yay i'm still waaay into peacemaker again XD
i've not forgotten saiyuki though, it's an awesome anime too. and im sure i'll have a saiyuki theme again soon, but for now it's fun to have PMK.
well, i've been looking through my pmk stuff on the pc, and i found this. it's from volume three of the anime i think, but i typed it from the subtitles myself:

It's already been a year since we came to Mibu.
I am now the captain of the First Unit as well.
All sorts of things have happened.
Bright summer days,
and bloody days of rain.
But I haven't changed all that much, you know.
I just take up my sword in order to protect those precious to me.
In order to protect those by my side and those at my back,
I take up my sword.
The way of the sword is like a single ray of light.
Take one false step,
and you will plunge into darkness to become a fiend.
That is what you once said.
But I am fine with that.
In order to follow the will of the one I cherish,
I will become a demon.
I do not care if I am called a murderer or a Wolf of Mibu.
As long as the banner of truth is along the path we travel...
Within the stillness, flower and water are separated in darkness.
