From Savery Unto Death: Chapter 1 How I Got Here
My name is (currently) Tsuki Tora. I was born and raised in America by my parents. My real name is Jasmin Quan. It's a pretty common name here in wouisiana, and until I was 19 I lead a pretty common life (except for all the moving). Everyday was regular and boring, it even started to become routine. Everything in my life was just fine until November 14, 1915. It was my 19th birthday, and it all started at midnight.
You see, little did I know, my parents got into a little bit of trouble before I was born. Now this was before they knew how much children mean to a parent, but, thankfully, they wanted to wait until I was grown to tell me the truth so that they could raise me. The truth I'm talking about is what my parents promised to give upin order to get out of this trouble.
It all happened about a month before I was born. My mother and father were in need of money. Father had just been fired from his job because he missed too many days. He was needed at home to care for my mother.
He was walking up to the unemployment office when he saw somethig that seemed very unusual. It was an alley between a gas station and the unemployment office. Now I know what you're thinking, how is an alley unusual? It's unusual because there are no alleys in the country.
My father, being the curious person that he is, went down the alley to see where it led. At the end of the alley he met a strange looking man (who I would later know as Akamaru Tatsu). He looked very wealthy yet strange at the same time. He had skin as pale as the full moon on a clear winter night. His eyes glowed with an otherworldly fire. He offerd to heve my father $20,000 for the next 3 years if by the end fo those 3 years my father promised to give up anything the man asked for. My father, against his better jukgement, acepted the deal.
After that day, for the next 3 years my father met with the man and recieved a check for $20,000 and that was all he saw of hem. At the end of the 3rd year the man paid a veset to our home. He and my parents wint into another room to talk. I was too young to understand anything that was going on, but I remember my mother crying, whin I asked her what was wrong she didn't say anything. The only response I got was the sound of her crying even harder than before. What I didn't know was that the man had asked my parents to give me up on my 19th birthday to a man named Cedric.
After the man left, we packed everything up and started to move around a lot. Every time we moved my parents have my a different name. They told me to use that name but never ever forget the first name they ever gave me.
It was about 10:00p.m. on my birthday when my parents told my the truth, I was to be given to a man named Cedric as a slave. Iasked them to reconsider but they told my that they had already signed a contract and couldn't go back. They stayed with me until he came to get me. He blindfolded me and shoved me into a car. That was the last I ever saw of my parents.
