   well, i did the optional essay. it was a contest for the rest of the school with cash prizes so i figured that if i'm writing the cursed thing then i'm sure as heck gonna enter it. i hand wrote the final copies only to find out it has to be typed. so i just let it be. i doubt i would've won anyway. although i could have used that 30 bucks.

   aren't optional essays optional? because mrs dybek (my crazy english teacher) assigned an essay that is optional for the rest of the school. the topic is supposed to be about barriers between groups of people and stuff. i told her that i wouldn't have much to write about because i dont have a group and she said thats why the class was discussing it. then she said it was supposed to be from our own feelings and opinoins. i hate it when she says stuff to contradict herself. it's so annoying because either way i'll get in trouble.

   this is the closest smiley for anger, sooo...
i have just tried to scan my drawings and mabye i'm doing something wrong. or mabye the scanner is a stupid lump of poo! (i'm going with theory #2) if you see my evil pear drawing then you'll know. that evil pear drawing was the best pic after they went through the scanner. well, they're all fine if i put it in the kodakImg except i can't save it to .jpg but when i put it in the Photoexpress, it just comes up as squiggles or a few dots. mabye thats because i draw lightly. or mabye it too, is a stupid lump of poo.(jeez what's with the rhymes?) i think i'll have to just take pictures and then scan those and put those up. (sigh) oh well, now i can get around to taking pictures of my friends which i've been meaning to do ever since i found out i'm moving. (if anyone is in the military or is going to be, don't have kids until you're retired or don't at all. i mean the seeing the world is fun and all but it turns them into very introverted pessimists who only make three friends in four years. who knows, mabye it doesn't affect every one like that but it did to me)
