trying to tell me to go out and do something with my life. I don't know. Just a random thought of the day. That's all for now. Have a good week and have fun commenting.

I Need a Bag of 100 Bells and a Golden Shovel

(any Animal Crossing people get that ^ ?) Yesterday was pretty good. We watched the movie Groundhog's Day in my Experiences of Lit, and that's a great movie. I also watched more Shuffle. I finished episodes 8-14, so I have just about 10 episodes to go. I want a new computer. My laptop sucks. Compaq Presario 700 with 240 MB of RAM, Mobile AMD Duron processor running at 492 MHz, 18.6 GB of hard drive space (with only 1.4 GB free), a screwed up DVD drive that doesn't work, and a screwed up headphone port with some loose connection so that sound often doesn't come out evenly in my headphones, among other things. I want a new computer, and people tell me to get one, but people are morons when they keep saying this after I keep bringing up the money issue. I have enough, true, but I have other things that come first. MTAC is in a few months, and that's a large cash drain. So is paying for college next semester, not to mention if I go ahead and reserve a room now with the $200 down payment. Also, I do not want to work with my dad again this summer, so chances are whatever job I get will not pay as much as that one did. I don't want to take out another loan next year either. I'm considering cancelling the second installment of this loan so I won't have to pay back as much later, and I don't really need it. I hate dealing with all this financial crap. That was a long paragraph rant. Well, I'll be gone for the weekend, over at my mom's. I'll post sometime after I return Sunday. See you all later. Have fun commenting. I had a lot of Naruto ones to choose from, but those pale in comparison to the crazy Sephy from a FF7 parody in an issue of VG Cats. Don't run with swords covered in blood.

   2 Years for Me

I just remembered today that a couple of weeks ago, on Jan 11 06, I had my two year anniversary here at myO. Yay me. Today was cool. Anime club was fun. We watched some shorts, as well as more Paradise Kiss, Monster, and Peach Girl. We also watched Photon, which is a 6-episode OVA that's really good, done by a lot of the same people who did Tenchi Muyo. It's good. Plenty of nudity, but nothing that's hard to handle. That's pretty much it. I still have homework. Have fun commenting. Bye.

Does Loud Music Help Headaches?

I kinda have a slight headache. It was worse, but it's getting better, so yay. I'm sure listening to iTunes doesn't help though Class was fine. I love Experiences of Lit. Japanese was good as usual, save for a couple of annoying people. Anthropology, we watched a movie about the Kayapo Indians in Brazil trying to prevent the building of a dam, and Sting was there. Yes, the musical star Sting. It was a pretty good movie. Dinner was fun. Ate with friends, as usual. Played Animal Crossing DS, as usual. Afterwards, I had an Anime Club Committee meeting to go to. It ran longer than usual, and afterwards, I developed a small headache. After talking with people, I came back to my room, where I am now. Not much else, so I shall get going. Have fun commenting. ADA and More

Great weekend. Saturday was the All Day Anime Day. We watched a whole lot of stuff, and I played a bunch of games like Naruto 4 on the gamecube and Taiko Drum Master on the PS2. I even danced some during the Para Para panel when they were teaching us. I sucked at that. Then I hung out with friends afterwards, eating pizza and such. Sunday, I stayed in my room for a while, listening to various tunes on iTunes. I later worked out with some friends. Haven't done that in a while. I did some weights, which aren't much fun unless friends are there. Racketball was fun, even though I sucked. Ate dinner afterwards and returned to my room. Now, I'm just online, talking to people. I'll probably shower and call it a night soon enough. Everyone have a good day and have fun commenting.

ADA

All Day Anime Day today. I love ADAs. I'm all clean today with clean clothed from the laundry that I did yesterday. Last night was cool too. I played Animal Crossing on my DS some more. We went to go get my friend a DS, so now even more of us have DSs. We're taking over *insert evil laugh here*. We played in another friend's room and then watched Nuku Nuku and Super Milk Chan. Well, I have to finish getting ready, so have a nice day and have fun commenting.

Someone Give Me A Nap

I'm tired. I had an 8am class today, and I got to bed around 1:30 last night, so not much sleep. Plus, I wasn't able to nap in class, which was really annoying. Yesterday was great. My Experiences of Lit class was good as usual. Then, I read Sidelines, the campus newspaper, and the anime club is in it. They even quoted us, which made me happy. Japanese was ok, nothing too special there. Anthropology, was cancelled due to the teacher not being able to show a movie due to technological problems. I love those problems, especially when there's a good chance someone in class could have fixed it, but we all know better than to do that. I hung out with some friends for a while. I went back to my room until dinner, which was fun. Library after that with some friends, but I was the only one not studying. We got into political, religious, and ethical discussions, and that was kinda fun. Cyber Cafe afterwards where we ran into more people. I stayed there until 1 when I called it a night. Today, I shall do laundry. Yay. Hopefully get a nap in there as well. Don't know what I'll do tonight. Tomorrow is All Day Anime. It promises to be a fun day. I'll catch you all later. Bye.

FMA Movie, Check

My mission to catch up on some series has begun with the watching of the FMA movie. I rather liked it. I heard some complaints about the ending, and I can certainly understand them, but it did kinda leave an opening in the ending. Plus, word is that there's an FMA ova on the way. I might finish it up, which would be cool. I kinda liked the ending theme too. I still have some others to catch up on, but I'll do that later. I have time. Wednesday is the anime club meeting day, so I'm looking forward to that. Just have to get a couple of classes out of the way. I would consider napping, but like that'll happen. So Little Anime, So Much Time...Wait, Rewind and Reverse.

First day of the week. Monday was ok. Class went well. I especially liked my Mass Media class. It's a fun class. We talked about what communication is and how it influences people. Dinner was fun. Afterwards was the Monday manga reading group, which was fun. I read Vagabond vol 1 and Qwan vol 2 and 3. Both were fairly good. Then, to Cyber from about 9 to 12. Hung out with a bunch of friends, which was fun. Came back to my room around 12, and here I am, posting, procrastinating on studying, as usual. I have a few series to catch up on, but I'm lacking on time. I'm all caught up on Bleach, so yay. I still have to watch Mai Otome, Saikano, Speed Grapher, GunXSword, the FMA movie, and plenty of other stuff. Kinda hard when I'm hanging out with people so much. Saturday's been a good day. I slept for a while, ate at the cafeteria with some friends, went off and bought Animal Crossing DS and some comics, watched some game playing, saw The Butterfly Effect. Plenty of fun stuff, and I now have a new DS game. I've been back on campus for a week. It's been rather nice. I love seeing all of my friends, going to the anime club, having a fast connection. It's all good here. I even have an external CD-RW drive a friend let me borrow, so I can burn anime onto CDs and free up hard drive space. Yay. I have yet to work any hours at the dorm desk for spare cash, but books don't seem to drain my account near as bad this year, which is good. Overall, it's been a good week. Here's to hoping for a good semester as well. Not really anything else to talk about, so have fun commenting.
