Terry Pratchet & Code Geass
I haven't posted in awhile, and i felt like it. As the title suggests, the only things of any real post-worthiness that's happened in awhile. Code Geass is a brand new anime that just premiered on Adult Swim. It's got a pretty well known cast, with Johnny Young Bosch (Ichigo) as the main character, some crazed ex-prince named Lelouch who is trying to relinquish Great Britain's hold on Japan (at least. in this world, Britain rules most of the world and the American Revolution never became an issue.) Another well-known voice-actor, Yuri Lowenthall (Sasuke) plays his best friend who (mistakenly) becomes Lelouch's enemy when he becomes the leader of the rebels. They don't know that they're fighting each other.
The second part of my post isn't really anime related. Terry Pratchet is a well known comedy/fantasy author. You may have heard of some of his books, like "The Wee Free Men, A Hat Full of Sky, Wintersmith, and the Wyrd Sisters". They're pretty good; not really serious or dramatic or anything, but good for a nice laugh and the story lines are pretty good. Anyway, i recently heard that he is developing Alzheimer's, which is really sad. I'm not entirely sure, since i only heard it from one place, but still, Terry Pratchet is a really good author, and the fantasy world will miss him greatly.
