All Bark and No Bite...

Hellooooo... I ish sleepeh 'cause I just woke up. xD Anyway, I'm gonna write about the camping adventure I had with Kokutan! We went to Rainbow Lakes. Okay, so as soon as we got to the campground, we looked for a place to set up our camp. We tried to get the same spot that we had last time, but they were all filled up and besides, if one of them hadn't been filled up and we did take it, we would have had no privacy and it would have sucked. So we ended up getting a really cool spot in the forest. We jumped out of the car and set up the tent and everything, then we explored the area around us. It was really neat! But the ground was all gross and spongy because it had rained there earlier. xP But yeah. Anyway, we came back and messed around at the campsite. Before we went to sleep, however, we decided to make some JiffyPop. Now /that/ was funny! Kokutan's mom accidentally messed it up, so we ended up throwing it in the fire. But we grabbed another tin and tried again, this time reading the directions first. x3 It was really tasty! Kokutan and I went into the tent to watch "Crash" on her portable DVD player. The DVD player ended up going all white and like, died. We thing it was the battery. So then we all went to sleep. It was soooooo cold! I mean like, mid-winter night time cold. Yeah. We froze. I was in my sleeping bag with a pair of gloves on, two pairs of socks [[one pair was purple and fuzzy xD]] and I had a hoodie, two pairs of pants, and my Shigure hat on. I was... warm after about an hour, but my face was cold enough to freeze water. Anyway, when we woke up, we started the fire and sat around it for a bit. I read Alchino Vol. 2 [[Thanks Kokutan!]] and after I finished we all got ready for the day, then we went hiking! That was a lot of fun. The trail leads up to a bunch of lakes. The first lake was fun and there was this little boy telling us about the shrimp in the water. x3 He as so cute playing the lake! Anyway, we moved on to the second lake, where this guy was fishing. We didn't want to disturb him [[or the fish he was trying to catch]] so we moved on to the next lake where we had planned of having lunch. When we got there, we jumped around on the rocks and stuff, then when Kokutan's parents caught up, we found a big flat rock on the lake and we ate lunch. Then the guy from the last lake showed up and we all talked briefly about the fishing and we offered him some chicken and stuff... Yeah. Well, then it started to seriously /downpour/. We hurried and packed everything when it started drizzling, and then we headed back to camp. But nuuuu. As soon as we get on the trail, it downpours. xD Ahhh that was so much /fun/! We got lost a lot, but we always ended up finding the trail again, so it's okay. But as soon as we got back to camp, the rain stops. That kinda stuff always happens, huh? xD But yeah, we were all soaked. We changed into dryer stuff and while Kokutan's parents went to work on getting the wet fire to start, Kokutan and I sat in the car and read. Kokutan finished up Model Vol. 1, then I read Model and she read Alchino. [[Model is a /really/ weird manga! It's definitely different then other vampire stuff I've read.]] Once the fire got started, and Kokutan and I got bored with being in the car, we both got out and went into the tent to play card games! We played Michigan Golf a bunch of times, then after Kokutan's dad went to poke the fire and her mom decided to take a nap, Kokutan and I started to play Egyptian Rise [[Or whatever. It has like 50 names... xP]]. We can get vicious when it's just the two of us playing... xD So yeah. We played two games, I won the first, she won the second. Both games were really quick, but then we decided to do a tie-breaker. That game lasted /forever/. xD But it was fun. :3 So then we started to get cold and we all sat around the fire. We ate dinner and made more JiffyPop just because we could, then we went to sleep. But this time we were all better prepared. xD I have a bigger hoodie and a third pair of socks on, plus a blanket in the sleeping bag. :3 The next morning we started packing stuff up and then the car started freaking out. We had originally planned on leaving at about noon, but once the car started freaking out, we decided that it'd be best to hurry and pack, then leave A.S.A.P.! We we ended up leaving at about 9-9.3o. Ish. The car eventually calmed down, which is good... That was our camping adventure! Since I can't believe that it's been this long since I posted, I am going to post about the Harry Potter party that I went to. I dressed up as Dumbledore, beard and everything. I had a fan club, too. And me, being a rabid fan-girl, know how scary it can be to have fan-girls... and boys. It was at a mall, so I went with my friend Enkai to get food. There was people asking "Where's Frodo?" and stupid stuff, but meh. Then as we passed a coffee place, one of the employees came up and asked if I could give her friend a handshake because she likes my costume but was too shy to ask herself. x3 So I gave her a handshake. Then when Enkai was in line at the Panda Express, I leaned up against a pillar. People walking by would jump when they saw me, or laugh as they walked by. It was quite hilarious. But then suddenly I had swarms of people coming and taking pictures of me and stuff. It was /weird/. And then these guys that were totally older then me came up and grabbed my beard and started messing with it and stuff. /That/ was scary... o.o'|| But yeah. So then we headed back to the bookstore and we hung out. After a bit, Enkai and i decided to walk around again, so we did a lap around the mall. It was closing time, so there wasn't many people around this time, but there was this group of guys that we passed and then one of them totally just came up and hugged me! It was like "O.O WTF!?" Yeah... But then Enkai and I walked away and we heard one of the guys go "Bowchikawowow!" and that was even more like "O.o WTF!?!?!?! o.O" xD So we went back to the bookstore and then the festivities started. My aunt showed up, and it was fun. But during the Great Snape Debate [[I was on the Snape = friend side :3]], everyone said that my theories were wrong and that I should just stop talking because I was making a fool out of myself, but y'know what? /Every single one of my theories was CORRECT/! HA! But yeah. x3 I got my picture taken and it might have been put in the newspaper! Ionno for sure, because I don't get the newspaper and even if I did, it would have been put in the local edition for where the bookstore was. And I don't live near there. ; ^; So yeah. It was a blast, and even my aunt had fun. x3 I was a bit annoyed with Kokutan' boyfriend, though, and a little bit with Kokutan and a friend from gaurd because they wanted to read New Moon [[Kokutan's boyfriend has a different book]]. I mean, I was just as addicted to New moon as those two were, but I stopped myself because I came to have fun at the party and meet other fans, not to read New Moon. Anyway, Enkai and I ended up having a lot of fun. We participated in almost everything. Kokutan and Peach [[friend from guard]] did their own thing and didn't really participate in much, and Dravoc [[Kokutan's boyfriend]] just read the whole time I think. I didn't think that he enjoyed himself. Actually, I think the only reason he came was because Kokutan was gonna be there. xP Anyway, while we were there, Peach was stalked by this one guy. And Enkai knew him from Teen Court. Then after we started talking, he and I both realized that we knew each other, too! We both went to the same middle school. I was surprised. Of course he didn't recognize me at first because of my costume, and I didn't recognize him because he's changed a lot in the past almost-three years. But anyway, when I finally found out who he was, things got a bit awkward for me. See, he used to have a crush on me, but back then, I didn't even realize it when it was obvious. And he didn't even really try to let me know until the very last chance possible. We were at Six Flags for our last day of middle school, and he starting hinting that he wanted to spend time with me alone about an hour before it was time to leave. I was confused at first, because we've never really talked or hung out or anything, so me, being the idiot that I am, didn't realize what he was trying to do. xP So yeah. It was weird seeing him at the party. xD I went of topic a bit. O.o Enkai and I got our books and we all headed home. Enkai stayed over, and so as not to be rude, neither of us read our books. We both started when Enkai went home, though. :3 It was a great book! I was a bit annoyed that barely any of it took place at Hogwarts, but it was still one of the best books of the series. :3 w00t! Okay, so that's it for the party. Nicky, our color guard instructor is really sick, so we haven't had practice, but I think we do tonight. I hope so. August Band Camp starts on Monday, and I'm not at all read for it... it's gonna be soooo damn /hot/!!! ; ^; I'm gonna die from heat stroke or something, I know it... So if I don't post but the time September starts, assume that I'm dead and Band Camp killed me. xD Today, I think I'm going to work on my painting. I haven't touched it since summer began and school is starting in less than a month. I need to get it at least closed to finished. xP Kokutan and I are gonna try our best to make a manga. I'm hoping that it will turn out okay, but we are both /very/ new at this... maybe we'll be able to make in into a webcomic! I think that would be the most awesome thing ever! Chances of us making into a webcomic, however, are almost zero. ; ^; Ahh well. I'm annoyed with my step-dad. He lets my brothers get away with things that he won't let me or my sister get away with. He makes me turn off my computer for the stupidest reason, and it's not even a correct reason. He says that leaving a computer on will fry its power source, but it won't. Not as long as it's plugged into a serge protector. xP But he won't listen. He makes me turn of my computer because it's a waste of electricity, yet he lets my brother Jeremy leave his lights and his stereo and his TV and his other electronics on and Jeremy never gets chewed out. It's totally stupid and if he asks me to to do something stupid again, I'm totally gonna get in his face about it. He also gives me crap about stuff like the dishwasher, but no one else. I'm probably the best kid when it comes to stuff that he gets mad about, and he always gets on my case, or my sisters case about them. Never his two boys. Nope never. Unless it's obvious that they are at fault, I mean. I'm gonna get in his face about that, too. I mean, I've been putting up with this crap for years, and I've been tired of it for years. I should have acted long ago, but I'm a coward and didn't do it when I first should have. xP I hope he doesn't get too mad at me... my step-dad is /scary/ when he's mad... Anyway, I can't think of anything else to post, so I'm out. ~Nove saying... The rabid squirrel will kill you in your sleep... Muwahahaha!
