Lol
I've just come fresh (almost) from my Religious Studies exam. I'm religious, so I knew quite a bit of it - isn't that grand? There's quite the Christian phenomenon in my school: born again fundamentalist mentality that me and my compatriots call Happy Clappy's.
They're decent people, don't mistake me, but I just wish they wouldn't keep shoving the Good News down people's throats. There is a massive difference between preaching and dictating. A friend of mine has a brother who is gay - our Happy Clappy friend told her that he was going to hell. Fair enough, these are her beliefs - and mine, to a lesser extent - but I beleive that respect should work both ways. I believe that one can preach by ones deeds: compassion, trust, loyalty and all the good qualities of friendship. I don't beleive that saying to a person that her brother is going to hell will win many followers.
Besides, I don't believe that the Bible is a literal account of events. If you take it literally, it simply doesn't work - I beleive that it's a metaphor. The Genesis story, for example: a day in the time of God making the world could be any number of time. A 'day' to him is endless. This is back before time had meaning.
Well, that's sort of what I beleive. I don't have time to write it all down, and I don't think you could sit here and read it all if I did.
Did you know Hellsing 9 is out???
I wonder if I can get my work-experience in the local paper publsihers...? I soo want to be a journalism. HST is my inspiration. Anyone read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, or even seen the movie? Think that, only not quite so drug-fuelled, and certainly no Johnny Depp - unless he wanted to come, I don't know, it's his choice...lol.
I think that I should hire a car and just drive all over the United Kingdom, writing freelance about the subculture or something...or I could travel through the continent. I could go to Germany and report about the neo-Nazi's.

Well well
I was supposed to be in for a history revision class today - but I can't find it anywhere...so I'm stuck with five days to revise Weimar Germany, Hitler's foreign policy, O'Neill's Northern Ireland reforms and the prelude to Direct Rule. Ah yes, my people's history is a dull and grim thing.
Next year, if I get into sixth form, I want to do History. We do the French Revolution! I love that topic- you're looking at the postings of a true history/Doctor Who geek.
Well well. What to talk about?
I got Bizenghast! It's alright, and the art is brilliant: but the storyline appears a little too rushed in some places. I mean, at one point DInah gets sucked into a tree, becomes some sort of forest spirit, complete with a bark skirt and cobweb wings and converses with a wild boy called Hides - then in the next panal changes back without explanation. Y'see? And at the start, Dinah's signiture is on a contract which means she has to unlock various ghouls and ghosts: why? She didn't sign it herself. Maybe it's one of those continual plots that unveils itself throughout the series - sort of like a Tim Burton version of Harry Potter's storytelling vein.
"There, there."
"Vhere? Vhere?"
~ 'The Producers', Max Bialystock and Franz Liebkind. (LOVE that movie)
I want to ask: am I a good writer? I mean, can I make my meaning pretty clear in the written form? This is something critical to what I want to be, so I need to ask impartial opinions on this subject. Do I draw people on, wanting to read more?
Well, just be honest.
I don't know who's reading this that lives in the United Kingdom, but the government is annoying me so. The Home Office is degenerate: I mean, there was a case of a Ugandan woman who was raped because her government wanted information about her father. She managed to seek asylum here, but now she faces being deported back. While accepting that rape was a hidious crime, the Home Office declares that it can't see why her government would find any further interest if she goes back.
This girl is a link to her father. At 18 year old she is incredibly vulnerable. It is obvious that her father is of interest to the government (for reasons that I don't know). If the government had wanted information on him then, the chances are they would still want it. Their "interest" in her would continue.
It all makes me so mad. I'm sorry for getting all serious and political there, but I needed to vent.
I'll post later, maybe, so ciao ciao for now.

Just did my first exam
I messed up my To Kill A Mockingbird question, because I was running short on time and I had to summerise. I did great in my poetry question, and fairly well in my Our Town question. I'm good at english, so I'm sure I didn't do as badly as a thought. I'm dreading my maths papers, though, and that includes physics.
Well everyone, how are your lives doing?
Well I've read some of Fear and Loathing on the Campaign trail '72, and I like it fine - it's just, I liked Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas better. At any rate, I'm a fan of Gonzo journalism...who wants to be my attorney while we glide down the freeway in a Red Shark with a .44 magnum? I know I want to be a journalist, so I'll tour around and try to find the remnants of a lost era or something, in a commune full of bladdered hippies, perhaps? What about Paris?
WHO'S WITH ME??? Lol. Not really, don't jeapordise your pristine occupations and goals just because some redhead with delusions wants to take a trip. Lol.
Well gawrsh, I think I'm all set to go get me a manga from Replay. Bizenghast - I can finally afford it!!!
Did y'all know there's a sequal to The Rocky Horror Picture Show?? That show being one of my favourites of all time, this sort of comes as a shock to me. I was on my way to my exam, stopping through Asda to get an apple, when there it was: Richard O'Brien mated with some sort of rubber mask. ^_^
It's called Shock Treatment - anyone seen it? Is it any good? I mean, sequels aren't normally worth two words on scrap paper, but this is Richard O'Brien here...
Lol.

Girl supposed to be giving me back my Vietnam notes was in and out of here without seeing me. Lol. THat's silly.
Well, I was reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and I'm just after buying Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72. Anyone read it??
Not much revision going on over here, and my English Exam's tomorrow. What'll I do??????
Morbo is a funny word, isn't it? Lol. I'm going to start calling everyone morbo, just so I can.

Watched Hellsing music video
Yeah. That there music video is soooo cool. It's actually truer to the manga than the actual anime, isn't that VIERD? Lol. But the new OVA series will utterly disregard the present anime and start afresh. I've seen pictures: Alucard looks amazing!
Holy crap. There's some sort of school trip to the library going on here. I feel like a trespasser!!!! There's no-one else on the computers, and I feel like a tresspasser. Now they're all disbanding into groups of three. Heeeelp me.
Well. I'm here for some hours of revision, so when they leave I'll start. Lol. Perfect.

Lol.
Well here I sit until have to go back to school in order to revise maths. Isn't that just peachy?
Chiara's got an exam today, so let's all wish her luck.
My next exam is English Literature. Did anyone else study/Is anyone else studying To Kill A Mockingbird.
There are two English papers. The first is To Kill A Mockingbird, Our Town and poetry questions. The other is basically like creative writing. I'm totally looking forward to the second one. I'm pretty imaginative, and I'm a damned good writer as well. Couldn't you tell? Lol. Nah, I'm just kidding. I'm not as immodest as that. Beleive me.
Well. How is everyone after our fine Welcoming Alucard Home party? I hope morbo, who brought the medical blood, didn't overdo it. There have been nasty cases being so gorged on blood that the merest pin prick is enough to make you burst. Lol.
I think I'll make up an imaginary disease and set up an 'official' site for it. Mananimetonolitus. Your eyes swell up and your hair loses its natural pigment. It can turn bright yellow, green or blue. Occasionally crimson, but that's only when it's all really fargone. If left untreated, one can develope outlines and angles where there were no angles previously.
A nasty disease indeed.

I GOT HELLSING BACK!!!
Sooooo happy. The girl just gave me Hellsing back. This is a big thing!
By the way - guys, I love you all. I was just missing Alucard a little bit too much, but now he has been returned to me...hehe. Good times.
Anywho. Darn that guy I like. Well, *guys* I like. I saw one of them not half an hour ago. The other, I saw yesterday. Both times I was like "wheee" - only not verbally, as that is not a recommended method of sealing your man. Lol.
Well anywho. I can't help thinking that this girl has just bought me a new copy of Hellsing. I mean, it's just a feeling, but it looks barely used. And that's pretty unlikely given that it's supposed to me. Lol. Well, I can't prove it. I'm just glad to have Hellsing in my hands once again. Lol.
Well. Chiara. I HOPE YOU'RE REVISING!
Not really. I'm not that teachy-preachy.
Lol. Well, I think I should have a party in recognition of Alucard's return after a long absence.
Who's with me?

Well.
I've just done my first exam. Drama. It wasn't too bad, but I rambled a little too much. Anyway, that's that out of the way. The next one, I beleive, is English Literature. I'm great at English, but I don't think I'll do well in this next one. It's a closed book paper, y'see. To Kill A Mockingbird. Good Lord, what am I to do??????
Oh well.
Sniff. I wish I had money. Then I'd buy the boots off Bizenghast. That's a figure of speech, becuase Bizenghast is, in fact, a manga and therefore has no boots to speak of. Except those drawn. And why on earth would I want to buy a cut out picture of a pair of boots? Silly person.
Anywho.
I'm looking for Monty Python: Life of Brian. Oh how I want it sooo. ^_^ I love Monty Python. I didin't much like Meaning Of Life, but there you are.
LOVE YOU ALL, especially if you are tall, lithe, male, dark haired, red eyed, with a red coat and hat and black suit, and with two guns - and called Alucard, or any vampiric name spelt backwards. I'm not picky.
LOl.
