Depressing Halloween Night Rant
Disappointing Halloween. At least I dressed up. I was a shirt ninja, using a shirt for a mask, wearing a "I'm Ninja (you can't see me)" shirt, and had my bokken. However, the anime club party was a bit of a let down. It wasn't a party. It was a meeting. We watched some good stuff, like Blood: The Last Vampire, Speed Grapher, and Trinity Blood. Still, other than the costume contest and the para para demonstration, both were short. In fact, I talked to some of the para para people who left because they were bored, expecting a party. It sucked that they left, but what sucked more is that they had a really good point. I still enjoyed the anime, but as this was supposed to be a party, it failed in that aspect.
You ever want to watch something so that you can get it out of the way? Something so that you can just say that you've seen it? Well, I did that tonight with Rocky Horror Picture Show. Now, I no longer have to see it, and thank goodness for that. I was disappointed (seems to be the theme tonight) with this movie, but then again, I didn't expect much, so oh well. It just didn't interest me, and I found everyone yelling and doing stuff during the movie to be annoying, even if it's what they're supposed to do. I was still a shirt ninja, so I had my bokken, and I wanted to hit people with it. I can see how people would like it. It does encourage audience participation, and that is creative. All the acting and such was ok. It just didn't entertain me, and now I know not to see it anymore.
Tuesday, I have a meeting with my academic advisor at 10:30, class from 1 to 4, and laundry to do. At least I have change. I'll probably break a dryer though, but oh well. At least I have no homework. Sorry for the rants above. I was put into a ranting mood. I guess I'll leave it at that. I'll see about getting my shirt ninja pic on here some time. That's all for now. Have fun commenting. |
