And I post once again, bwahahaha

Current Music: The Gathering - If_Then_Else
Current Mood: Unmotivated

I don't really have the motivation to do much lately. I don't know why. I just feel lazy lately. Maybe I should blame the video games that I've been playing practically non-stop :D

Lets see here, what's on the agenda. Ah yes, that. It looks like I'm going on vacation on Monday! First time I'll have gotten out and done something in a while. How liberating. Planned stops are once again Indiana and Wisconsin, visiting friends and such. Also going to go to a concert in indianapolis on the 10th which I hope will be nice, seeing as I've never been to one before (I really don't get out enough.)

In other news, my laptop that I ordered three weeks ago shipped today. Here are the specs just in case anyone is interested (I doubt it, but my motto is to "Never hold back", sooooo, without [further] ado)

  • Inspiron 1420N

  • System Color: Midnight Blue

  • LCD Panel: High Resolution, glossy widescreen 14.1 inch display (1440x900)

  • Hard Drive: Size: 160GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
  • Operation System: Ubuntu version 7.04
  • Integrated NIC and Modem: Integrated 10/100 Network Card and Modem

  • Sound Card: Integrated High Definition Audio
  • Wireless Networking Cards: Intel® 3945 802.11a/g Mini-card
  • Camera: No Camera
  • Primary Battery: 9-cell Primary Battery and 9-cell additional Lithium Ion Battery

  • Limited Warranty, Services and Support Options: 1Yr Ltd Warranty and Mail-In Service
  • Bluetooth Options: Built-in Bluetooth capability (2.0 EDR)
  • Dell Recycling: Free Recycling Kit
  • Processor Branding: Intel Centrino Core Duo Processor

I hope it will be worth the $.

I haven't really accomplished or done anything lately, maybe that's part of the reason I haven't posted in 2 months. I don't know. Anyhow, out of lack of other things to do, how about some comments on comments? Sure, why not.

Fallen_Angel: IMO they don't really offer their employees much either. Oh well, at least the pay is good.
PhoenixClawth: I don't really like that practice either. I only work there for the paycheck, which is now bigger than it was before. I just got my 2.5 yr raise, now I make $18.60/hr (plus incentive :))
Beyblader: I would say it has driven me insane, but as my friend Andrew would tell me I can't lose what I don't have to begin with, eg: sanity. Yes, most of the supervisors/managers are like that too. No joke. I heard from one of the new promotes that they literally try to tell them how to act, who to associate with, etc. I told him what my reaction would have been and he liked my straight-forward hypothetical response of "screw that" He said his was along the same lines.
MiasmaMoon: Umm, I'd vote for lazyness but I just wouldn't have the motivation to go through with that. I wouldn't do fast food anyway, I don't need a $12+/hr paycut. Look at what I said to beyblader and phoenixclawth to see my thoughts on wal-mart though ... P.S. I never get sick of staring into the warm, soft, glow of my computer monitor, ever.
Clair Chanteur: I still remember you vaguely, or at least your myO account anyhow. I remember you haven't been around for quite some time.
