Shin Megami Tensei. It's better than you.

Jaded
Maybe the internet should just shut down on April Fool's day. It seems that nearly every news site on the internet thinks that it is still funny and original to pull these "prank stories" out of their asses.
Kotaku's on some zombie rampage, ThinkGeek went through its cycle of fake products again, 1up has Lord knows what, and random stories are popping up on message boards from smaller sites, which is followed by the inevitable seven pages of people asking "iz it reel??" even if it was proven fake on the first page.
What makes it worse is the fallout of these pranks- most of us remember the "Realistic Ocarina of Time" remake story from EGM, and how there are still probably people out there who think that it's fact. You're journalists- albeit internet journalists- show some integrity.
(I didn't see TheOtaku's banners, but I'm assuming it was something MSpaintey, to which I say "meh.")

Not dead, just vegetative.
Comment Commentary
Azure- WELL CHECK NOW, PUNK.
Shin- This is pretty true, in retrospect.
John- What's killing me is that right after I made this a "Make stop-motion GIFs!" thread showed up on Something Awful, and I don't have the money for an account to post it.
Shin- :o

I seem to have caught the eBay bug.
I've been hunting Marvel vs. Capcom 2 down for a while now, and tonight was the ending period for a pretty inexpensive copy of the Dreamcast version, so I decided to go for it.
It was not the first time I've bought something on eBay- I've done the "Buy it!" option several times- but this was my first actual auction on it. So I did the whole compulsive refreshing bit, but due to other duties, I had to leave the computer, so I just set it to $40 maximum bid, and if it would get any higher I would forget it.
I didn't think I would get it, but I did, so hooray. Now I need a universal arcade stick that includes Dreamcast and doesn't cost $150.
Or I could buy a really cheap one for Dreamcast, and get the universal Soul Calibur one for the other two.

Track's going pretty well. I am by no means a varsity runner, but I'm enjoying it.
It saps every ounce of energy from my body, but it's satisfying.
We got cookies today. :o
Also, one of the varsity team captains got caught doing cocaine on campus. Apparently this is not the first time, and apparently he's been in jail before for "bad decisions," as my oh-so-Mormon but oh-so-awesome coach put it, and this time he's completely expelled and everything.
It's sort of odd when something like that happens to someone you have seen every day for the past few months, but never really talked to.

I have another thing on Google Video up now, only this time it's a very short, barely edited clip of me rudely waking my brother up. Check it out.
