Original Manga and, yes, more Naruto
Yo. New sketches posted, and since the 'artist comment' bars are so tiny I'll explain the possible idea I had for these new characters. No, I'm not totally abandoning Okaeshi. This idea just popped into my head so I doodled.
Story is called "Hidden Asia" and is based on a journey to find Shangri-La. Kintaro is a young warrior, who was raised by an old monk. Before his mentor died he was instructed to find his origin: Hidden Asia. Problem is, everyone thinks it's a myth and no one knows where to find it. Four years pass and he finally gets a lead, word of a priest guarding the way to Hidden Asia. This info comes from a young man living in the mountains, Nazo Yamahito, but his info isn't for free. The two of them set off on a journey but must be wary of the wicked Lord Ryuma and his armies set on conquering all the Far East. When Ryuma discovers someone's found the way to "Shangri-La" there is trouble ahead for Kintaro.

It's still in the works, and the plot needs tons of tweaking, but I like drawing the characters. ^^ As for Okaeshi, well Roleplay keeps dishing out the random plot and I have yet to draw everything. "It's a mountain!*

And, yes, time for another Naruto rant. Chapter 303 is finally up and, again, Sasuke is absent. It mainly focused on Sai and his character (nobody cares though. he's a strange one) and strangely enough Naruto hardly said a word until the end which was my favorite part!!

Naruto - 303 Favorite Quote:

Naruto: "In the past, I really hated Sasuke, but...I really enjoyed being together with him. He...more than anyone else, he was the one person I wanted to acknoledge me. Because...Sasuke is my friend...and because we had come to share and important bond."

Sai: "That's why I said...facing Orochimaru..."

Naruto: "Even if my arms were ripped off, I'd kick him to death. If my feet were ripped off, I'd bite him to death. If my neck were ripped out, I'd stare him to death. If my eyes were ripped out, I'd curse him to death. So I don't care if I'm ripped to shreds...I'm still going to take Sasuke back from Orochimaru!!!"

*powerful words. If sasuke even thinks about saying no to that kind of speech I'll beat him up myself. ^^ go Naruto!! Can't wait for the next one!*
