Have you ever wondered why you happen to see so many deer hanging around the road? Well I know why. They are busy trying to catch their dinner. Yep that’s right! Deer are always hanging around the roads, because they are waiting for you to hit some squirrel so they can come along and swoop it up in their mouths and take it back to their family. Deer’s love road kill. They also love rabbits, but it’s much harder hunting and catching rabbits than it is just hanging around the roads waiting for dinner. And when you happen to see one wondering around in the middle of the road it’s because they call the squirrels out to the middle of the road reassuring them that every thing is okay. And then they tackle the squirrel and super glue their tails to the road and run off the curb and wait for some vehicle to come along. It’s much easier than actually having to kill the animals themselves. Yep, Deer are furious animals. So just keep that in mind next time you see a deer by the road. They aren’t just drawn to the headlights, they are waiting for their next meal.
