still dead but otherwise no complaints

Today all in all went pretty well I suppose. After I finished the test and was on the way out I was told assignment-wise I'm running around a 100%, and dr. singer said she'd email me the term-paper grade since I asked about it. After that I went down to the fish bowel and messed around on the net, caught up on afotw and otakusingles(forums). After Gary got done with his exam for his DOS class we left. When I got home I was on the internet and listening to music and lazing around. Typical me stuff. My dad unplugged my internet soon after so he could use it and I was already tired, getting bored, and I figured what the hell and took a nap. I woke up at around 9 something and went downstairs. My mom and I sat down there watching movies. First on the agenda was '13 Ghosts'. It was a good movie. I might even watch it again if given the choice. The second was blast from the past, we only caught the second half, funny movie. Somewhere near the movies end it hit. My stomach had been pretty calm all day, the first time in about 4-5 days. Now the gas problems are gone and a new one has arose, diahrea again. Yay -_-;; I did ask about going to see a doctor about my stomach problems which have been all over the wall during the past few months, but we don't have the money for it, doctor's are fucking leeches I say!! In the end I didn't get around to everybodies sites yet again, I might do that just now though I'll actually have to look at the dates for the first time in months. I'll probably also clean up in here and do the laundry. After that I'll work on reorganizing my computer and preparing for the big one I've been working on for a while...... I need a few cds and a new hard drive to pull it off though. I'll be reformatting and then not only reinstalling this operating system but Suse Linux as well. I'll probably need a job before this happens though. That's all for today, good hunting.

Gamer's update

It seems to me that the release of the Playstation 3 is right under our noses. This account will be partly speculation, partly rumor(but very massive and credible ones at that), and partly released facts. It will almost certainly be a major processor upgrade and will fully support progressive scanning mode for wide-screen tvs. I'm positive they'll fix the disc read error problem, and I think I know how they did it as well, you'll see what I mean below. There are numerous designs but I have no idea what they're going to pick just yet. It is said that the PS3 will utilize the new BluRay discs. BluRay is a massive project involving many companies including Sony, Panasonic, Philips, Dell, and Hewlett Packard among others. The discs are going to be easily reproduced and use a new optical system. The optical system uses a b luray(duh), and they have made it incorporate the ability to use the older infrarred ray used in cds and dvds as well without any extra components, easing and cheapening mass production. The discs are said to be cheap and easily manufacturable, price is not yet known and would not be reliable anyway because they aren't in full scale mass production. The discs are currently at 25gb, more than 5 times that of a dvd. Sony is currently working on a double layered version that will hold you guessed it, 50gb. (roughly 11 times as much as a dvd) What does this mean for us gamers? It means you might never see a multi-disc game again, even with the dvds there have been multi-disc games. With this overhaul of the optical system I'm sure they have fixed the disc read error problem as well. The Playstation 3 is going to be shown off at this years E3. Sony will be for the first time the only system being shown off, in the past there has always been direct competition, like when the ps2 and dreamcast were released, or the snes and the genesis, atari and koleko, etc. It will be interesting to see how that plays out. The playstation 3 is set for sale in Japan in December 2005, and here in the states in March 2006. This concludes our gamers update.
