I forgot to mention it
I went to see Spiderman 3 last week...

Good movie.
But as my friend already said on his webpage, the movie was too american Spiderman than the actual Comic is.

I mean, When he goes in the crowd, gives fives to everyone, shae hands and greet peoples, then when he does his super handstand. That's far from the modesty of a hero. Nothing is less heroic than a Hero screaming everywhere to everyone that he is one. I dunno, In the Comic he never did that kinda stuff. I didn't even saw him interact with a citizen in the comic and there, he speaks to everyone like it was okay.

Then when he runs with the american flag on his side. I'm sorry but if that wasn't here to promote the fact that Spiderman is a big and true Hero from the Great United States of America I agree at eating my socks.

And to speak frankly, The Venom Saga from the original Spiderman Cartoon by Marvel was, storywise, superior to the Movie and how they portrayed Venom as a merciless killer. Well, I agree that in the Comic Venom is also a merciless killer, but even when he tries to take his revenge on Peter Parker we can still see some sense and humanity in Brock(Venom's human self) and we can see that he just need to fill a space left out because Spiderman made him lose everything. In the Movie he was the Same Brock(much more hip and young compared to the real Eddie Brock) But he was much more jerk even from the start. In the Cartoon, Brock is a character around since a long time before to become Venom and he starts as a reporter...not very evil but has a side of jerkness compared to the movie's Brock that I considered a Jerk since the first time he spoke to Spiderman. Then when he becomes Venom he becomes FULLY evil. Like there was no more humanity in him and that he just went out on a huge rampage. At a point in the Comic, Eddie Brock tries to separate with The Symbiote on his own will and take it back only to have the necessary power to save the woman he loved. he even teamed up with Spiderman at that moment. If you ask me they should have taken Carnage if they wanted a crazed man with killful ambitions.

And now for the Review:

Resume: It's Peter Parker, and he's very happy, so happy that it makes him go cocky and stop bothering about people around him(which is Faaaar from the true Peter Parker from Marvel). So since he think about his little self too much, some major shit begins to fall on his head and he get all confused. Then a Strange entity release his inner bad self and he causes even more trouble and in the end of all his evilness and selfishness he lay down and realise he was a big meanie so he goes out with his old self to repair all his mistakes. That's Classic to every good Holiwood dramatic productions right?

The Overall movie was great though, but the strong aspect of the movie was the Special effects, The fights, the 3D(Even though there was a part where I could clearly see Peter Parker as a computer animated 3D dude.) was well done. However the general plot was inexact compared to the comic, The two other movies were far more accurate to the comic than the third so that bothered me a bit since I saw many scenes where I ended up telling myself: "Hey that didn't even happen!". And the General Plot was filled with drama...Lots of Drama...Well too much drama to the point it becomes cheezy and annoying especially for a movie that is supposed to be action based. This was the major thing that annoyed me in this movie with the innacuracy and the American flag. Because We all agree that Spiderman since it's very beginning as a shitty badly animated but still good 70's cartoon to the time when Marvel made a better improved Serie we can all still listen to is supposed to be an action flick where Peter Parker, Average reporter and photograph has the secret identity of Spiderman and kicks Vilainous butts for the pleasure of overexcited 8 years old kids in need of Superhero action. Well this movie , even though MILDLY filled with major fights was more of a dramatic movie that tries too much to have a moral rather than fighting. With everything that happens to Peter Parker, that is, by the way, more and more portrayed as a huge geek with a Loser's life, we tend to say "Omg I don't want this to happen to me" and then when the movie ends we say: "You know...I Learned something, When your hapiness gets to your head you tend to forget about the people around and it can hurt the hearty heart of your beloved!" Why? Because the Moral of the movie is as Obvious as what I just wrote down. In short, The whole plot was cheezy and that annoyed me most.

To sums this up: The Whole movie was excellent, Special effects:Gold, Character acting, good(I don't really like these actors)Venom: Didn't like the movie version. and Fighting: Good although there were not enough for a movie based on a Superhero who kicks butts. I didn't like the plot and the Flag(I'll never stop quoting this one) So I'll give the movie a good 7/10.
Spiderman 3 is a Movie that is good for those who never watched a single episode of the Marvel Cartoon and only watched the movies or never watched any of this before, this is a movie filled with excellent visuals, brand new storyline and plot with a new enemy. And for those who were fans of Spiderman before(personally I only've seen few episodes plus the whole Venom Saga before to see the Movie) This movie is still good but for thsoe who expected to see an accurate reproduction of what happens in the Venom saga you will be decieved as I was. For the Spiderman Fans the Movie could be considered as a spin-off story or a Remake, but since it's Holywood we cannot expect anything else than this movie from them. this is a huge masterpiece with a big, flashy "HOLYWOOD" Signature.

That's it for the review, sorry I always makes my reviews far too long, if you have the courgae to read then go see the movie, it worth it.
