Well me and my dad are talking. He's just in some mood or another. But I'm not sure if he's talking to my mum...

I'm reading The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Nighteen Eighty-Four and when I get back home I'm going to get back into that Terry Pratchatt book. Oh, and King Lear, and various other things of that kind....

Lol I got Trigun a few days ago. I was up practically all night watching it. That and a cheeky little Terry Gilliam film called Brazil, which I think is a nightmare, but an amazing one I'd like to relive again and again...yesh.
Gareth (henceforth to be known as Chester for obscure reasons) came up to me and tried to "cheer me up" by being all like "Paradise Kiss sucks" and whatnot and I was all like..."I'll beat you to death with my umbrella" and then I dropped the umbrella and everyone was like "Smooooooth."
I got the english translation of the French novel I'm studying, which should be useful.
I sent my letter off to Lucille today. GAH! I'm going to have to get her a birthday card tomorrow and send it off. Holy crap it'll never make it in time...AGH! Ah well, better late than never, right?
I got a new diary. It's a cheapish book with Ruby Gloom as the cover. Promising, right?
OMGAWRSH we were given a surprise test in French today. Listening in French, while the questions and answers were in english - it was so confusing. I got about 2 1/2 out of 15. Woo. I do better at writing and reading anyway. Besides, the whole idea of the French assistant is to help us get better at this listening dealey.
Oh but it is annoying. There is this girl in my class that keeps cracking the most stupid jokes. I mean PUNS and all sorts of crap that is so annoying. The tragic part is that this girl is a naturally funny person - but it all goes totally wrong when she TRIES to be funny.
Oh yes, and my dad isn't speaking to me properly. I don't see why. I got a letter from school and wasn't really looking at where I set it down, and misfortune directed it on top of a greasy pie tin lid. My dad threw the letters on to the floor and for about an hour kept going on about how messy I was, and how pointless it was me even getting letters. That's the thing that annoys me - whever he finds a fault with everyone else he won't FUCKING SHUT UP about it. But when HE does something wrong, it's all smiles and "oh ho ho I've made a jolly mistake, ah well it can't be helped..." YEAH BECAUSE HE'S NOT GOING TO FUCKING SHOUT AT HIMSELF, IS HE?
We are sort of talking, but not by very much. Ah well. This isn't the first time he's done this - it was much worse when I was 11, because I had no idea what I did wrong. I was holding some nails for him, just standing there until he called me for them - but before I knew it he grabbed them out of my hand and said "Standing there in a fucking dream" and slammed the door. The thing is, I was aware of everything, so I have no idea why he decided to snap at me. We didn't speak again for months. I watched him dote on my little sister. But he apologised in his own way.
Ah, perhaps I shouldn't be posting all this. But I just don't understand it. My dad is pretty kind about most stuff, but lately his temper is getting much, much worse. And it's sparked a change in him, like he doesn't like being that way but can't really stop. I don't know why.
First day back
Well this is my first full day back in school, and I am wearing the official senior school tie. It's wierd because, lawfully, I have no obligation - and yet here I am.
I'm studying French, and I'm lost already. I'm studying English, and for a while I felt a little over my head - but I'm good at English, so I'll just hang in and see where I end up. The text we're looking at is Amadeus (anyone seen the movie?). I'm studying History, and the course is basically split in two - English history and European history. Hoho, it's the European bit that sparks my interest.
Government and Politics is new for me, and I have it in about twenty minutes. Wish me luck you guys. The thing is, I'll have to do it because I want to be a journalist, and I guess it would be good to have a grounding in political structures.
The canteens and I have no change for the vendors. I haven't eaten anything (except an apple at breakfast this morning) and I haven't had anything to drink yet. I've got a ten pound note, so I'll spend it on a wee treat after school. Which isn't for another hour and a half. Ah well. Here's one way of losing weight. Damnnation, I'm hungry. And I'm scared to ask the teachers in case I forget to pay them back, or they yell at me - one of the two.
Well I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to visiting anyones pages for a while - been very busy trying to get back into the swing of things. As soon as I get time, I'll visit them all. I love you all!!!

You know, i'd better head off soon because I have to be at the bus station in six minutes. Ah well, Darius can wait ^_^.

Hello
Well I'm in Coleraine library. Lol. This is a great place, very peaceful. Unfortunately earlier, because today is Black Saturday, the marchers were out with their drums and their noise.
For those of you unaware, Northern Ireland is choc-a-bloc with sectarien organizations - the men who wear orange sashes (orange order) and now these ones who wear black sashes. As far as I know, both are "upholders of the Prostestant faith" etc...isn't Protestantism a form of Christianity? WELL AS FAR AS I CAN SEE THESE DUMBBRAINS DON'T ACT EVEN A LITTLE BIT CHRISTIAN, ALWAYS SHOOTING AND FIGHTING WITH THE CATHOLICS - who are also Christian - SO HOW??? ARE THEY UPHOLDING THE PROTESTANT FAITH WHEN THEY DON'T EVEN FOLLOW IT????? THAT! IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, if you don't mind.

I got Cowboy Bebop 3, and Rising Stars of Manga northern ireland and great britain edition. Lol. And a snazzy new outfit - mini skirt and shirt with a corset thingy sort of attached to it. Lol. I must say that I look damn good in it. Lol.

CHIARA IS BACK! SHE'S NOT DEAD!

Chiara is back and she did well in her exams and now she is going to university, and is learning how to drive which means that my best friend won't be around in my school anymore. I'm going to miss me Chiara.
Charlie is the one that gave me the cider, so blame him for my blossoming relationship with alchohol.
It was really funny: J got plastered yesterday and she has this crush on this guy, and they were all touchy feely until we managed to drag them apart. SHe has a crush on this guy, but would prefer that he were sober when he chose to show affection, y'know? Fair enough. Poor guy was sick in a bush, and he looks a little like Shakira from the back.
Hehe, my parents have vanished. Like I said I'm at Chiara's and they rang, but they won't answer the damn fone and now I'm wondering if they've gone to Newcastle without me - cruel people!

Wow. I'm a wee bit dissapointed in the C, because that was for maths - however, it just misses the B by 2 marks. Ah well.
My friends took themselves off for a wee drink, which was fun - I don't drink much, because frankly alcohol doesn't taste very nice. However, Charlie gave me a wee drop of cider which was tasty. Everything else was disgusting though.
