Soooo...hey!....now, you're an allstar, get your game on, go play!! ^.~
How is everyone? I'm alright. Working on some stories...always fun. ^.^
Did anyone else hear that there are protesters going to the funerals of soldiers and protesting? That is so outrageous that I just can't believe it!! How wrong!!
Something bad is going to happen! Who in their right minds would go to a funeral packed with military, ex-military and grieving family members? That in itself is a stupid move.
On top of that, how disrespectful can you get. They're holding signs saying things like "the only good soldier is a dead soldier" "God hates you" "It's too late to pray" and stuff like that!! That is wrong on soooo many levels!
There are a group of ex-military who are trying to stop it. They're bikers and when they hear of a protest going on they ride their bikes to the funeral and place their bikes between the protesters and the mourners. Then, when the chants begin, they reve (or how ever you spell that word) their engines.
These people are protesting the war in Iraq and, while I really disagree with protesters because of their methods, this one just pisses me off. Yes, people have the freedom of speech, but something should be done to protect these families.
Maybe it's just because I'm from a military family, but this is just tactless.
thank you and goodnight
~Nikki
