Limit Change

I was visiting that suggestion thread at the otakuboards, and Adam has said that he has increased the intro limit to 1500. Including spaces, mine has 1474. Not including spaces, it's 1242. I guess I fit the limit. Could someone tell me if he is including spaces as characters?
