NARUTO FAN FIC!!

CHAPTER ONE

Uzamaki Arashi was walking in a clearing in the forest when she heard a rustle in the trees. Just as she turned, a young boy of 13 jumped down in front of her. He had spiky blonde hair, Arashi’s hair was the same way except for the length and the fact that it was in a bun at the top of her head. The young boy stood next to Arashi with the most annoying expression on his face. It was the ‘you left me in a tree again’ look Arashi had come to know (and had known) all too well. The face of her younger brother, Naruto

“What?!” was all Arashi could say. She had the usual insistent look with a side of ‘not my fault.’ “It’s not my fault that you can’t keep up! And you call yourself a shinobi! You should be ashamed of yourself blaming it on me!”

“I wouldn’t talk if I were you Arashi. You never could keep up in class in the academy,” a new voice came from a tall, young, gray haired man. He was reading an adult book, so he quickly put it away, for fear of it being taken by Arashi.

“Nah-uh, Kakashi!! I was sooooo good! YOU couldn’t keep up! Can’t even now!” Arashi retorted in an ‘I’m better than you’ voice. She crossed her arms and looked away, nose high in the air. She didn’t notice the others coming up. Three more people, two of them, young shinobi, Sakura, 13 with a head of short pink hair, and Sasuke, also 13 with short bluish-black hair.

The other was an older, but still a young man, shinobi of about 24, but he had brown hair pulled back into a tight ponytail. He scratched the old scar across the bridge of his nose. “Now, now ‘Rashi! Let’s not start anything. Anyways, aren’t you supposed to be helping Naruto with his chakra and-” The young man kept his mouth shut with one dirty look from Arashi.

“I’m SUPPOSED to…but, IRUKA! He’s hopeless! He can’t even do the simplest of jutsu! He IS much worse than even how I was! No way will I teach him anymore!” Arashi said as if she was finalizing the conversation. Kakashi just rolled his eye at her.

“So now you will admit how stupid you were in class?” Kakashi inquired.

“AT LEAST MY BEST JUTSU WASN’T SOMETHING LIKE HIS!!!! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS??! DO YOU?! SEXY JUTSU HE CALLS IT! IMMA KILL HIIIM!!!!” Arashi screamed as she charged for Naruto.

“Aaaaaaaaaaah! Someone stop her! She’s gonna kill me! HELP, HELP, HELP, HELP!!” Naruto screamed back as he and Arashi ran around the surrounding trees.

“Now I can see how they’re related. They’re both idiots!” Sasuke moaned. He was sitting on a fallen log with his hands to his head, probably trying to suppress a growing headache. Sakura went to go comfort him.

Just then, a loud barking was heard among the trees which stopped Arashi in her tracks, which caused Naruto to run in to her, having no affect on Arashi’s standing what so ever. “I know that bark!” Arashi said as she stood there as if glued to the ground. Seconds later, she was toppled by a humongous black dog. Immediately, the dog began to lick Arashi’s face. “Stop it! Come on, stop it!” Arashi’s giggles and words were barley heard under the massive black blob.

“MAX! YOU GET OFF HER NOW! We didn’t come all this way, so you could maul her face off!” A young man emerged from the shadows, dressed in black with a face mask and a black bandana, a village symbol that entailed four dots, attached at the bottom with a little black hair poking out. He ran over to the black thing, trying to get it off of Arashi. Soon, with the help of Kakashi and Iruka, Max was sitting up, tail wagging, and tongue hanging. “Hi Arashi! Sorry about Max, ehehe. Don’t you remember him! You last saw him when he was about 5 years old!” The young man asked Arashi. Now that he stood next to her, you could see he was a bit shorter.

“Alex? OH MY GOD ALEX! You‘ve been gone for so long!!! How was that mission? When did you finish?” Arashi yelled with joy to see the man as she huggled him. Suddenly a whimper was heard coming from Alex. “WHAT!? YOU DON’T WHAT A HUG AFTER ALL THESE YEARS?! You hurt meh feelings!” Arashi began to fake cry.

“I want a hug Arashi!” A new figure had appeared, jumping down from a tree. It was a woman of white hair with black tips and a wolf tail and ears, she was holding a gothic looking umbrella which clashed with her outfit. “I feel so left out.” She had the same village symbol on her arm.

“I’M SORRY GRACIE!!!!” Arashi sang out as she glomped her. “I hope you feel better now!”

“Aww. I do!” Grace responded. Just then, another voice was heard.

“You’re looking well Arashi! I hope your travels weren’t too much on your body. Would you like a check up?” The voice was coming from the shadows. “Grace? May I have my umbrella back now!? I can’t go in the sun with out it. Remember?” Grace gave back the umbrella to the shadow as she mumbled an apology.

“Oh my! Shai, Alex, AND Grace!? I wasn’t expecting you guys to come so soon! Is Lizzy on her way? Or will she be staying to back to take care of a few things? She should let Victor do that! He’s much better at it then her no offence. The only one to compare to that skill is you Shai!” Arashi said as she looked completely confused.

“Yes, well you see…Lizzy is not in the best shape…she did something stupid. I mean, EVEN FOR LIZZY!” Grace tried to explain.

“Oh, let me guess!” Arashi started in a sarcastic tone. “She got drunk, and THEN tried to train.” Arashi looked really mad, and concerned at the same time.

“You two really DO know each other too well! Don’t you? Oh but yes, that is what happened. She’ll be here tomorrow though, so try not to worry so much.” Shai explained for Grace. Shai had long black hair that reached her waist with a black dress and purple obi to match. She had the strange village symbol around her neck.

“Thank GOD I didn’t have to travel with her! Glad I got lost!” Alex sighed.

“YOU BIG MEANIE!! DON’T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT LIZZY THAT WAY!” Arashi screamed at Alex chasing him down, and sitting on his stomach when he was caught.

“So these are some of you elite ninja you’ve been talking about so much?” Kakashi asked with an amused look on his face.

“Well…yes! They’re much tougher than they look. My most advanced ninja are the GIRLS ALEEEEX!! Arashi sneered at Alex.

“Shut up ‘Rashi! I’m tired of hearing that all the time. I’m just as good as any of the girls you have in the village.” Alex said in a fake ‘I’m bored’ voice. You see, Arashi was the Hokage of her own village, the sugar village. The odd symbol, was her symbol.

“Well…if you say so! Anyways, who are the other ninja in your village? Most of all, I need to know about this ‘Lizzy’, if she’s going to be as annoying as you are. Why did she get drunk to do training?” Kakashi inquired.

“Let me explain Arashi.” Shai jumped in, Arashi looked as if she was begging to answer Kakashi. “Lizzy and Arashi have a long standing joke about drunks. They just laugh when they see one, not really a joke I know, but it serves it’s purpose. Oh, and Lizzy is just as crazy and…exciting…yes I believe we should call it that…just as exciting as Arashi. That is all.” Arashi just looked a Shai.

“How’d you know about the joke? And well…yeah it’s not REALLY a joke…THEY JUST LOOK SO FUNNY!!!” Arashi burst out laughing. She fell and began to roll on the ground. Alex, just from looking at Arashi, began to laugh too. “Shut up Alex!” Arashi said as she pulled Alex to the ground, still laughing her head off. Alex stood up looking angry at Arashi for knocking him over.

“WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!” Alex practically screamed at Arashi. Arashi just stood there, spacing out. She was looking past Alex…right at Kakashi.

“What?” was all Kakashi could say. Suddenly, Arashi ran towards Kakashi.

“SURPRISE GLOMP!!” Arashi screamed. She tackled him to the ground and began to laugh. Kakashi thought fast, and used a replacement jutsu, turning himself into a log. “’Kashi?!” Arashi looked apprehensively around the surrounding forest. “KAKASHI!!! I WASN’T DONE!!! I will find you. And you know that!” Arashi disappeared into the trees as she searched for Kakashi.

“ARASHI! PUT…ME…DOWN!!!” Kakashi’s voice was heard as Arashi walked into the clearing. She had hugged his arms to his sides so he could not make any hand signs to free himself. Kakashi looked angrier by the second! “I hope you know I will be getting you back for this!” Kakashi inquired.

“Of course I do silly ‘Kashi!! I wouldn‘t expect any less or any more.” Arashi said as she placed her head in his hair and began to rub her face in it.

“OK! That’s just weird! Why do I just HAVE to be related to her?! She’s a weirdo! Worse that me!!” Naruto blurted out. Arashi looked truly hurt that time. She never could stand being made fun of, and Naruto had crossed the line. He had been insulting her the entire time she had been there (which was a grand total of 2 days).

“Naruto!” Kakashi and Iruka exclaimed at the same time.

Iruka motioned to Kakashi that he would take care of Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke while he take everyone else to go look for Arashi. “You see Naruto, Arashi IS a very odd person. Random, eccentric, and hyper, but, she’s also very sensitive, kinda like you if you think about it! The entire reason for leaving and making herself Hokage of her own village, was to prove she wasn’t a failure. Also like another little blonde we all know! So now do you see why we need to keep the insults on the down LOW!” Iruka explained with a smile on his face almost the entire time. He looked kind of sad when he was talking about the part when she left.

“Yeah, ok. I get it! Be nice but not SUPER nice. Treat her like…THE WAY I WANT TO BE TREATED! HAHAHAHAHA!! I get it!” Naruto answered in an excited tone. He was ready to except his new sister…or so he thought.

CHAPTER TWO

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE ‘OUT OF RAMEN’!!” Arashi exclaimed to Iruka back at his apartment. Kakashi, Alex, and Max (mostly Max) had found her sulking in a tree. She kept saying ‘HE DOESN’T LIKE MEEE!!’ (referring to Naruto) and refusing to get down (whaling her arms around and hitting Alex in the face, many a time).

Arashi had to say with Iruka while Naruto cleaned up his place a bit. Iruka was bit unsure about letting her stay with him, since he would be gone most of the time with the younger students. Iruka had Khonahomaru come over on several occasions (extra help) to find Iruka’s apartment completely trashed with Arashi sleeping in his bed with barely anything on. This would make everyone VERY uncomfortable.

Arashi was whining about the lack of ramen in Iruka’s house. “But ‘Ruuuuuuuuukaaaaaaa!!! I NEED ramen!”

“Alright!” Iruka sighed, “I’ll take you out to dinner! Happy?” Iruka asked sarcastically.

“Yes! Yes I am!” Arashi answered with a cheeky smile and she hugged him quickly before there was any response. Just as she grabbed her coat (and Iruka’s wallet), and opened the door, Naruto was walking up with Kakashi to say sorry, which you can imagine, was going to be very hard for Naruto.

“OH! Hey, I was just coming to see ya sis…is it ok if I call you sis?” Naruto asked in a uncertain voice.

Arashi looked at him for a minute before saying, “Of course! I mean, we ARE related! I would expect nothing more and nothing less. Oh, Kakashi, you’re here too!?” Arashi looked surprised to see him with Naruto outside of training of the occasional ramen lunch or dinner. Well, that was what she had heard.

“Hello Kakashi. Arashi and I were about to go out for dinner! Would-” Iruka was cut of by Arashi, who leapt at the chance to invite Naruto and Kakashi to come with them.

“YES YES!! We were just about to go get some ramen! Would you all like to come?! I bet you do Naruto! I hear your the only one who ever bought as much ramen as I did! Hahaha, the things I did!” Arashi was guiding the three down to the ramen shop without an answer.

“Yo-You see Naruto, she only wants to get know you more…and drag us along in the process.” Iruka motioned to Kakashi and himself as he said it almost under his breath…almost.

When they were all seated down at the ramen shop, Arashi noticed someone she had not seen yet, Jiraiya.

“JIRAIYA!!! How long as it been buddy!” Just along the bar, was an old looking man of white hair with red streaks coming from his eyes.

“WOW! I knew you’d turn into my kind of gal Arashi! Remember that, good times don’t you agree? Come, come, we must drink to celebrate!” Jiraiya looked surprised to see Arashi back…and very pleased.

“OH NO!! YOU’RE FRIENDS WITH THAT…WITH THAT…THAT PERVERT!!?? NO WAY! Man…and I thought you were odd before, BUT THAT JUST ABOUT BLEW ME AWAY!” Naruto was standing on his stool pointing at Arashi and Jiraiya indecently.

“Why you ungrateful little…” Jiraiya sighed then realizing what Naruto had just said, “I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO NEVER CALL ME A PERVERT!!”

“Whoa, hey! You two know each other?! THAT’S GREAT! Now I don’t have to do introductions!” Arashi sat there looking quite pleased with herself for nothing in particular.

“Oh…no.” Kakashi and Iruka said together. They both knew that Jiraiya was planning to get in some ‘research’, but neither knew if he was to use Arashi…or the Bath-house.

“Just back from research…or going?” Kakashi asked suspiciously.

Jiraiya looked at him saying, “Yes. I just finished in fact!” he looked at Arashi, who was too busy eating (and enjoying very much…almost TOO much) to notice his ‘special glance’, “I was hoping for a good night on the town…saaaay…would YOU like to take me Arashi?!”

Arashi looked up at him, “ONLY IF NARUTO IS COMING!! OH OH OH OH!! AND ‘KASHI AND ‘RUKA TOO!! Can they? Please ‘Rai?” Arashi batted her eyes at him and clasped her hands together, coming closer to his face.

Jiraiya began to get a nose bleed, and turned away, “Uh…I…I guess.”

“YAAAAAY!! I LOVE YOU ‘RAI!!” Arashi said as she grabbed him in to a hug. Just as they were about to go, Shai came around the corner. “Oh! Shai, would you like to come with us!? We were just about to go out on the town. SAY! Now that you’re here, WE CAN ALL TAKE BATHS! Won’t that be fun!?” Arashi smiled her usual big smile.

“Of course, I’d love to come ‘Rashi. I guess you couldn’t wait to take a bath in the famous ‘Leaf Village Hot Springs’, could you?” Shai asked hugging Arashi lightly.

“Yep!!” Arashi responded, hugging Shai back in a somewhat tighter grip. The others looked at the two hugging like they were crazy. (It was not normal to be out in the middle of the street hugging someone…well…not in Kohana!)

“Well, well, well. Why aren’t I in that hug?!” Arashi and the others turned to find four figures. Two of the figures were girls, and the others boys. The voice was coming from one of the girls, she had strawberry-blonde hair pulled in two pony tails, and the Sugar Village symbol around her waist. The other girl was slightly darker then the other girl who had brown short hair with the symbol on the back of her head. The boy to the left, was tan and had black, somewhat long hair with two swords hooked to his back, symbol to his neck. Lastly, the boy to the right had long red hair, and was the darkest of the four. He had the band around his forehead.

“Ok! Now I have A LOT of intros to do.” Arashi said surprised to see so many of her ninja. “The one with strawberry-blonde hair…is…LIZZY!!!!” Arashi yelled as she ran up and hugged Lizzy. “The other girl is Bianca, the one with red hair is Jeshaun, and last but not least, little blacky is Vicky-I-mean-Victor!” Arashi said (hugging each one as she introduced) in a fake ‘oops’ voice. She began to laugh in hysterics as the boy chased after her.

“Good…grace. What are…they doing?” Kakashi asked.

“Well, you see, Victor HATES it when you call him ‘Vicky’, and Arashi just thinks it’s hilarious. She’s always in the mood to pick on him. And the same for him just vise versa. It’s actually quite funny after you watch it for a while!” Shai answered Kakashi.

Jiraiya looked as if he was going to run up and grab Arashi to keep her from being distracted. “This is tiring Arashi! How about that bath you were talking about?! Hmmm?” Jiraiya asked in an egger tone.

“Oh yeah.” Arashi stopped dead in her tracks so that Victor would run into her. “I guess we better be going. HEY! Would you guys like to come? We’re going to have LOTS of fun!” Arashi asked the new comers.

“We would LOVE to come! Right guys?” Bianca said it as if she were threatening them.

“I WAS GOING TO SAY I WANTED TO GO ANYWAYS!!” Jeshaun screamed at Bianca. He too enjoyed making play fun of Arashi. “GOD! It’s like I can’t be trusted to make my own decisions!” then he turned to Arashi and said, “I’d love to go with you all on your little…adventure!”

“He seems a little TOO nice Iruka-Sensei! If you know what I mean!” Naruto whispered to Iruka.

Iruka looked at him sideways saying in a hushed voice, “Concerned about our sister, eh? Worried that she’ll fall in love with the wrong guy?” Iruka said jokingly. From the look on Naruto’s face Iruka quickly said, “Just kidding of course! Ehehehe!”

“No…I do care. BUT NOT A LOT! S-SO DON’T THINK I’M GOING SOFT OR NOTHIN’!” Naruto answered quickly seeing the expression on Iruka’s face.

“Come now little bro! It’s time to have fun with big sis!!” Arashi got right up in Naruto’s face and grabbed his hand. “Come on everybody! To the Hot Springs!”

“Now now Arashi. I insist we go to the co-ed Springs. I mean it’s only fair-” Jiraiya was cut off by Shai who hit him over the head with her umbrella.

“YOU EVER SUGGEST THAT AGAIN AND I’LL…AND I’LL…I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’LL DO, BUT IT’LL CAUSE A WORLD OF HURT FOR YOU!!! Especially if you EVER try that with Arashi! Then…I’ll kill you.” Shai screamed at Jiraiya and she rapidly hit him over the head. (You will almost never she Shai getting very angry.)

“AWW! Don’t kill him Shai! He’s still my friend!” Arashi whined. Shai stopped after the twentieth hit.

CHAPTER THREE

“Ah! Nothing like taking a relaxing bath in Kohana!” Arashi said. It turned out that they DID go to a co-ed bath, but Jiraiya was blocked by almost everyone, so Arashi would be safe from his praying eyes.

“COME COME EVERYONE! I’m not going to peep on ANYONE! Especially not ARASHI! Now don’t get me wrong, she is my kinda girl!” Jiraiya’s smile widened with the look of Arashi, “But I would never! NEVER! Peep on poor, innocent Arashi! TRUST ME!!” from the look on everyone’s face, you could see no trust in their eyes.

“Hey! Hey guys! Look up!” Arashi said with her face to the sky, “You can see all the stars! Where we are, either we’re working, sleeping, or traveling. But we never get a chance to just look at the sky! Makes me happy to see it again.” everyone just looked at her for a moment.

“Yes. I suppose we never DO get to look at the sky that much.” Lizzy slowly said, with Bianca nodding in agreement, face also pointing to the sky.

“Oh, this is so annoying after a while. All we’re doing is cooking our skin!” Jeshaun said loudly as to disturb the situation.

“Aww!! Jeshaun! Your voice is too low to yell stuff! I wouldn’t doubt if the whole VILLAGE heard what you just said!” Arashi began to giggle after her words. Everyone (except Gracie, and other people who weren’t important to be in the story because the author is happy! <3 don‘t kill me….) in Arashi’s village joined in the fun of laughter.

“WHAT?!” was all Jeshaun could say, looking at his surrounding friends, making waves as he moved in the water, as in the very back of the spring, where Iruka and Naruto, (Kakashi was being force to stay be Arashi’s side so he could protect her from Jiraiya), were whispering.

“What’s the matter Naruto? You look a bit troubled.” Iruka inquired.

“Well, it’s just…only a few days ago I didn’t even KNOW I had a sister, but now I don’t only know, but she’s right here in front of me, laughing, dancing, and singing with her friends from her OWN village! It’s kinda…scary…in a way” Naruto squinted at his new found sister, as if he were looking for something, or trying to look through her.

“ ‘Naru!!! ‘Ruka!! Why are you guys all the way in the back? Come join the party!” Arashi swam over, covering herself with one of the towels. She held Naruto close to herself and if she were clinging for dear life. And at the same time, like a loving mother. “Now ‘Ruka needs a hug!!”

“I-I don’t think that’s a good-” Iruka was cut off by Arashi flinging herself on him with her total weight. “Argh!! ARASHI-” again Iruka was cut off as he and Arashi feel over into the hot spring. Iruka came right up, but Arashi was nowhere to be found. “Arashi? ARASHI?!” was all Iruka, and the others, could say. Suddenly, Arashi came jumping out of the water.

“BOO!!” she said as she jump onto Iruka. Iruka was very startled, and felt very uncomfortable.

“ARASHI!!! GET OVER HERE!!” Shai yelled for Arashi. (You never hear Shai yelling either!) “What are you doing?” Shai asked calmly.

“Well, at first I couldn’t get up,(Iruka fell on her), but then I could so I decided to scare the BEHEBES out of Iruka!” as Arashi said this she splashed to the others, but to Iruka in particular.

“Well, I think that’s enough fun for one day!” Kakashi said with his hair over his face.

“I just noticed Kakashi. You have a mask for the hot springs…in that case…I’LL JUST HAVE TO TAKE IT OFF FOR YOU!!!” Arashi said as her jumped up to him.

“ARASHI!” was the only thing Kakashi had a chance to say before Arashi attacked his mouth.

“If you won’t take it off now, I’m going into the changing room with you!” Arashi crossed her arms against her chest, and she used a definite tone. “Sooooo…if we’re getting dressed all of a sudden. I guess I’ll be following the guys.” Arashi looked around slowly with the most unpleasant look on her face. Iruka and Kakashi froze in their tracks, and looked at each other slowly before running out of the hot spring and into the changing room. They both left the sound of Arashi’s evil laughter.

After that, they all decided to leave the hot springs, and go for a short walk…well…carry for Arashi. “’Ruka! Carry me. PLEASEEEEE!!!!???” Arashi begged of Iruka.

“Arashi! No, I will not carry you! Stop acting like a baby.” Iruka retorted, (Iruka gets cranky if he isn’t in bed by 10! And it was 10:00:10!!!!), waving his hands for her to get away.

“’Kashi?”, Arashi asked in one of her sickly-sweet voices.

“NO!” was all Kakashi had to say for Arashi to begin to fake cry.

“You’re all so MEAN to me!! ‘Naru! Your big sister needs a hug! HUG ME!!!???” without an answer, Arashi flung herself onto the young boy, almost crushing him with her weight.

“GAH! Yo-you need to lay off the hugs! You know that?!” Naruto yelled as she rubbed her face against his.

“AWW!! Don’t be like that ‘Naru! We need to have hugs every once-in-a-while! It’s good for you! Isn’t it, Shai?” Arashi let go of Naruto, (who feel to the ground), and looked to Shai.

“Well…it is proven that you do relieve stress by signs of love and-” Shai was cut off by Arashi’s joyous shoats.

“WHOOHOO!! I told you!! THIS IS CALLED THE IN YOUR FACE DANCE!!” Arashi began the chant in rhythm, in-your-face, while wiggling her butt in Naruto’s face.

“Arashi!” Kakashi sighed as he smacked his face. He walked over to her and said, “Arashi, I’LL give you a piggy-back ride. But only!” he said quickly seeing the look of pure joy on Arashi’s face, “If you promise, to talk to me later after the walk…ALONE!”, he stressed the word alone and looked over to her friends.

Arashi was not worried about the talk they would be having after, instead she jumped on his back and shouted, “ONWARDS!!” completely oblivious to the situation.

“You really need a chill-pill, you know that?” Iruka asked jokingly.

Arashi turned to him and patted him on the head a few times before saying, “Only if you have some, I will take some! Wha!!”, Arashi had to grip onto Kakashi a bit tighter, since she was sliding off his back.

Kakashi looked mad, because it ended out they did fall before moving his head to her saying, “Ya know…I may just have those pills, because you seriously need them!” Kakashi began to laugh as he picked Arashi up. “Let’s go have that talk now, ok?”, he said looking around to everyone, probably seeing if everyone was ready to go their separate ways. Shai nodded in agreement to everyone, leading the others out of the woods to the place they were staying.

“OK!! So now we can have that talk you were…so…desperate to have with me.” Arashi dramatically uttered desperate right in Kakashi’s ear, causing a shiver to go down his spin.

“Ok, if you’re gonna do that…you can get off!” Kakashi seriously said as he turned his head towards Arashi. Arashi whined to Kakashi to not put her down, but she eventually lost the fight, having both her feet on the ground. “Now, What we need to talk about is very important. Have you noticed a change in either Naruto’s, or your own, chakra build or movement?”

“Well, not really, but Jiraiya and I were talking in the spring about his mix of chakra. It seems he too has a mix of two chakra. It also seems that he has no idea that his second source, is from the Nine Tailed Fox. My second chakra, seems to strengthen every time I come close to him. Maybe it’s just an old defense move the spirit is used to, or we’re headed for a long and grueling battle!” Arashi was as serious as you could ever catch her. Just then, a rustle was heard in the leaves surrounding them.

“I can pin-point them if you give me a chance.” Kakashi said hurriedly, pulling up his head band to reveal his shurigan.

“No. I already know who it is. Come out…Amaya.”

CHAPTER FOUR

As soon as her name was mentioned, a young women of red hair, dressed in a purple kimono, with a fan covering half her face came out of the brush. She smirked as she answered to her name, “Well, well, well. What have we here? An old timer, and a hyperactive idiot. I don’t think you, Kakashi, should be standing in my way when the person you are standing in front of, I have to kill.”

“Kakashi, get out of the way so I can talk to her.”, Arashi calmly said to Kakashi as she walked past him to see her, “Who are you working for, or do you come alone? It’s not that wise to come alone, for I am never alone were I stand.” just as these words were said, like magic, Shai, Alex, Lizzy, Max, and all the others appeared by Arashi’s side.

“So…you were being literal?” Amaya chuckled, “I am on my own terms, and plan to kill you single handedly! And there’s NOTHING you can do to stop me!” Amaya launched towards Arashi with a kunai in hand, but was blocked by Alex’s own kunai.

“Arashi and I may have our disagreements, but she is the one who let me in. What harm has she ever done to you? How has she wronged you!?” Alex looked ready to take the woman’s life.

“Alex calm down!”, Arashi said quickly, “I know you won’t be fond of this young girl, but first you should know, she’s only 13. A ninja, but only 13. What could have made such a young girl with her life out in front of her like a deck of cards waiting to be played, throw them away like a game of 52 pick up by taking another’s life? When I was your age, I did the same. No I didn’t take some else’s life, but I practically threw mine away just as you are doing now!” , the woman they had seen in front of them, change into a teen and at Arashi’s words, Amaya began to cry.

“I don’t know how you found out my name and everything, but I still want to kill you!” the girl was in hysterics as she lounged for Arashi.

Arashi motioned for the others to stay out of this and also stated, “The flock that stays together thrives, but the one who fights alone, is foolish. Amaya, if you fight me now, you will forever be know as an enemy to my village. But if you end it now, and explain to me what is troubling you so, I will teach you to be a better, less confused, ninja.” Amaya chose to fight at first, attacking Arashi with all she had. Arashi beat her with slight ease. Arashi smiled as Amaya lowered her hands and slouched on the ground.

“You have won.” she uttered lowly.

“Ah! But it is YOU who as won! NOW YOU GET A GREAT TEACHER!! HAHAHA!!”

“Great! Mature Arashi just went right out the window there!” Jeshaun groaned.

“AWW!! Kakashi, you don’t think I’m annoying do you??!” Arashi pleaded as she ran up to Kakashi.

“WELL! It’s getting late isn’t it?” Kakashi turned so he wouldn’t have to face Arashi with his answer. “I think we better get Amaya’s things eh?!

“OH YEAH!! Amaya! Where are all your things? We needed to get them!” Arashi said excitedly looking around the area for some sort of bag.

“Can this truly be the same woman who beat me and convinced me to be on her side and even let her TRAIN me!? SHE’S COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!” Amaya exclaimed.

“Yep. That’s the way she is. Crazy smart, crazy smart. It goes back and forth sometimes! But you get used to it. Just imagine growing up with her!” Iruka chuckled. (He was one of the one’s to come.) “But anyways. Do you have anything with you, or just that kimono?” Iruka asked politely. Amaya shook her head, staring at him blankly.

“OHHH!! IRUKA! I THINK SHE GOT A CHRUSH ON YOU!” Arashi shrieked holding her hands to her cheeks. Amaya and Iruka both blushed, denying the opposing question strongly.

“N-no I don’t!” they both said stammering.

“HAHA!! Just kidding with you guys! I know you don’t.” Arashi’s face changed as grew closer to Amaya’s face to serious. “ ‘Cause Iuka is mine!” she grabbed Iruka close to herself.

Iruka’s face turned red for he couldn’t breath under the pressure Arashi was putting on him, but still he managed to say, “ ‘Rashi! You’re just kidding right? Arashi? You’re not answering me!! ARASHI!!!! ANSWER DANGIT!!”

“Let’s go back to your place Iruka!” Arashi said jokingly. Iruka’s face turned an even darker shade of red. “You know I’m just joking right Iruka!? Iruka?” Iruka had fainted from embarrassment. “…Um…that wasn’t supposed to happen…”, Kakashi sighed as Jeshaun smacked Iruka’s face to wake him up.

“WHAT!!? WHAT IS IT!!??”, Iruka yelled as he awoke. “Arashi! Never! And I mean NEVER!! Do that again! Do you get me?” Arashi nodded silently with her hands held high to her chest, together as if shielding herself from Iruka. “…Ah…Arashi I just mean…just stop being so…well…you!” Iruka nervously laughed.

“Arashi, take Amaya to the clearing were you used to practice. She can start there.” Kakashi suddenly said in the dark of the shadows, “Iruka, try not to be so hard on poor Arashi. She’s just trying to remember what it was like here. It’s hard for her since she spent her recent years in a completely different place. God knows what it was like there!” Kakashi had hurriedly walked up to Iruka whispering this in his ear.

“Hmm. Good point.” Iruka whispered back, “ Amaya, have you had any training before?”, Amaya nodded as she looked up to Iruka.

“Only a little. My trainer was killed, BY ONE OF YOUR MEN!” , Amaya pointed to Arashi who looked around herself before pointing to herself.

“ME?! It can’t possibly be me. The only one that goes out to other villages is Shai, and I’m pretty sure she’s a girl!” Arashi nodded to herself at her closing statement. “Unless…no it’s not possible…but just incase, did he have red eyes and a torn scarf around his neck?” Arashi asked looking troubled.

Amaya cooked her head and shook it no, “No, he had black eyes.”

“Well then it wasn’t him. Well, let’s get to your training!” Arashi sighed heavily before grabbing Amaya’s hand to lead her off to the clearing.

“Bu-But I just meet you!”, Amaya took her hand back before saying, “How do I know if I can trust you?”

Arashi blinked for a minute, “Well I guess it’s a chance your just gonna have to take huh?!”, Arashi was leaning down to get a good look at Amaya, when Naruto came into the clearing.

He rubbed the back of his head, a habit of his, before saying, “D-do you mind if I train with you guys? Ero Sennin said he was ‘too busy’ to worry about my training.”

“Well…I don’t know if you’d want to! We’re really just going over the basics now, but you can help me teach her a few things here and there! I really wouldn’t mind working with my little brother!!” Arashi’s voice got like how you talk to a baby, ya know, in that cuties way? Well that’s exactly what Arashi did.

“What!? You mean that sorry looking excuse for a boy, is your brother? Man he looks pathetic!” Amaya stuck he nose in the air in disapproval, “I thought your brother would look, well…stronger!”

“Amaya, there’s something you must understand about the appearance of a ninja, looks are deceiving, right Naru!?”, all Naruto could to was nod as Arashi put her hand on his head, as a sign NOT to attack the insulting girl that called herself a ninja. “Now that all that is explained to YOU, please explain to us what you can do, and see if it needs improvement, and if not, move onto something more difficult! Understand?”, Arashi said good-naturedly.

“Of course I am! I’m not an idiot, like some people here.” Amaya whispered that last comment to herself, but Arashi still managed to catch it.

“Oh!? You think we’re idiots here, do you? Well young one, you’re in for a pretty big surprise! I grew up in this village, and have made my own, how do think it could have been possible for me to make my OWN village, if I had not been trained well?”, Amaya looked as if she were about to speak, but Arashi put her hand up as to stop her while continuing, “And so you must be saying that you think YOU could make a village of your own and make improvements in your comrades lives…am I getting warm? Or is it the selfishness of a conceded young women, who’s head has gotten to big for her shoulders? Naruto you should be listening to, even though you have gotten less braggy.” Arashi stopped, looking back and forth between Amaya and Naruto. “Is everything understood, now, Amaya?”

“Yes mama.”, Amaya hung her head low with regret.

“I think…I think that ends today’s training. Yep, it does.” Arashi turned from the clearing and started off before being stopped by Amaya’s words.

“WHAT!? But we didn’t even do anything! And you’re already stopping training.” Arashi looked back with a wise look upon her face.

“You learned respect, and when to bite your tongue. Just as I had to learn to do when I was even younger than you. Hm. Live with it.” Arashi then disappeared into the trees, leaving the two young confused ninja.

“May-maybe I should show you the way home.” Naruto said finally breaking the silence of three minutes.

“Home?”

“Yes. This, is your home now. Come on, I’ll get you an apartment.”, the two left the clearing without saying a word…well, until they got to the desk in Naruto’s apartment complex. But as they left, Naruto swore that there were words carved into the tree stump, used for practice. He told himself he would check it out tomorrow.

CHAPTER FIVE

“AMAYA!! You can’t stay with me!”, the two young ones had entered the apartment complex where a heated argument was going on.

“Well were do you expect me to stay??!” Amaya asked to stay with Naruto, who already had his sister to look forward too, so he was not so willing to give up that easily.

“Look, they have an open place! STAY THERE!!!” It turned out that Amaya got her own apartment with the works. (It was nicer than Naruto’s!)

Arashi came in first thing in the morning, which is very hard to catch her doing. It was about six am when Amaya and Naruto were waken from there dreams and good rest.

“Wakie wakie eggs and backie!!”, Arashi cried into each of their rooms waking them up rudely. She already had a meal set up for them. She had actually had to carry Amaya into Naruto’s room. A key to his room had been given to her, just in case.

“Why so early?”, Amaya asked as Naruto was not able to talk just yet with the sleep in his eyes and frown on his face. He did not take kindly to the idea of having to wake up so early every morning.

“Well”, Arashi began with hands clasped together, “I was hoping we could get a head start on the competition. don’t you?”

“W-What competition?” Naruto asked nervously, having been through the chunnin exam, he now knew the true meaning of competition and the importants of knowing what your up against.

“Figure of speech Naruto. No need to worry, yet! You will be having some competition…me and all my men and women. I just sent for all of them. My village is now IMPROSSIBLE to find unless, you already know where it is!”, Arashi said in a sly voice just as three figures walked in the door.

“MOMMY!!!”, a VERY short women ran in to hug Arashi from behind in a tight grip. “Mommy how are you?! How is your new brother?”

“Well Nijiko, he’s fine and how are you I might ask? Oh and Naruto, this is Nijiko and her lunar bear Tsuki! She isn’t really my daughter, but she’s short and I act like a mom to her as I do to you!! Understand?” Arashi answer to the many questions buzzing in Naruto’s and Amaya’s heads.

“You can introduce her but not me?”, a tall dark figure ask, “I need to go do a few things, so it’s alright. I’m see you soon ma’am.” as soon as his words were said, the shadow disappeared as soon as it came.

“Well…I guess I’ll just introduce you guys later. Let’s set out for the training ground, shall we?!”

As they reached the training ground, Naruto thought about looking at what was written on the training stomp, but as he changed directions to go look at it, Arashi pulled him aside saying in a loud whisper, “Never and I mean NEVER go near that stump! It holds bad memories for me and will cause to get them.”

“B-but I just want to see what’s carved in -”, Naruto was cut of by Arashi’s rushed words.

“How do you know there’s a carving?”, Arashi paused for an answer but when none came so said again loader, “How do you there’s a carving there on that stump?!” all Naruto could do was shrug as Arashi walked away, hand to head saying, “Sorry Naruto. It’s just a bad memory, that’s all. Don’t go to that stump and don’t ask about the memory. Just forget it all…ok?!”

“Yeah…ok”, Naruto just stood there, unable to move from amazement. Thoughts of the training stump grew greater and greater instead of shrinking. It was hard to concentrate on anything when thoughts of the stump kept popping up again and again in his mind. Finally it was time to go, and Naruto offered to get the equipment as the others moved on. Just as he saw the last of them, he dropped everything and ran to the stump with the carving.

‘My dreams fulfilled
My heart no longer cold
The sadness is killed
A new brother to hold’

‘I wish it were simple
If I only could see
The smile of your dimple
Looking up at me’

‘But I can not hold you
And I can not see
Your demon is true
And causes pain on me’

‘An old defense
You and I can’t be close
There is a fence
Not a fate that we chose’

“No! No it can’t be. She was talking about me? I can’t believe it…she must have a demon in her too. But what.”, Naruto talked to himself, eyes glued to the stump.

“Naruto!”, Arashi had come back to give him a hand with the equipment, knowing it had been a lot to carry, and her suspicion raising that Naruto had just stayed behind to read the log. “Naruto, I thought I told you NOT to read that log!” there were tears in her eyes, “Why did you read it? Was it not enough to know that it would only cause more questions and even MORE suffering?! DID YOU HAVE TO BRING UP THE PAIN OF MY CHILD HOOD??!!”, now tears were streaming from her eyes as she began to yell. “Now I suppose you’ll want to know everything, start to finish. I guess it’s only fair that you know, I mean you are my brother. But there are things I can not tell you, yet anyways. It is too complex and hard on your still young mind. The real reason I made my own village.”, Arashi was swaying so she sat down on a near by patch of soft grass. Naruto walked over and sat down next to her.

“I-I just wanted to know what was wrong.”, Naruto said to Arashi, who had her face in her hands and was weeping, silently shaking.

Arashi lifted her head slowly, now tears heavily streaming down her face. “I thought if I didn’t tell you, you would never have to forgive me for the thing I did to you.”

“But you never did ANYTHING to me! You’re a really good sister, well…so far as I’ve known you!” Naruto was curious to see if this would cheer her up to her usual self.

“No Naruto. I disserted you. You were born and I was to look after you but I didn’t think I could do it. So my existence was kept hidden from you, hoping that one day, I could be revealed. You were born when I was five! FIVE Naruto! Does that sound like a good mothering age to you?!”, all Naruto could do was listen as his sister pored her every worry into his conscious, “I remember those days. I was alone and confused, you were born, and I thought things would be better…but you too had something placed in you. My spirit is old. Much older that yours!”

“Well of course. I mean you are 18-” Naruto was cut short by Arashi interjecting.

“No I mean my demon, my spirit. What is inside me!” Arashi said loudly punching herself in the chest. “My spirit is called Ashimakase
Neko Iki. Or the ‘Wandering Cat Spirit.’ It was not harming the village like your was. They just wanted to see if I could hold it in, but you were hated were you should have been praised. But I was too scared to confront you.”, Arashi choked up with tears again as she turned to hug Naruto. Not her usual squeeze, but a motherly, light, loving hug, so loving that Naruto realized that he could feel her pain leaking out of her body. He understood that she had waited a long while to tell someone that. “I had started my training at the age of four. By the time I was five I was a shinobi. Just five years later, I became a Jonin, age ten. That was when I considered myself a full fledged ninja…just like Kakashi. Ya know, he was actually very supportive in hard times. I want to be like him, but not his personality. He’s too…well, himself as I am me.”, Arashi looked up into the trees and leaking in sunlight.

Naruto felt alone even though Arashi was next to him. “Why? Why didn’t you tell me in the first place?”, Naruto was looking up to the sky also. He looked to be trying to find an answer the his question.

“I told you I was stupid and young. I had only become a shinobi when you were-”, Arashi’s words were drowned by near by screams.

Naruto looked and Arashi and Arashi looked back at him. They knew what to do. “Naruto, you stay behind me as I check it out. If I tell you to come in, then do, but if I don’t, your little butt better stay behind me! Got it??!” Naruto nodded as they ran off. Nijiko was being attacked by a man with black eyes.

“HE’S COME BACK TO GET ME!”, Amaya screamed as the man looked to his left the see the two approaching.

“Heh. You’ve got yourself a pretty strong group…or so I’ve heard. I wonder how I will kill you Ms. Uzamaki. Quick and painless, of my personal favorite, slow and painful.”, the man snickered for a moment before continuing, “Do you know why I am here?”

“Well, it’s to kill me, isn’t it?”, Arashi smugly said a smile on her face.

“Yes, but do you know why? Don’t answer. It’s because you are training this girl! She was once my student, but she has wronged me. Amaya left me and went to another teacher. One she thought to be wiser…oh she was so wrong. I killed him and all his family.”, a wide grin came upon his face, “It was actually really fun. So I look forward to killing this child,”, his face turned to Arashi. It was twisted into an unimaginable shape, “and then you! I knew she‘d go to you. You see I told her that I was from your village.”, as he said his final peace, he lunged toward Arashi, face still distorted.

“No one will attack her while I stand tall!”, the shadowy figure from before appeared in front of Arashi as to protect her, “Hyôton: Tsubame Fubuki, ("Ice Release: Swallow Snow Storm" )”, as he said this, a million little swallow shaped icicles came from his hand, pining the man to a tree. Most of the swallows going into his body. “Who are you and why do you attack the innocent?”

“Hm. Innocent? I think not! My name is Bango.”

“Well ‘Bango’, you won’t be hurting my sis or anyone else here!”, Naruto had stepped in front of his Arashi.

“NARUTO! I didn’t tell you to get in front of me! GET BACK HERE!!!”, Arashi grabbed the edge of Naruto’s collar to stop him, “What do you think your doing you little idiot!!! I DIDN’T give the signal yet!”

“Yeah, well….who cares! I’m goin’ anyway!” Naruto stomped toward the man face held high.

“Oh no you don’t!” Arashi hit him over the head and yelled, “DON’T YOU HAVE ANY COMMON SENCE!?” this was the first time she had ever yelled at Naruto in public. “Look,” she whispered, “if you want to attack him, do it when I’M done! Okay?!” Naruto nodded since there was nothing else he could really manage to do.
