CSI looses three people.
Now i know that CSI (Vegas)has nothing to do with anime, but i gotta write this down somewhere.....Like the title says, CSI is losing three of it's main characters, and you'll never guess which three. Most people who are fans of the show, or who watch it casually know that Sarah Sidle (Jorja Fox) has been scheduled to leave for awhile now. And she is one of the people that will leave the show, but the other two just came out of the blue-at least for me. Apparently, on the last episode, Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan), was shot in his car. His character is one of the ones leaving, although it's unknown whether his leaving will be because of his character's death, or for another reason. Now, if the show's future isn't up in the air enough, one more VERY IMPORTANT CHARACTER is supposed to leave as well. And it's the last person you'd expect to leave. William Peterson, a.k.a. GIL GRISSOM is gonna leave as well. Freakin' GIL!!!!! So basically, not only is the show going to lose one of the few female characters, and Warrick, Grissom will be gone as well. And that's just not going to work..... Again, i speak only for myself, but one of the major reasons i watch CSI (Vegas) is because of Gil. Personally, i like the other CSIs as well (New York and Miami). They both have great show plots, and the science is ok. However, the characters on CSI (Vegas), seem to be more real, and more appealing. (Not in a creepy way). Their science also seems to be interesting. They have more experiments, and, well i learn more things.......Yes. I am a nerd. shut up. Anyway, i'm pretty sure that CSI (Vegas) will be going down-hill from here. With only Catherine, Greg, and Nick left from the original leads, and Doc Robbins, Hodges, David, and some of the other CSI techies (Archie, Bobby, and a few others we all know on sight) to carry on the show. Now, all of these characters and their respective actors are very talented, but it's just not CSI without Gil, Warrick, and Sarah. That would be like Bleach without Ichigo, Rukia, and Chad. and i did not mean anything about Chad and Warrick's color similarities. That was completely un-intended. Sorry. Anyway, now that i've yapped annoyingly for yet another very long post, about something not even anime related, i'll be going. Sorry. Again. (wait-a-minute...Who am I apologizing 2!?! No one ever reads this!?)

Voice Actors
Felt like posting agian. Anyway, i just (and i mean just, like 30 seconds ago) got finished reading a discussion about voice actors, dubs and subs, and other related stuff. It got me thinking, which is always a bad thing, because then it leads me to type on myO. Annnnyyyywwaaay, some of them were saying how the dub versions aren't as good as the subbed versions and dissing on the voice actors. Personally, i LIKE the dubbed versions better. I'm not japanese, and understand only about twenty words (most of them insults), so don't take this as gospel, but the japanese version just doesn't seem to convey emotions as much. I mean, the big emotions, anger, sorrow, (shudders) love, and during the big emotional scenes, or when a character is yelling incoherently, or confused, they do great at. No better or worse than the english versions. But, while i can hear small changes in the characters (E) voices, i can't in the original versions. They speak more naturally, like you'd say, with changes in speed, volume, pitch that would naturally occurr. Maybe it's just because i'm a pure-bred american with no japanese, or even foreign language experience. Maybe japanese people think that our versions are unable to convey emotion correctly, or sound to stiff. i really don't know. but again, personally, i prefer dubs to subs. I'll watch a sub, but sometimes they sound to stiff and formal. Take the phrase "I won't go with you". If it was subbed, it might read as " I will not leave with you.". While i'd say " I won't go with you!". (Sorry, bad example) But i think you get the point. While we'd use some slang naturally, and run our words together (like won't, don't, can't, etc) they wouldn't. Now, this isn't ture of all subs, and the same for all dubs. Some subs are actually pretty good, and some dubs stink to high heaven and deserve immediate destruction. Aaaaaaaaaaaannnnnd, that's my opinion on the subject. i'm gonna go now.

For some reason, i just really wanted 2 post. I really don't no why. o well. Anyway, on gaia, i just found a thread that was basically, an argument between the thread owner and some other chick. It was supposed 2 be bout inu, and it was. the other girl just for no apparent reason started dumping on inuyasha, called it inuWasha (wtf?!). well, after i read through the argument, i went 2 another thread and (it was bout inu 2) and guess what. the chick was there as well. she started dumpin on inu AGAIN. i really don't know what her problem was. or is. inu is awesome, even if it's over. that chick doesn't have 2 ruin it for other people and be just plain rude about inuyasha. ....weeeelllll, that's about it. couldn't think of anything else 2 write. sorry.

New anime coming 2 adult swim
You heard it. there is a new anime coming to adult swim sometime in the fall of this year. it's a fantasy anime and from all reports, pretty good. that's all. except for the fact that i've been on the official funimation site and seen a lot of really good anime and am slightly depressed because i do not have the money to buy it......*sigh*. Funimation has a lot of good anime such as "Ghost Hunt", "Black Blood Brothers","Solty Rei", "D-Gray Man", "Black Cat", and some old favs such as "Case Closed" and, of course, the all popular, "FullMetal Alchemist". soooooooo depressed bout being poor.

Inu+Kag or Inu+Kik
Ok. I know that no one ever gets on here. I'm only doing this because i really feel that i gotta at least say this outloud (er, sort of) once so that i'm not freakin screamin it in my head all the time. I just read some comments posted on another site, and the people were arguing about who Inu should end up with, Kikyo or Kagome.
Personally, i think that Inu should end up with kagome, and i always have. a lot of people say that Inu should go with Kagome because Kikyo's dead, or because she's just not very nice, or just because they like kagome better. The thing is, when Naraku tricked them, neither of them should have believed the other one betrayed them. Especially not so quickly. Even though Kagome has actually tried to kill Inu like, 4 or 5 times (she was possessed, but Inu didn't know that at first), Inu never even thought that she was betraying him. He never left her, or tired to attack her (I mean when she was trying to kill him. his demonic possesions do not count). The same for when Inu was possessed. Kagome tried to save him, never hurt him. Kikyo and Inu, however, automatically believed that the other one was aiming to kill and hated that other person. that itself should show that Kikyo and Inu didn't have the level of trust or affection to actually build a life together. And unfortunatly, before they could develop that trust, Naraku intervened.
And then we move to Kikyo and Inu after her death and ressurrection. After Kikyo died and Inu was released from the sealing spell on the Goshinboku, they both went through seperate......challenges? maybe?. anyway, the different things they went through, the people they met and interacted with, and the changes that came about because of their new lives, seperated them even further. So by the time that Kikyo got over her misplaced hatred, they had both changed inside and become different people than when they were in love. Now, if they had time, and really tried then they could've gotten back together and become a couple again. But, because of Kagome, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and even Koga and other friends that Inu made, they couldn't. Inu could not abandon the first friends he'd ever made, the people he'd come to care for. Not even for Kikyo. I'm not sure his heart could survive leaving his friends-if he did, there's a good chance he'd become like he used to be. Angry, scared, and alone, trying to learn how to trust Kikyo, who would also be overcoming her own personal problems. It wouldn't work. In short, Inu loved the women Kikyo used to be, and cared for Kikyo now because of their past. The same goes for Kikyo. But the person Inu is now loves Kagome, who accepted him and healed the pain he carried from his past with that trust and acceptance.
Inu should ( and does, so there) end up with Kagome. Kikyo realizes this, sometime later, (i'm pretty sure she does. she seems to cool off towards kagome after she accpets this at any rate)accepts this and lets go of Inu. this allows her ghost to move on and get past that moment in time where she was "betrayed" and died. after moveing on, she is finally able to rest peacfully and her ghost dissapates and allows Inu to move on with his life finally.
Ok. now that i've babbled incoherently for awhile, about things that really don't matter anymore, (since the series ended. waaaah!)i'm gonna just shut up and post this. i just felt like saying it, and giving my opinion.

InuYasha fans- rejoice! there is hope!!!
Sorry-my title's a little wierd. But it's not totally off the mark. I know i've already told you about "The InuYasha Companion" and how it has manga summaries you can read. However, i just found a new site called "Isoshu" i believe, that has the entire InuYasha manga series online where you can read it for free....! and that's not all! The site also has some other well-known and not-so-well-known manga online as well. I just read the last chapter of InuYasha (with pictures- pictures make it better)for the fourth time.... No this is not because i'm obsessed, it is because i just can't believe it's finally over. I'm waiting for the reality to finally set in..... T.T Anyway, check out http://tel.isoshu.com for the manga and the end of InuYasha.............. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. plus, for all of you Sesshomaru fans, there's a death-glare to end all death-glares in their for you guys as well.

InuYasha has officially ended
You heard it people. Inuyasha is officially over. Rumiko Takahashi-sensei has ended the series in Japan with 56 novels and 12 years under her belt. The only really good thing that could come of this is that the anime might be started up again-although hopefully with the same voice actors. If you're like me and couldn't wait, check out "The Inuyasha Companion" (google it or yahoo it or something, i don't have the url). It has a manga summaries page where all of the books are summarized and categorized under novels and chapters. Unfortunatly, it doesn't have any pictures or the manga itself, so it's more like reading a book than a manga. It also has a link to "Rumic World", one of the official (english speaking, i think) Rumiko Takahashi websites, which has a "restart Inuyasha anime" petition on it. I signed. (no dip)Beware though, even if you don't get on the manga summaries page, the site is loaded with spoilers. (you know what, now that i've typed this whole thing, it begs the question-who the heck reads this anyway? i don't really think anyone does. whatever) Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go find something else to obsess on, since InuYasha (manga) has ended *sniff*.

Terry Pratchet & Code Geass
I haven't posted in awhile, and i felt like it. As the title suggests, the only things of any real post-worthiness that's happened in awhile. Code Geass is a brand new anime that just premiered on Adult Swim. It's got a pretty well known cast, with Johnny Young Bosch (Ichigo) as the main character, some crazed ex-prince named Lelouch who is trying to relinquish Great Britain's hold on Japan (at least. in this world, Britain rules most of the world and the American Revolution never became an issue.) Another well-known voice-actor, Yuri Lowenthall (Sasuke) plays his best friend who (mistakenly) becomes Lelouch's enemy when he becomes the leader of the rebels. They don't know that they're fighting each other.
The second part of my post isn't really anime related. Terry Pratchet is a well known comedy/fantasy author. You may have heard of some of his books, like "The Wee Free Men, A Hat Full of Sky, Wintersmith, and the Wyrd Sisters". They're pretty good; not really serious or dramatic or anything, but good for a nice laugh and the story lines are pretty good. Anyway, i recently heard that he is developing Alzheimer's, which is really sad. I'm not entirely sure, since i only heard it from one place, but still, Terry Pratchet is a really good author, and the fantasy world will miss him greatly.

...I dunno
You know how i talked a bit about this namco/bandai help site for games a few posts ago? Well, it is very helpful but only in the more get you through the game stuff. Like, if you have to find a key, or get through a maze, they'll tell you how or where. but if you're trying to figure out why your game isn't doing what it's supposed to, they all of a sudden say they have no more information on this game and stop talking to you. i know, my inu-game is at the last level, and the two charcters i'm supposed to fight aren't showing up, even though i am at the right place and have every thing i need. stupid site, stupid game.
