Cowboy Bebop: The Movie is after the series. Here is proof!
(1) Vicious killed the elders of the syndacate. Then he died. We can see the lack of a large syndacate in the movie. Jet said that the ISSP didn't do anything but cover themselves for the syndacate. But in the movie, they were investagating the virus! And BigShot is back on the air because money can go where it belongs. And.. Vincent would have never gotten that far with nano-machines with a syndacate around.
(2) What kind of human can shove his fingers into another man's chest? Unless, of course, there was a previous wound on the chest.. say, a sword slash.
(3)The army! It was never there in the series. Perhaps there was a low number of soldiers (Titan was tragic). Then, after the syndacate collapsed, where would the thousands of "thugs" go? Not the ISSP, too many bad ties. So they join the army. Obviously the government was unable to accomodate all the soldiers, the gas suits were plastic...
(4) The Sowrdfish II runs well with that mono-computer.
(5) Everything just seems more peaceful on the day-to-day streets. Didnt you notice?
