Naruto 310! T_T
OMG the sadness! I just finished reading chapter 310 (whoa, man kishimoto-san, that's a lot of chapters) of Naruto and it was so sad. I feel soooo sorry for Naruto, he broke down crying and I felt like crying too. Everyone was a help in comforting him which was nice. So back home they went but still determined to succeed. Sai's had a huge turnaround, he's all happy now and has lots of friends. The last page was so wonderful it made me cry. I love how this story is going, well besides Sasuke's butt-headedness. Somebody knock some sense into this guy. That's the biggest reason why I felt so sad, Naruto was upset that even after all this time and training he could do nothing to bring Sasuke back. It was sooooo sad! Well, there's still a lot to look forward too like what the heck is Akatsuki doing? How's Gaara's recovery? Where did Sasuke and Orochimaru go? What is their next move? Is Kakashi better yet? What of Naruto's dream of becoming Hokage? And like a billion more. Oiy, this is going to take a while.

*This scene was so touching. Here is Sakura, Naruto's ninja partner since graduating ninja school, who used to beat him up constantly and swoon over Sasuke. Now, she stands as a mature woman, comforting the only teammate she has left. Though I'm not a huge fan of SakuNaru, I still find it so sweet to see how much she does care about him, even if it's not romantic. Since Naruto returned from training, their bond has become stronger. Sakura feels bad that she asked Naruto to make that life-long promise to get Sasuke back for her and that he failed. She wants to to everything she can to get Sasuke back but doesn't want to lose Naruto in the process. I really like how she cares about him so much so as to become stronger herself to save not only Sasuke but Naruto if he needs it. I saw that when he became the 4-tail kyuubi and she risked her own life to stop him, and how she was upset to find out he had the kyuubi in him and could die if it was removed. Seeing her care so much more about Naruto than when she was young and only thought about Sasuke, makes me respect and admire her character a lot more.*
