Occupation
State Alchemist. Don't question my sanity!
Real Name
Kailun (my Chinese name, anyway...)
Personal
Achievements
I'm achievement-less.
Anime Fan Since
Since I was four.
Favorite Anime
Digimon, Fullmetal Alchemist, Wolf's Rain, Rurouni Kenshin, Scryed, Naruto, Spiral and just about anything by Miyazaki.
Goals
To become a published author (which explains my hobbies...).
Hobbies
Reading, writing and editing fanfiction. I've read a LOT of fanfiction. I copy it onto my computer so I can enjoy it without taking up my phoneline. Then I fix the mistakes. I makes me so...ANGRY! to see the cruddy writing people put out there!
Talents
Um...do I have any...? Besides converting (or corrupting, take your pick) people into otaku? My "victims" currently number in the double digits.

Escaflowne!
Okay, so I was watching Cartoon Network's Saturday anime line-up, and I got to see Escaflowne for the first time ever! I've been hearing about this anime for year, and every single thing I'd ever heard was nothing but praise. I can see why. I mean, we're talking Miyazaki-quality here. It was absolutely beautiful. Drawing style and plot. I recommend it.

Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X
Hey, does anyone know why in Samurai X: Reflection, Yahiko has the Aku symbol on the back of his Gi top's collar? It's really small, and you only see it once or twice, but I want to know. Cartoon Network stopped playing RuroKen in the middle of it (curses upon One Piece...and DBZ...taking up its timeslot like that...). I was so ticked off! So anyway, I want the back-story. Please comment!!

Insanity. You gotta love it.
No, really. If you're going to be an otaku, you had better get used to insanity. I didn't used to be crazy... It just kinda happened, you know?
Anyway, that's not what I originally wanted to say. I was going to tell you just what new reaches of otaku-ness I've gotten to. I spent nearly $70 at the convention, and some of that money was spent on the Fullmetal Alchemist OSTs, 1 and 2. There is an extremely beautiful song in Russian on the first CD and, shock shock, I set out to learn how to sing it. I'd be the first to admit I'm not the best singer in the world. I'm not. But even I think I sound pretty damn good for singing in a language not my own!
Okay... The real reason I posted this? I was bored stiff. Let's see... What fun things have I done that have to do with anime...? Oh! I drew a truly adorable picture of Edward! Ed is so cool, ne? I've become quite good at drawing him. ::snickers:: I actually found some of my original attempts to draw him... Not a pretty sight... Well, the auto mail was good. I'll give myself that. But other than that the pics sucked so badly...that words just can not describe... ::shudders:: And at the time I thought they were good...! That's the scariest thing. I've improved greatly since March (which is when the pics are dated). Frankly, I'm shocked it took me that long to try and draw him. And it wasn't until last week that I seriously tried drawing Alphonse! I don't know why! It turned out perfect!
That's all.

JAFAX
I just went to my first con! *bows* Yes, yes. Thank you! Arigatou! Anyway, I had a blast. It was pretty far to go for a con, but it was definitely worth the long trip. First day, I dressed as Ed (though, most unfortunately, with out the auto-mail). The second day, as Kiba. Sorry, but I'm not big on taking pictures, so there won't be any here.
