Final Part.
Here's part three. It's a little long, but I needed it to be to fit it all in this part. Otherwise, I'd have a normal sized part and one short one. It was a little rushed because I feared that I wouldn't finish it like I don't with all my other stories. Enjoy.

It was like a stampede of people. Over twenty men. Four had swords, four had chains, four had axes, four had spears, some had bows, they all had leather armor, and they all charged towards Niko. Niko looked at his sword in its sheath. He no longer had that calm demeanor. Now, he was serious. He drew his sword, and ran right into the group before they even got out of the fort.

The bowmen shot first, but when they shot, he was gone before the arrows got even an inch from the bow. Niko kept running. First, the swordsmen. They charged, and he slashed before they knew what happened. All four down in seconds. The bowmen kept shooting.

Then, Niko went for the ones with spears. They were all foolish enough to throw their spears at Niko at once. He jumped and landed. Niko sheathed his sword. They charged weaponless. The first threw a punch. Niko blocked as he kicked another one a good ten feet away. Niko then took the one who threw the punch and threw him into the other two, knocking them off their feet and onto the ground. The bowmen kept shooting.

The ones with axes faired a little bit better. They encircled Niko and attacked him at once. Niko kept his sword sheathed. He jumped up. As one looked up, Niko’s foot landed on his face. One down. Another tried to horizontally cut Niko in two, but Niko ducked. While still crouched, Niko kicked his gut. Two down. The next one charged Niko. Niko dropped and rolled under him, tripping him. Niko picked him up by his heals and hit the fourth one with him. He then let go, sending him through a wall. All four down. The bowmen kept shooting, but they ran out of arrows. Niko then looked at them. They ran through the gate, almost screaming for their lives.

Tayaku had seen the whole thing. He laughed. “Good work. I love a good show. You defeated them all, and look at my swordsmen bleeding on the ground. It will be unfortunate though. Getting good help isn’t cheap, and I have no one to clean this mess.”

Niko wiped dirt off of his clothes. Without looking at Tayaku, ha said, “Tell them to clean it themselves. They’re live. I didn’t injure anyone fatally.” Niko looked up at Tayaku, still with that serious face. “You, on the other hand, I may have to.”

“I doubt that. They were just for show. You’ve yet to meet my best underling.”

“Go ahead and bring him out. Just one more obstacle before I get the info I need.”

Tayaku snapped his fingers. Suddenly, a hut in the fort to Tayaku’s right caught on fire.

“A fire demon, eh?”

Something busted out. It was a large figure, over seven feet tall. It was black like charcoal with red line all over like small rivers of lava. He had a rather large club of black rock, and horns on his head. Niko smiled a little bit.

“Oh, a kazangan. They’re rare in this area.”

Tayaku smirked. “Yes. They’re usually found in caves. I saved his life, so now he fights for me.” Tayaku looked over at the kazangan. “Go. Kill him.”

The kazangan spoke. “Yes sir.” He started to walk towards Niko. The kazangan grunted and growled. Niko smiled.

“You kiss your mother with that mouth?”

The kazangan stopped. Niko looked over to Tayaku. “He doesn’t like you very much.”

“What are you talking about? What makes you think that?”

Niko was still smiling. “He said so.”

“He just made some grunts.”

“You know, demons have a language that is much different that human language. It’s just noises that they make that people write off as meaningless, but to other demons, it’s as clear as day.”

“Sure. Whatever you say. I don’t care if he hates me. He’s still going to kill you.”

The kazangan started walking slowly towards Niko. Niko kicked up a sword on the ground and caught it. As the kazangan lifted up his club, Niko disappeared. He appeared behind the kazangan. The club and the kazangan’s horns were sliced off, and the sword was burned through.

“Kazangans emit an intense heat around their bodies. That explains the sword.” He looked at the kazangan. “I don’t know how he saved your life, and I don’t care. The fact is a spared your life when you know I could have easily taken yours. I showed you mercy. You owe me.”

The kazangan growled.

“No, no. I don’t need a servant or a slave. Just leave here and don’t let anyone enslave you again.”

The kazangan walked out the gate. Niko turned, smiled, and waved. He then turned back to Tayaku, now with his serious face again. He ran to him, threw out Tayaku’s sword out of his sheath, and ran him up against a wall. He held him up by holding his collar.

“Ok. Now you’ll tell me where to find your boss.”

Tayaku looked scared. “I…I have no boss.”

Niko was getting angry. “Let’s try this again. Tell me where to find Ryuuza.”

“Y…you’ll never find my master.”

Niko got fed up and threw Kayaku into another wall. With Niko’s back turned, Kayaku grabbed a sharp piece of wood. He ran towards Niko with great speed. However when it was just a foot away, Niko’s palm was facing him. Suddenly, a strong wind came out. Tayaku was blown back over fifty feet. He went straight into a carriage.

“Come on out.” Seria came out from behind a barrel.

“I said to go home.”

“A…a…are you a demon?”

Niko smiled and looked at her. “Not exactly.”

“You killed Tayaku?”

“No, but his body is now covered with several cuts from that last attack. He’ll be fine, but I doubt he’ll bother anyone around here again.”

She paused for a moment. He’s not a demon, yet he beat all of them so easily. None of them are dead. Who is this guy?

“Well, if you’re not a demon, then what are you?”

Niko smiled. “Let’s just say I was born human.” Niko looked past her, past the gate. “People are coming. They’re a mile off. I guess they heard about what was happening. It’s best I go.”

Seria turned to the gate. She saw people running towards the fort. She turned back around, and Niko was gone.

***

A week later, three villages from where a mysterious warrior brought down a gang that terrorized a town all by himself, two large and strange demons were running through a town, destroying homes. They weren’t paying attention to the figure with silver hair and ice blue eyes standing in their way, or the incredibly fast wind coming from his hands, cutting through them as if it were blowing blades.

The End…for now.
