Alice forever
I finally got my parents to order me American McGee's Alice! They were kinda nervous about buying it at first 'cause it's rated mature, but then my Daddy read it up on wikipedia and said that nothing seemed to be bad, except for the blood and gore. I told him that most of it doesn't bother me. Then he said that if it's really that bad and it bothers you, we can give it to someone else. Then me Mom ordered it on ebay. Now I am just waiting for it to come in the mail.
But the first time I saw the game was when I was really young... about 7, I believe. When I first laid eyes on the game, the cheshire cat kinda spooked me. But the incredible DETAIL on that box is what caught my eye the most. Even as a child, artwork never ceased to amaze me. But when my Mom saw me looking at it and me saying, "Look, Mommy, it's alice in wonderland!", She shook her head no and said that it was an alice in wonderland game not meant for someone my age. And she was right. The game is rate mature for animated blood, animated gore and animated violence. But now, whenever I see blood and guts in manga or anime or movies or cartoons, it doesn't really bother me as much. I do get scared, or freaked out, or even grossed out, but not as much as I would as a 7 year old child. But when I first saw the game, Alice wasn't holding the vorpal blade or the deck of cards, she was holding the ice wand. ((But I didn't know that as a child, of course.)) But when I was a child, I didn't see the title, all I remember seeing was "Alice" and that was it. But growing up into a teenage girl, I thought about that game over and over sometimes. One time I stopped thinking about it completely.
But then I stumbled upon a site full of Evanescence stuff and other stuff. It turned out the be a blog with lots of Quizilla results on it. XD But when I saw the background, I suddenly remembered. I thought to myself, "Man, that looks awfully familiar..." Then I strtaed looking up "evil alice" and "dark alice" on Google. Then I stumbled upon a site that said, "American McGee's Alice features stunning graphics, beautiful artwork, and a third-person shooter Wonderland full of familiar friends who just may become your foe..." And when I saw the artwork and the game box, I immediently widened my eyes and said, "No way! It's the game! I found it! One of my childhood memories are coming back to me!"
I then started reading up about it and I was kinda shocked to find out it was rated M for Mature. But then I found out it was just for the blood and violence, I was relieved. Because if it had sexuality in it, it would have been out of the question. Then I started watching levels in which other members on YouTube played on youtube.com. I also watched previews of it there, too. I started getting into it.
Well, now that my paernts ordered it for me, I'm getting too anxious about it and wondering about what it's like. *anime sweatdrop* But while I'm waiting for that, I'm going to go see the Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End tonight!! It's 7:27 PM right now and I'm going to go see it at 10:15 PM tonight. I love going out at night, especially at misnight, It's just so spooky and mysterious that I love it!!!! <3 XDXD But watch out for hobos!!! << >>
THEY'LL FORCE YOU TO PLAY THE ACCORDION!!!!! XDXDXD J/K >>
Anyway, this is it for me. Over and out.
