I live! Yeah!

Well, okay. I'm back from the Band Camp of Hell, and I finished my first week of school. It's good to be back in school, but putting in 14 hour days isn't exactly healthy. I suppose it's my own fault, seeing as I volunteered for those extra hours after school to help out. So far, I think I'm going to /love/ this year! With one exception. My ex-boyfriend is sitting next to me in 7th-hour Chemistry. Yeah. xP But maybe he'll stop being so emo and annoying and actually talk to me! ...Not gonna happen. D< So, I have a MySpace. Yes. A MySpace. I went against everything I believe in and I made myself a MySpace. If anyone cares, it's "http://www.myspace.com/asterisk_fox". Nyan... = w= I made a grunty! It's so cute! xD It's wearing a hat... :'D Hm... Well, I had a /really/ bad day yesterday. Band Camp sucked. Everyone was telling me that I sucked... I think it was... Lindsey, our band director's wife, that said I was worse than all of the freshmen, including the 8th-grader that we had with us. I wanted to cry so bad when I heard her say that. Actually, I /did/ cry when I got home... It was bad. And Mom keeps trying to make me feel better, but it's only making it worse. She always does that, too. xD I mean, when we first learned work, of course I was having trouble. We had just learned it. And she comes over to me and says, "You're doing something wrong, Honey." Y'think? O.o And then last night she was all, "Just practice more! I don't think you suck. Just get together with Brenna!" Brenna is one of the reasons I sucked so bad yesterday. I mean, she is the flag captain, and whenever I ask for help, she gets annoyed or mad at me because I don't know the work. If she would help me, maybe I /would/ know the work!!! D< GRR!!!!!! Personally, I think she's letting the whole "flag captain" thing go to her head. Either that, or she's taking out her anger on me because she didn't make riffle line. Whatever. At this point, I think it was a mistake for me to join the color guard. I don't know what was better, constantly being told be my Mom how fat I was and that I needed something physical to balance my life, or having to be told that I suck at something that I really love. Yeah, I'm not good at team things, and that's why I didn't join the guard until now, but I don't enjoy doing things by myself unless I know I can do better that way. I'm not the type of person that does well with physical activities, unlike Kokutan. She's /great/ at guard. Oh! That reminds me of another thing that I have to get off my chest... Sorrys, by the way, to those of you reading this. Mom keeps comparing me to Kokutan! "She practices every day and look how good she is!" and "Kokutan knows what she's doing. Ask her for some help." Kokutan has been in guard longer than me, and she's been good at it from the very start. Yeah, she practices, and so do I! I can't get to Kokutan's level at this point. And I /do/ ask Kokutan for help! I do! But she is on the riffle line, and doesn't do everything that I might need help with, because I'm a flag. How is she supposed to help me wit something that she, herself, doesn't even know? "Do to Brenna, then," Mom says. I /have/ gone to Brenna, and she doesn't help! She just gets mad at me, or ignores me, or /something/. - takes a deep breath - Okay... I'm done. - sighs - I'm not sure if I want to continue with Color Guard after this year. I mean, I'll go on to Winter Guard after the marching season is over, but I'm not sure if I'll continue with either of them my senior year. So far, I don't think I'll do the marching season next year. I don't have any experience with winter guard, so I'll wait to make my decision on that. Well, I'm changing my MyO layout to Utawarerumono. This pink is getting annoying. ~Nove saying... I want my puppies... ; ^;

Not dead yet!

I've survived my first week of August Band Camp! Barely. Not much to say really. Only that I got sick and was told to go home on Thursday. Other then that, it's just been drill and learning/working on the work. This guy that I /really/ hate AIMed me today. After making it through over a year of not having to think about him more than 4 times, he totally blew it. I don't even know who told him that. Sure, I may dress like a goth on rare occasion, but like... not even once a month. I only own one pair of goth pants, anyway. I mean, it's usually a hoodie and jeans. Since when was a hoodie and jeans considered goth? It's so stupid. He is so annoying. I read New Moon today/yesterday. No, it's not a manga. It's an amazing series. New Moon is the second book. The first is called Twilight and the third, which just came out, is called Eclipse. And i just need to say this: OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! ZOMG!!!!11one!111eleventytwelve Yeah. xD Mom said that she will take me to get Eclipse later this week. ~<333 I'm /so/ excited!!! Ugh. I have to go to my cousin's sweet sixteen now. I /really/ dislike her. I mean, she puts the itch in b****. Really. Dx Ta for now! ~Nove saying... OMGOMGOMG!!!

All Bark and No Bite...

Hellooooo... I ish sleepeh 'cause I just woke up. xD Anyway, I'm gonna write about the camping adventure I had with Kokutan! We went to Rainbow Lakes. Okay, so as soon as we got to the campground, we looked for a place to set up our camp. We tried to get the same spot that we had last time, but they were all filled up and besides, if one of them hadn't been filled up and we did take it, we would have had no privacy and it would have sucked. So we ended up getting a really cool spot in the forest. We jumped out of the car and set up the tent and everything, then we explored the area around us. It was really neat! But the ground was all gross and spongy because it had rained there earlier. xP But yeah. Anyway, we came back and messed around at the campsite. Before we went to sleep, however, we decided to make some JiffyPop. Now /that/ was funny! Kokutan's mom accidentally messed it up, so we ended up throwing it in the fire. But we grabbed another tin and tried again, this time reading the directions first. x3 It was really tasty! Kokutan and I went into the tent to watch "Crash" on her portable DVD player. The DVD player ended up going all white and like, died. We thing it was the battery. So then we all went to sleep. It was soooooo cold! I mean like, mid-winter night time cold. Yeah. We froze. I was in my sleeping bag with a pair of gloves on, two pairs of socks [[one pair was purple and fuzzy xD]] and I had a hoodie, two pairs of pants, and my Shigure hat on. I was... warm after about an hour, but my face was cold enough to freeze water. Anyway, when we woke up, we started the fire and sat around it for a bit. I read Alchino Vol. 2 [[Thanks Kokutan!]] and after I finished we all got ready for the day, then we went hiking! That was a lot of fun. The trail leads up to a bunch of lakes. The first lake was fun and there was this little boy telling us about the shrimp in the water. x3 He as so cute playing the lake! Anyway, we moved on to the second lake, where this guy was fishing. We didn't want to disturb him [[or the fish he was trying to catch]] so we moved on to the next lake where we had planned of having lunch. When we got there, we jumped around on the rocks and stuff, then when Kokutan's parents caught up, we found a big flat rock on the lake and we ate lunch. Then the guy from the last lake showed up and we all talked briefly about the fishing and we offered him some chicken and stuff... Yeah. Well, then it started to seriously /downpour/. We hurried and packed everything when it started drizzling, and then we headed back to camp. But nuuuu. As soon as we get on the trail, it downpours. xD Ahhh that was so much /fun/! We got lost a lot, but we always ended up finding the trail again, so it's okay. But as soon as we got back to camp, the rain stops. That kinda stuff always happens, huh? xD But yeah, we were all soaked. We changed into dryer stuff and while Kokutan's parents went to work on getting the wet fire to start, Kokutan and I sat in the car and read. Kokutan finished up Model Vol. 1, then I read Model and she read Alchino. [[Model is a /really/ weird manga! It's definitely different then other vampire stuff I've read.]] Once the fire got started, and Kokutan and I got bored with being in the car, we both got out and went into the tent to play card games! We played Michigan Golf a bunch of times, then after Kokutan's dad went to poke the fire and her mom decided to take a nap, Kokutan and I started to play Egyptian Rise [[Or whatever. It has like 50 names... xP]]. We can get vicious when it's just the two of us playing... xD So yeah. We played two games, I won the first, she won the second. Both games were really quick, but then we decided to do a tie-breaker. That game lasted /forever/. xD But it was fun. :3 So then we started to get cold and we all sat around the fire. We ate dinner and made more JiffyPop just because we could, then we went to sleep. But this time we were all better prepared. xD I have a bigger hoodie and a third pair of socks on, plus a blanket in the sleeping bag. :3 The next morning we started packing stuff up and then the car started freaking out. We had originally planned on leaving at about noon, but once the car started freaking out, we decided that it'd be best to hurry and pack, then leave A.S.A.P.! We we ended up leaving at about 9-9.3o. Ish. The car eventually calmed down, which is good... That was our camping adventure! Since I can't believe that it's been this long since I posted, I am going to post about the Harry Potter party that I went to. I dressed up as Dumbledore, beard and everything. I had a fan club, too. And me, being a rabid fan-girl, know how scary it can be to have fan-girls... and boys. It was at a mall, so I went with my friend Enkai to get food. There was people asking "Where's Frodo?" and stupid stuff, but meh. Then as we passed a coffee place, one of the employees came up and asked if I could give her friend a handshake because she likes my costume but was too shy to ask herself. x3 So I gave her a handshake. Then when Enkai was in line at the Panda Express, I leaned up against a pillar. People walking by would jump when they saw me, or laugh as they walked by. It was quite hilarious. But then suddenly I had swarms of people coming and taking pictures of me and stuff. It was /weird/. And then these guys that were totally older then me came up and grabbed my beard and started messing with it and stuff. /That/ was scary... o.o'|| But yeah. So then we headed back to the bookstore and we hung out. After a bit, Enkai and i decided to walk around again, so we did a lap around the mall. It was closing time, so there wasn't many people around this time, but there was this group of guys that we passed and then one of them totally just came up and hugged me! It was like "O.O WTF!?" Yeah... But then Enkai and I walked away and we heard one of the guys go "Bowchikawowow!" and that was even more like "O.o WTF!?!?!?! o.O" xD So we went back to the bookstore and then the festivities started. My aunt showed up, and it was fun. But during the Great Snape Debate [[I was on the Snape = friend side :3]], everyone said that my theories were wrong and that I should just stop talking because I was making a fool out of myself, but y'know what? /Every single one of my theories was CORRECT/! HA! But yeah. x3 I got my picture taken and it might have been put in the newspaper! Ionno for sure, because I don't get the newspaper and even if I did, it would have been put in the local edition for where the bookstore was. And I don't live near there. ; ^; So yeah. It was a blast, and even my aunt had fun. x3 I was a bit annoyed with Kokutan' boyfriend, though, and a little bit with Kokutan and a friend from gaurd because they wanted to read New Moon [[Kokutan's boyfriend has a different book]]. I mean, I was just as addicted to New moon as those two were, but I stopped myself because I came to have fun at the party and meet other fans, not to read New Moon. Anyway, Enkai and I ended up having a lot of fun. We participated in almost everything. Kokutan and Peach [[friend from guard]] did their own thing and didn't really participate in much, and Dravoc [[Kokutan's boyfriend]] just read the whole time I think. I didn't think that he enjoyed himself. Actually, I think the only reason he came was because Kokutan was gonna be there. xP Anyway, while we were there, Peach was stalked by this one guy. And Enkai knew him from Teen Court. Then after we started talking, he and I both realized that we knew each other, too! We both went to the same middle school. I was surprised. Of course he didn't recognize me at first because of my costume, and I didn't recognize him because he's changed a lot in the past almost-three years. But anyway, when I finally found out who he was, things got a bit awkward for me. See, he used to have a crush on me, but back then, I didn't even realize it when it was obvious. And he didn't even really try to let me know until the very last chance possible. We were at Six Flags for our last day of middle school, and he starting hinting that he wanted to spend time with me alone about an hour before it was time to leave. I was confused at first, because we've never really talked or hung out or anything, so me, being the idiot that I am, didn't realize what he was trying to do. xP So yeah. It was weird seeing him at the party. xD I went of topic a bit. O.o Enkai and I got our books and we all headed home. Enkai stayed over, and so as not to be rude, neither of us read our books. We both started when Enkai went home, though. :3 It was a great book! I was a bit annoyed that barely any of it took place at Hogwarts, but it was still one of the best books of the series. :3 w00t! Okay, so that's it for the party. Nicky, our color guard instructor is really sick, so we haven't had practice, but I think we do tonight. I hope so. August Band Camp starts on Monday, and I'm not at all read for it... it's gonna be soooo damn /hot/!!! ; ^; I'm gonna die from heat stroke or something, I know it... So if I don't post but the time September starts, assume that I'm dead and Band Camp killed me. xD Today, I think I'm going to work on my painting. I haven't touched it since summer began and school is starting in less than a month. I need to get it at least closed to finished. xP Kokutan and I are gonna try our best to make a manga. I'm hoping that it will turn out okay, but we are both /very/ new at this... maybe we'll be able to make in into a webcomic! I think that would be the most awesome thing ever! Chances of us making into a webcomic, however, are almost zero. ; ^; Ahh well. I'm annoyed with my step-dad. He lets my brothers get away with things that he won't let me or my sister get away with. He makes me turn off my computer for the stupidest reason, and it's not even a correct reason. He says that leaving a computer on will fry its power source, but it won't. Not as long as it's plugged into a serge protector. xP But he won't listen. He makes me turn of my computer because it's a waste of electricity, yet he lets my brother Jeremy leave his lights and his stereo and his TV and his other electronics on and Jeremy never gets chewed out. It's totally stupid and if he asks me to to do something stupid again, I'm totally gonna get in his face about it. He also gives me crap about stuff like the dishwasher, but no one else. I'm probably the best kid when it comes to stuff that he gets mad about, and he always gets on my case, or my sisters case about them. Never his two boys. Nope never. Unless it's obvious that they are at fault, I mean. I'm gonna get in his face about that, too. I mean, I've been putting up with this crap for years, and I've been tired of it for years. I should have acted long ago, but I'm a coward and didn't do it when I first should have. xP I hope he doesn't get too mad at me... my step-dad is /scary/ when he's mad... Anyway, I can't think of anything else to post, so I'm out. ~Nove saying... The rabid squirrel will kill you in your sleep... Muwahahaha!

I've been horrible pabout posting. xP Sorrys.

Well, today started out like crap, and I'm not really expecting it to get any better. It started out bad from the moment I woke up. Literally. Mother came to wake me up at 7.oo, and she poked me, then started yelling at me, telling me these really mean things. Yeah... Summer has been kinda boring, and I can't wait for school to start up again. I really miss my friends and stuff. I don't really want to go back to school for the excitement of the new year, of my new classes or anything. I want to go back for the Art room and the Art Club. Nowadays, I'd rather be there than my own home. I could live happily in the Art Room. ~<3 xD I've been trying to get back into video games, and I'll start and play for hours, but the next day, I'll forget about it. I just started playing FFVIII again, because I've never been interested enough to beat it. So I've gotten farther then I normally do, but I have to drive to play it anymore. Maybe Mom was right, and I should take a break from my computer. [[; ^;]] I also need to finish working on cleaning my room. I took all the stuff under my art table out to re-organize it, and put the books on my shelf and whatnot, but I got distracted and there are piles of old sketchbooks and paints and other stuff all around my bed. xD I should finish that today... It'd hopefully make Mom get off my case. xP Anyway, that's enough of my emo-ness. Kokutan has just informed me about a Death Note quiz, and I /must/ take it... ~Nove saying... Nooooooo! L!!!! ; ^;

Puppies! ^ w^

Okay, I lied. I'm not going to post about puppies. xD I'm hoping to see my freind Neko-chan some time soon. She is leaving the state for a bit on the 5th, so I need to see her before then. But it really stinks because that don't give me a lot of time. I have a bunch of stuff to take care of before then, and I have other plans, too. Nyan. I hope I'll get to see her even though it might be hard. I want to work on my painting! xP xD My dog, Browny, is trying to catch a fly. It's really amusing. :3 She's so cute! ~<3 I paid off my house on Animal Crossing: Wild World! Now I get a new floor added to my house, so I'll have more room to store my stuff. x3 Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until tomorrow before I can start decorating. I worked really hard trying to get my computer all cleaned up yesterday, and then I left it on when I went to color guard practice. My step-dad came in and turning it off! He used the power button, and not the shutdown thing, so now all of my hard work was lost! ; ^; I have to do all of that over again! I spent hours on it! But of course, he's the type of person that says it's bad for a computer to be on all the time. My computer is the type that runs better when it's on all of the time, so now it's sooo unbeleiveably slloooowwwwww! xP Ahh well. Today is going to be full of cleaning! Yeah! So, I better go fold that laundry that has been sitting here in a pile for over a week... It's gonna be soooo wrinkly! xD ~Nove saying... Rock sex! xD Sorrys... it's a stretch from guard practice last night. >.>

Ahh... I want some tea. = w=

Hello! I've been horrible about posting... I'll try to be better. ^ w^ Right now, I'm trying to get more organized. I am going to clean up my room and then I'll clean up my iTunes, then my computer. It's gonna be a lot of work, since I have to save a bunch of video files to disks and then delete them from my copmuter. Ugh. It's gonna suck, but I need to free up some room. I know that I promised my friend that I wouldn't watch the rest of Tokyo Mew Mew without her, but she has already seen it all, and I don't get her over here much. I'm going to continue. I hope she forgives me. Later on I'm gonna re-do my page! Yeah! I'm gonna make it... Loveless ot Host Club. I don't know yet. ^ w^ Last weekend I got to go to the Renaissance Festival! It was so much fun! I bought myself a pair of rat pants [[The pants that pirates wore back then! :3]], two new tails, and a really pretty piece of hand jewelery. We saw Puke and Snot again this year, and next year when I have more money, I'm so buying their DVDs! xD We also saw the Well Washing Wenches. They were hilarious. During the last joust of the day, one of the people fell off of their horses. It's was kinda scary. But he was okay, and made it seem like the person he was jousting against made him horse do that. One kid even asked if that was a staged fall. xD But yeah. I hope to go again this summer before it leaves. I won't have any more spending money, though. ; ^; I have a painting that I need to work on, but I don't get any motivation to work on it unless I'm just about to go to sleep. And then I'm too tired because I go to sleep at like, 11.3o-midnight. Nyan. I need to get off the computer and actually do it some time this week. Wow, I'm procrastinating a lot right now! O.o I have laundry I ned to finish and bedding I need to put away. [[I just took the bedding that you use of the dryer Kokutan! ^ w^]] Guard practice tonight! w00t! Kokutan helped me with some spinning yesterday. I need to do some spins before practice today. I think I'll do that after I post. > w< Well, have fun everybody! ~Nove saying... Whooo~!

Okay, so I'm going to set up a website! It's going to be fairytailsonline.net! Yes, it is supoosed to be fairy/tails/online. I did that on purpose. Anyway, it's gonna be really cool because a bunch of crafty freinds of mine and myself will be posting pics of what we make, and eventually sell stuff. Yeah... I'm watching "The Sixth Sense". Great movie. My copy of .hack//ROOTS /sucks/! I want to keep watching it, but the sound doesn't match the the visual, and the subtitles sometimes don't appear, or aren't matched with the voices and is skips a /lot/. - w- Nyan~. I promised Kokutan that I woudn't watch anymore without her, too. I also promised another friend that I wouldn't watch Tokyo Mew Mew without her, so I'm pretty anime-less right now. xP I wanna go back to school, and it's not even been a full month since I left! WTC!? Yesterday I went to a grad. party. It was awesome! At the end, we played this fun game called "Fugitive". Basically, you get into smal teams and one team is in a car. The team in the car are the cops and the rest are fugitives. The fugitives have to run to a chosen place without getting caught. The first ones there win. If your caught, you become a cop. xD Kokutan and I /almost/ won, but we took a wrong turn onto a different street, and ended up being caught. ; ^; Sooo clossse! It was a blast though! = w= ~Nove saying... There is no such thing as a free lunch...

I'm at the Library! Yay!

I'm hanging out with a freind from color guard today at the library. We read manga and stuff. I read Princess Tutu, and she's finishing up Magic Knight Rayearth as I type this up. Anyway, the manga and the anime for Princess Tutu are very similar, which is good, but in the anime they translated the main character's name into English, and her name means Duck. I think Duck is a cuter name, so I'll call her Duck instead. x3 While walking around Olde Town, we stopped into the cute little tea shop and picked up so delicious smelling tea. I can't wait to try it. We also stopped into this little tarot reading place, and it made me and my friend want to get back into the Wiccan religion. If anyone has a problem with that, please note that I'm not bashing your religions,and if you want to bash the wiccan religion, make sure you know what it's about before you start making yourself sound like an idiot. And no. It's not devil-worshiping, so don't even bring that up. Sorrys about my little rant there, but I'm tired of people having a problem with a religion that they don't know about. When I talk about what I think are bad religions, I at least know about the religion itself and only talk about what I /don't/ agree with. xP Okay. I'm done. Really. Anyway, I started watching the new .hack series, .hack//ROOTS with Kokutan. I think I posted this in my last post... Meh. But yeah. I'm obsessed with it right now and want to watch more, but I'm being nice and I'm waiting for Kokutan to come over again so that we can watch together. I'm also watching Tokyo Mew Mew. It's really cute, and funny, and it so totally a kids anime, but I don't care. >w< I actually really like it, and the art is good, and the storyline is... good enough to still be interesting. My color guard friend lent me volumes 2-5 of Chobits, so I'm reading those now. The story is really good. Chii is soooo cute! ~<3 NDK is coming soon! w00t! I bought the fabric for my dress. Instead of going as Pepper from Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar, we decided that we would go as characters from Godchild. I'm going to be Mary, and I'm going to wear the dress that she is wearing on the cover of volume 2. The red one with te black trim and white under-stiffs. Yeah. It's gonna rock. Wow, my arm hurts from typing at this awqward angle, so yeah, I'm gonna go. Bye! ~Nove saying... "I can't feel texts!" ~Friend from color guard

That was sooo much /fun/!

School is out now, so that means summer has begun! But the start of summer also means the start of Band Camp. Yesterday was the freshmen band camp. Even though I'm not a freshmen I still had to go because I'm basically a freshmen in the color guard. Anyway, the morning was fun, but after lunch it was just like D: and it was really hard to work. And the entire day, we only get to spin our flags for less than a half hour. It was really stupid. But it was still fun. After Band camp, I went to RMFC 2007! RMFC stands for Rocky Mountain Fur Con. Gawd that was a /blast/! My friends Jasmine, Joe, Robbie, and Willi all went, and Robbie even won us some sushi. He got extra sushi for just being Robbie, too! See, he wasn't quite paying attention when Free Fox called his name, and he was all like, "Whaaa...?" and Free Fox says, "Stand up." So Robbie stood up. Then Free Fox says, "Now take off all your clothes and lay on the table." Robbie being Robbie, our little group knew exactly what was going to happen... Robbie started pulling at his shirt. xD So Free Fox starts laughing and says, "Ahh no! I was joking. Remember, this is a PG-13 con!" So Robbie stops pulling at his shirt. Free Fox then tells him that he gets extra sushi for standing up. Ahh, that was so funny. But whenever Willi and I see Free Fox in his fursuit, he have to hug him. It's been tradition since NDK last year. But this year... I got to /dance/ with him! w00t! I <3 Free Fox. xD But yeah... We got to see a lot of cool fursuits and meet a lot of awesome people. We got to see this Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean in wolf form! At least, I think it was a wolf... I can't remember right now. I'm too tired to remember. x3 Anyway, I'm going to leave you all with a quote that only Kokutan will get. w00t

I'm over at Kokutan's house, waiting for a raply on Gaia. I logged on as my guy account and I was just going to spam this guy at school's inbox with PMs, but then he started telling me all about his love-life and stuff. I really can't stand him. Even though I don't like him, please don't think that I'm going to tell everybody what he's told me. I'm not mean like that... I hope that he doesn't find out it's me, because I think it'd hurt him.
