'allo.
today will be boring. i think. i'm stuck with my older sister. everyone in the house is making me go to the mall with her -_-'
oh well. sorry i didn't get to visit most of you guys yesterday! i'll visit ya'll later today when i get back from the mall.
Anime Focus for today:
You're Under Arrest
You're Under Arrest is the story of two young police women in the Bokuto precinct of the Tokyo PD. Natsume is the newcomer, a gearhead and tomboy in love with motorcycles. Miyuki is a sweet, somewhat sedate veteran with the skills of a master mechanic. Unfortunately, their first meeting doesn't go so well, especially when the speeding Natsume almost gets arrested by Miyuki!
You might think that things couldn't get any worse, but add to the works a little minicar that's terrorizing the town, the romantic overtures of bike-cop Kenny, an impending typhoon, a pregnant kitty, and a squad of tots trying to get Natsumi to come to their school play, and you've got two busy cops! You'd think they wouldn't have any time for police work, hmm? The OVA series concentrates primarily on their developing friendship, while the manga takes place after they have become friends, and concentrates on the various adventures that they and their fellow officers have.
Some of the most detailed animation ever executed for cars and motorcycles highlights the OVA. Both created by Kousuke Fujishima, the man also behind the very successful Oh My Goddess!
not a lot of people are really familiar with this anime but it's really worth watching.
