Time To Catch Up! Naruto 334-336 Review

Naruto 334 Review

Of course, like it's Dragonball Z based origins, the villans don't die that easily. Kakuzu isn't dead and defends Hidan from a second Chidori attack by Kakashi. Everyone's like "what the-!" Kakuzu reveals four strange masked creatures that come out of his body. One took the fatal strike. The others have different elemental jutsu that counter any attacks. One shoots out a wind jutsu that knocks Kakashi away. Another mask attacks Chouji and Shikamaru with a lightning attack but Kakashi steps in with a double Rakiri!! The power's so intense his gloves burn off! My jaw dropped!! But there is another power, Fire! What will they do against four elemental jutsus and two opponents who Just Won't Die?!!

(Only because that was the coolest attack I have ever seen!!! Kakashi used both hands! If that isn't mindblowing I don't know what is, well, maybe Naruto's new attack could top it but whoo that was awesome!!! Go Kakashi again!!!!)

Naruto 335 Review

Everyone barely dodged the fire attacks and Kakashi goes after Hidan. Though Kakashi is using his Chidori to the fullest, Hidan and Kakuzu have the advantage with their team attacks. They figure out Kakuzu didn't die because the creatures he controls have their own life force, and that he had five hearts. The creatures that fight for him use different elements. Team ten decides to split their opponents appart, and Shikamaru volunteers to lure away Hidan, alone. Kakashi gives him something and Shikamaru attacks with his Shadow Bind. Hidan dodges his shadow and his chakra knives but didn't think Shiakamru would come at him straight on and punch him in the face. I was like WHOO! GO SHIKAMARU!


Naruto 335 Favorite Quote:

Hidan: "Heh, too bad...as long as you keep your eye on his shadow, this jutsu's worthless."

Shikamaru: "I'm not just being sneaky from a distance...Kagemane no Jutsu, A success!"

(I just loved this part where Shikamaru did something unexpected and caught coky Hidan off guard. Brains wins again! Go Shikamaru!!!)

Naruto 336 Review

This has to be one of the most heartpounding chapters I've read so far! It continues as Shikamaru leads Hidan far away from Kakuzu, while Kakashi and the rest of Team Ten face him. Kakuzu reveals that the first leaf ninja he fought was the first Hokage so everyone's like "man you're old!!" He stole the hearts of shinobi he fought in the past and their chakra too using them in these creatures which is why he can use different elements. Meanwhile, Shikamaru and Hidan face off but right off the bat Shikamaru gets in trouble. He's cut and Hidan takes his blood, the ritual begins! I was like, Oh crap, Shikamaru don't die!!! What in the world is Kishimoto thinking switching the scene right back to Kazuku's critters blasting Kakashi away? Now Kakuzu threatens to take Kakashi's heart! Hidan's pierced himself and Shikamaru falls over. My heart stopped, I started biting my fist I was so scared! Ah!!! Then Kakuzu shudders....secret plan revealed! It wasn't Shikamaru's blood on Hidan's scythe...it was Kakuzu's!! Genius plan by Kakashi and Shikamaru, now with Hidan's back turned Shikamaru is alive and ready to attack!!!

(Actually I have no favorite quote for this chapter because the whole thing was good! Especially the heart-pounding 'omg-shikamaru-almost-died-but-because-of-a-great-plan-he-didn't-and-now-he's-gonna-kick-some-butt-WHOO!' part. I can't wait for the next chapter and I wish it would come out already! These plot twists are getting me so excited! WAH! Now it's time for a OG KISIMOTO-SAN! GANBATTE-O AND HURRY UP WITH THE NEXT ONE!!!)

Bonus Catcher-Upper! Naruto 331 - 333 Reviews!

Naruto 331 Review!

From where we left off, Team Ten sets off to continue mission as a three man team. Tsunade objects saying they need four people to succeed. Shikamaru says that Asuma's spirit is with them, but Tsunade thinks they're being immature about it. Kakashi shows up and volunteers to join them. Meanwhile, Akatsuki prepares to seal the two-tail bijuu. Later, Sakura meets with Tsunade and tells her that Team 7 will back up Team 10 if trouble arrives, because Kakashi can relay information quickly. Still, with Naruto's training incomplete, it may be troubles some. So Tsunade annocunces Naruto has 24 hours left to complete his new jutsu! Oh my, what will happen now?


Naruto 331 Favorite Quote:

"To run away and live a life without seeing things through, I don't want to live a complicated life like that." - Shikamaru

(I'm not sure how to comment on this one, other than Shikamaru believes Asuma would have wanted them to see their mission through. It's the way he is, it's like walking away in the middle of a chess game, you just don't do it if you're a serious player. It's impressive to see how Shikamaru is dealing with this tragic situation, but also sad.)

Naruto 332 Review

I absolutely loved the cover page that showed older and younger Naruto standing next to each other. Seeing how much he's grown was both shocking and wonderful!! I want it as a wallpaper so bad! Anyway, back to the storyline, Shikamaru plans a strategty with Team Ten and Kakashi. The details were left out to be seen later. Akatsuki seals the two tailed bijuu, poor girl, and Hidan and Kakuzu are order to continue their search for the kyuubi. While they wander the woods, Shikamaru's team attacks Hidan and Kakuzu unawares. Shikamaru uses Asuma's chakra knives to capture them in his Shadow Bind. Like a knight in shogi shikamaru jumps into action and takes the lead!


Naruto 332 Favorite Quote:

Deidara: "Kakuzu, Hidan, if your going to Konoha, a word of advice...hmmm. There's a Jinchuuriki there called Uzumaki Naruto. If you meet him, be careful...hmm."

Hidan: "Hey, hey, hey!! Don't put me in the same category as you, Deidara-CHAN! A weakling that had to have Kakuzu reconnect your arm!"

Kakuzu: "Better than a head..."

Hidan: "Hey! Darn you Kakuzu! Whose side are you on!!!"

(Even though I hate Hidan for what he did to Asuma, I still can't get over his idiocy. Unlike Orochimaru, who I really hate even though sometimes he can be alluring, Hidan makes me laugh and I have a weakness for bad guys with humor. Good one Kakuzu. ^^)

Naruto Chapter 333 Review!

This has to be my favorite chapter of this entire arc so far. The action and dialogue is mind-boggling! Shikamaru's Shadow Bind works and he starts using Hidan's body to attack Kakuzu but Kakuzu thought ahead and detatched his arm, so he wasn't affected by the Shadow Bind. Hidan was like WOO! While Shikamaru was like "Oh snap!" Meanwhile Naruto's training is almost complete. I nearly died seeing this huge crater he was standing in. Yamato read my mind "oh my god!" He tells Naruto that chakra natures also have weaknesses, which Kakuzu finds out the hard way as Kakashi storms in from behind with his deadly Rakiri! Lightning beats Earth. Another OMG! Can't breathe from excessive shock! WOW!!!! That was a plot twister! Go Kakashi!!!!


Naruto 333 Favorite Quote:

Naruto: "So I've got the right afinity for Sasuke..."

Yamato: "Right, only wind can beat lightning!"

Naruto: "No I mean..The only thing that can save a fire from dying and give it even more power is wind..."


(Powerful...Explaining the scene, Yamato had just told Naruto that a wind jutsu is weak against fire, because duh, it makes fire stronger. However, since Sasuke also uses Lightning, Naruto can beat Chidori. Despite any doubt, Naruto blows the readers away with his words. He may be an idiot sometimes and say really stupid things, but when it comes down to the people he cares about the most, especially Sasuke who he views as a brother, his words are far beyond his years. He's worked so hard just to save one person, and his determination is clear. That he still cares about Sasuke after losing him twice and nearly dying by his hand twice, shows you the bond he holds so dear is stronger than anything. This connection and loyalty is probably what hooked me onto the Naruto story, the fight to save a friendship, it's indescribable and unforgettable! We're all behind you, Naruto.)

Woo, I'm finally done! Sorry about the delays. I still don't have Internet and can't read the chapters fast enough let alone write reviews for them. So, anyway, until next week...or so...^^
