It smells like Arsenic Silver in here.

This post title goes out to all you science geeks out there. ~_^

Comment Commentary

Mimmi- Oh, it was just some Greek mosaic. The "thing" was almost small to the point that you could barely make it out.

Actually, I remember when I was in his grade, I actually went over a Zeus statue's special area in MS Paint, but it was more for humor than keeping Jesus from crying.

Tony- Ah, I thought so. At one point in time, that would have been a Family Guy reference, but by now that phrase has become part of my everyday vocabulary, heh.

Shin- I'm glad somebody's with me. When I do it, you'd think my parents just saw me sacrificing the blood of virgins to Bahamut.

Lewna- Eh, I have my ups and downs. It's more cynicism than anything, though.

Godel- Wonderful!

--

Wewt, my Etro Anime CD finally came in. They're that jazzy electronic group out of New York that did the song in the Digital Devil Saga trailer.

The case itself is very nice. Instead of the typical plastic affair it's a more paper-ish material, which I've found is more common with techno cases, for whatever reason. The art is nice and simple, but oddly evoking. The label design itself is so enigmatic that, at one point, I found myself just staring blankly at it.

The music itself, however.. Well, let me give you a bit of backstory. Generally, whenever I listen to new music that I purchased, I feel rather unimpressed with it for one reason or another. Perhaps I just feel like I didn't get my money's worth, or something stingy like that, but as always, I grow to accept it. Etro Anime is no different.. I'm really enjoying most of the songs at this point.

So yeah, it's a good buy, and if you're interested in electronica (Here's looking at you, James ~_^), I'd even recommend it.

Perhaps a new theme is on the way, inspired by one of the songs? *strokes chin thoughtfully*

The IB saga continued today as I took the entrance exam dealie. It was at the high school itself, rather late in the day by my standards, but wonderfully enough the students actually get released at that time. My junior high, as I'm sure some of you know, has planted seeds in my mind that tell me that all people are evil and it is bad to be around people you don't know because they're all jerks. I set up a strategic little avoidance setup, but fortunately one of my good friends suddenly popped up, and for one reason or another I then had reason to throw the plan out the window and just walk in.

The test itself was held in the library, which I've never been inside before. The school is fairly new (If I heard right, it's about seven years old), and the library is pretty nice. There's a big high ceiling, with a decent number of books. It seems that, no matter what level of education you're at, you still have to cope with all of these stupid "Reading is good for you! :D" posters, though. I got over those in second grade.

They have the same English teacher do all of the pre-IB initiation stuff, it seems. He's one of those enthusiastic, youngish-acting teachers who tries to level with the kids but tends to fail. We had a tiny lecture from him, and got on with the testing.

The first part was just analyzing a poem by Robert Frost, and relating it to real life. It was hardly a challenge- the poem was practically blatant and non-metaphorical. I just sort of rambled for a bit, savoring the one writing assignment where I'm not held down by the shackles of.. THAT essay format, if just for a couple of hours.

Then there was a 40-something question reading comprehension thing. Simple. I found it interesting how IB is designed for well-rounded advanced students, yet the entrance exam is based entirely off of English skills. Not that that is a problem for me.

--

I'm dying to play Unreal Tournament 2004 now. I've come to the conclusion that Counter-Strike is just my own sort of compensation, as my mind is lacking any decent online gaming-ness. And now, between UT2004 and GuildWars, hopefully that will all change.

I just had to throw something gamey in there. It just wouldn't be one of my updates without it.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I saw the Splinter Cell novel in Waldenbooks today. I find it funny how it says "TOM CLANCY'S Splinter Cell" in huge bold letters at the top, and at the bottom:

"...By the guy that actually wrote it." Though I paraphrase.

Now that's genius marketing in action.

It's arrived, it's here, it's gone.

I am unbelievably tired. I have no desire, let alone reason, to update right now. I'm just checking in and proving I'm not dead. Yet.

Comment Commentary

Alex- I made sure to tell him that.

Shin- It's worth it just to do it for him, right?

Alex- I prefer the more silent method.. But I still go very, very fast. ~_^

Mimmi- Which image?

James- That's the sort of coolness that online play just doesn't bring as well.

Godel- It baffles my mind how slow he goes sometimes. It's maddening.

Heh, Madden.

I get my advice from the advertising world.

Comment Commentary

Shin- They really are a good band. I can't think of a song on "Shake the Sheets," their most recent album, that I don't like. I haven't heard 100% of any one of their other albums, though. Yet.

Tony- Box social?

Mimmi- I know enough about it, heh. It does sound pretty cool.

Godel- But that's what makes IKEA so great. :/

--

It's a good feeling when you're around a person and you don't have to be really doing anything to be entertained. For example, I was sitting around playing KOTOR today, and my friend came over with his Xbox and KOTOR II. We played them at the same time, laughing at various things (The spikey-headed dude's total uselessness when you get him, for example) and discussing Star Wars and whatever was brought up in conversation. It's more fun than I've had than actually doing something with this said person in quite some time. In fact, it was quite possibly the most carefree time I've spent with somebody outside of my immediate family in probably a year.

Question to the readers: When do you feel most carefree?

..Why did I do that? I really don't know, I'm just hoping for more fuel for the comment commentary. <_<

I think one of the most frustrating things I have to deal with is other people's complete lack of knowledge when it comes to technology. My brother was working on a project today, and as usual, I had to handle all of the "computer stuff."

He's very, very, slow at typing. Painfully slow. When I watch him type, I wince. Even if I'm not asked to, I do the typing for him, just so I can get back on the computer. It's still a frustration, though.

Then I need to find a "good picture" for the cover page. I found a very nice one, but he didn't want to use it because of "the thing showing! :O".

So I got into Photoshop and went over it with the Clone Stamp tool. Somehow, he still had a prejudice against it. In the end, I printed it out anyway and told him to deal with it.

Then comes the bibliography. This time, my mom was gracious enough to make him actually write down the information he needed. I just needed to supply the bibliography generator site.

It baffles the mind how their collective brain power couldn't understand the workings of Easybib.com. It's EASYBIB. I had to show them how.

And then I had to show my mom how to CUT AND PASTE.

I've just learned to laugh at it behind their backs, and sometimes to ignore them.

--

I had an odd spyware / virus scare today. It wasn't anything drastic, I suppose- I didn't lose any files, and the computer wasn't running slowly, but there was still something amiss. SBC Yahoo provides their users with a browser. It's basically a re-skinning of Internet Explorer with a streaming radio feature on the side, as far as I'm concerned, but apparently Yahoo mail requires Java to run properly. Normally that isn't a problem, but tonight the browser apparently wasn't reading Java. I didn't change any features, so I got all freaked out. I called my dad and lectured him about how he was supposed to call the Norton Antivirus people weeks ago, and his coworker told him that he would burn him a copy of his Norton stuff. Which I don't think is true. Even if it is, registry keys will probably keep it from working.

Fortunatey, all is well now. I really don't know what happened, but let's hope it doesn't happen again.

Closing Statement: It's a sad day when somebody on Counter-Strike boots you from a server when your ping is at moderate DSL level. That happened to me three times today.

iTunes: It's easy once you know how it's done. Even though I still don't know how to burn CDs in it.

Comment Commentary

Tony- I had a feeling you would.

Mimmi- You can use it, if you like it so much. It can be the first voluntary unintentional banner request in the history of the internet.

Shin- Meetings? Hah, we don't have any meetings here.

HAH, I say!

Solo- I loved Tiny Toons when I was little.. God, that show kicked ass. At the time.

Godel- Bus drivers scare me. :x

--

Where would I be without my Japanese dramas? I'll tell you where: A land of pure unenjoyment. They have all of the poor acting and lame plot arcs of Spanish soap operas, only they're just decent enough to be tolerable.

I guess I first came across actual Japanese television (as in spoken in authentic Japanese) a year or two back, when I would watch the Japanese Sesame Streetish shows because they were just so stupid. Soon after that, I noticed that our "international channel," which is mostly car dealership commercials en espanola during the daytime, also ran Japanese drama shows on Sunday evenings. For a while I watched them religiously- as corny as they were, I became enthralled in one particular show which I considered to be Sex and the City minus the sex, plus a lot of mid-life crisis angst- but that faded rather quickly. I still manage to tune in once in a while, but all of my old favorites are gone now. 'Tis a shame.

(For the record, they had some lame hospital show on tonight. There weren't any subtitles, either, which was odd.)

--

As lame as I've always found Counter-Strike to be (I'm too impatient to wait for a new round to begin, especially when it takes two shots to kill someone), I've been having this insatiable urge to play it for the past couple of days. The coolness level fluctuates.. It really depends on the people in the server, and which weapons I can get my grubby little (hopefully) terrorist hands on.

So yeah, my frustrations with the game are as follows:

4) Weapon damage. Realism, whee! It takes one shot to the leg to kill someone! Hoorah! It doesn't help your self-esteem when someone does it with a teeny little handgun, either. YAY!

3) The fact that the Counter-Terrorist team doesn't have any dual weapons. I wouldn't care so much if I had never played Halo 2.

2) The "wait-until-the-next-round" thing. God, I hate that. I hate it so much. The way the game is set up, it only makes sense, but it sucks when those around you don't know shit about throwing frags. Even though they are, I admit, the most frustrating objects to use in the entire first-person shooter universe.

1) All these lamers who have been playing the game for six damn years and STILL camp.

And yet I go back to it. I'm like a desperate woman who keeps going back to the same deadbeat boyfriend.

--

If there's one reason I love listening to unknown bands, it's because they're so desperate for publicity they put complete, high quality MP3s of their songs on their websites. It's so cool. I just downloaded thirteen dollars' worth of songs (by iTunes standards. Otherwise, it'd probably be twenty) off of Ted Leo and the Pharmacists' website.

While we're on the subject of Ted Leo, I command you go download those songs. ANY of them. Except for maybe "Walking Through," unless you're into hippity-hop, or rap, or whatever you damn kids are calling it these days.

--

I began brainstorming for that screenplay I've been hinting at for a while now. It's been long in the making, though I decided to dump the IKEA idea, because I have forgotten what made it so funny, and that's not a good sign.

Sure, it's brainstorming, and that's not very far, but I finally have something down on paper, and that's a good thing. A very good thing.

The odd thing is that most of this concept doesn't involve dialogue. At least, the first segment doesn't. At the moment, that's the only one that I have a clear vision of in my head. The rest of them are sort of sketchy ideas randomly thrown out to fill in the rest of the 90 minutes.

It's an abrupt ending, sure, but it grips you. Now, go away.

Revelations you've had twiceover.

Comment Commentary

Tony- I really don't get the comparisons between The Pillows and the Pixies. Maybe it's more of a cultural influence, or something. They have a song called "Kim Deal," too.

Alex- I didn't realize it at the time, but I once had a magnetic item sitting next to my old computer monitor for about a week. At first the bottom left corner was a little purple, but it slowly progressed, and it took me a while to actually realize it happening. As expected, I freaked out when I did.

Shin- Probably. On a side note: I didn't know you were supposed to put a comma after "Come On." Or are you putting on a ruse?

Godel- I get along with a decent number of the mall people, but there were a ton of people I didn't recognize yesterday. Sort of sucked.

--

I suppose I may as well comment on this Loonatics fiasco. It makes me want to throw up. The end. Moving on.

(Now that's dedication to your work.)

--

There's really not much else to say today, so I guess I'll talk about one of those real-life things that I always forget when it's posting time.

A few of you might be familiar with CSF / CJSF, the California Scholarship Federation, or whatever. Our school does a CJSF field trip every year, and this year they've bought Knott's Berry Farm for the entire night. So we get to run around in a poorly lit theme park until three AM, when we get on a bus to go home. Most of my friends went last year, and I didn't get to go. This year, however, that has changed, and I plan on having a good time.

Though Knott's is a far cry from the greatest theme park to be in. They're sort of the bottom tier of California theme parks, defeated only by such places as Sea World and Santa's Workshop (for the record, the one I'm referring to is in California, and it looks a lot crappier than this one).

It's sort of lame how I'm in California and how I so rarely go to any sort of place of interest. Maybe once or twice my family will go somewhere that I'm fine with being at (Santa Barbara, downtown, etc) in a year. Another reason I can't wait to drive.

The last time I was in San Francisco, I was five, but I still remember it vividly as one of the coolest places I've ever been. I had a chance to go up there last year, but it wouldn't have been very recreational.

--

There's not much to scan this week. I have a feeling this is going to be like a new year's resolution: I'll only keep up with it when it's convenient.

This is what I get for messing around with the Liquify and Emboss features in Photoshop. The font is nowhere near what I wanted it to be like, but it came out nicely.

I have absolutely no idea what this is about. How profound I am.

I feel incredibly uninspired to do anything with myOtaku or art right now. Hopefully I'll get out of this rut soon. Until then, I'm out.

Closing statement: With Shin leaving myOtaku, maybe he'll start a trend, and then some other people will leave, and then I'll finally make it into the top fifty myOtaku members. That's a sleazy way to do it, but at this point I'm a heartless bastard, and I don't care.

We've been on this topic before. A thousand times.

Comment Commentary

Alex- I've already done that, like, a thousand times. I will say that I preferred the book, though. The movie was too artsy, even for my tastes.

Shin- ..I really don't know what to say in response to that. There's nothing to say, I think, so I'll just put a "o_O" here and move on.

Alea- Burritos > (tacos + fajitas) x Taco Bell's cinnamon twists

Azure- I bet you do. :/

Godel- I've forgotten to mention that my White Ninja doodles were entirely off-model and looked more like something out of VGcats with a dildo on its head.

--

My brother decided to buy SSX3. God, what a heap of trash that game is. I played it for a couple of hours, then whipped out Tony Hawk, just to compare the gameplay. THPS / THUG feels so much sleeker, faster-paced, and refined, with about ten times more movies.

Admittedly, THUG has some annoying dialogue, but SSX takes the "..Did that white guy just go 'YEAAAAAAAH, BO-YEE!'" award, hands down. It's frustrating.

On the other hand, SSX has Fischerspooner and The Caesars.. So I guess it evens out.

A RANDOM TOPIC CHANGE EXECUTED WITH NINJA-LIKE PRECISION.

My mom was cleaning this room the other day, and she put a magnet clipboard on the computer. I was going to break something.

Actually, she really cleaned it today while I was at school. There's nothing on the ground, and the desk is (more or less) uncluttered. It is unnerving. Things aren't right when they're clean.

--

I got all excited when I found out that Ted Leo and the Pharmacists were going to be on Conan O'Brien. Then I realized that they were on last Friday, and not this one. A similar thing happened when Pixies were gonna be on PBS or whatever. Since then, I have made it my mission to check my favorite bands' websites every friggin' day, just so I don't miss anything.

--

I went to the mall tonight (rather late, actually- I got there around 6:30), and met up with a few friends. Normally, things are cool there, but when it's on Friday nights things get jacked up. When your friends know all of those odd punk/goth/druggie arcade junkies who spend all their time in there and they have their little conversations while you're standing there with nothing to say to anybody, it's not very great.

On the other hand, I got my very special seventeen-year-old friend to hook me up with the wrapped-in-plastic Saikano Volume 3 today. I've only read the first four pages, so I can't rant about that quite yet.

I left around 8:30, and by then it was pouring rain. My dad had to drop off all those games and movies we rented at Hollywood Video, and getting over there was hell. We came to a train track crossing, which had the little safety rails down even though there was no train. We sat there for fifteen minutes, and people started doing WAY illegal u-turns and pulling up the rails so their cars could get through. Police came, and it was funny. All the crazy ghetto folks fled.

Closing statement: If you're ever bored in an arcade, find the nearest shooting game (preferrably one with just one screen), use both guns, and go dual-wielding on some zombie-slash-terrorist ass. It's exhilirating.

EDIT: For whatever reason, Come On Pilgrim constantly reminds me of FLCL. If I were to ever do an AMV, it would be Isla de Encanta on FLCL. It'd be friggin' sweet.

ANOTHER EDIT: If you find any enjoyment in the novelty of online quizzes, especially if you know anything about Shin Megami Tensei, click here. It's good fun. No pictures, though.

Forgot to mention..

I made a couple of wallpapers for Stella Deus. I'd give my personal critique, as I always do, but I'm afraid that might turn people away from clicking there. I always focus on the more negative side.

Anyway, I'd appreciate some criticism. Thanks.

Wonder how long that'll last..

Comment Commentary

Alea- Wouldn't it be funny if I said that that baby was my cousin, and that everybody who insulted it was an asshole?

James- I second that motion. There's no reason to be kinder to babies than regular human beings.

Shin- I'm fine with 2D fighters, but this one is just.. Lame. Maybe I didn't play it for long enough.

Azure- Are you kidding me? They seriously skinned them like that? I assumed it was a half-assed bitmap-editing thing, like all this "Nude simz!!1" hullaballoo.

It wasn't just nude girls, though. They threw in characters from other games, and anime, and such. I found Penny Arcade forum's thread on it to be entertaining.

--

I bought Katamari Damacy the other day. I'm too tired to go into detail about it, but there's only one way to describe it:

It's Pikmin on lethal amounts of acid.

Mmhm. I say this because it's a puzzle(ish) game revolving around pint-sized aliens on Earth. It is almost painfully Japanese, though. They kept it unlocalized, even in most of the pop culture references.

The music is really great, actually. I would pay for a couple of the songs.

It seems like it's going to be sort of short, though. Oh well, it was only $20 new anyway.

SIDE NOTE: I noticed an odd pattern in quirky Japanese games and odd ice cream companies. You can find the visual aid here.

I smell conspiracy.

--

Our school's been turned into "Tell-the-advanced-students-about-the-advanced-stuff-at-the-high-school" school. They've been trying to convince us to go into the International Baccalaureate program, which is, as they describe it, "college-paced advanced classes." I'm not sure if anyone's familiar with it. According to the statistic they flung at us, there are only 300 high schools in the US doing it.

They say there's four hours of homework a night, and then you have to do the public service (teaching blind-deaf children how to speak is my "advanced" example), and the summer school.. It's apparently worth it. The speaker guy seemed rather.. Out there, but according to him, if you show a European university an IB diploma they automatically accept you. Somehow I find that hard to believe, but that would be wicked schweet.

Not much more to say on that. I bet it will be so much easier than they say (I remember them emphasizing how difficult adjusting to middle school would be), at least until junior year. That's when the proverbial shit hits the fan.

Oddly enough, this was the first time I had been on the high school campus. It's a nice building, compared to all of the elementary and middle schools in this area. Two stories, mostly indoors.. It gives off more of a "school" vibe, and less "trailer park."

--

I ate some tacos today. This is surely a milestone in the history of the world.

Spread love around like a bad fashion trend, or herpes.

Comment Commentary

Mimmi- Yeah, but ours was cut off because my dad didn't pay the entire bill, so I WIN. :P

Alex- I've never seen it in bookstores.. Of course, I've never looked. I recall seeing a few in Best Buy, though. Plus, if worst comes to worst, it's always available on Amazon.com, your number one source for online purchases! :D [/whoring]

Shin- Everything Shin needed to know about pop culture he learned from Futurama.

Mimmi- They have so many art books at Anime Expo.. But damn, they are expensive. Most of the time you can't look inside without buying them first, either.

--

I've become addicted to reading 55 Fiction in the past few days. It's too bad I don't have anything to contribute.

--

I went on a renting spree at Hollywood Video yesterday. The original goal was to rent 2001: A Space Odyssey and Katamari.. Damacy, Damancy, Damnity, Tenacity. Whatever. You know the game I mean.

I prefer Hollywood Video to Blockbuster just because it's a little less well-known. When people want to rent newer games, they flock to Blockbuster. I've found that it's always easier to just go to Hollywood Video and find what you're looking for.

Or, you know, just buy the game. I've found that driving back and forth between my house and both stores for a week straight costs as much in gas as it would to just get the Goddamn game permenantly.

Anyway, they didn't have Katamari, though 2001 was easy to find. I also decided to pick up Guilty Gear X, as my brother found SSX 3.

Guilty Gear, from the five minutes I spent playing it, was lame to the extreme. Screw oldschool-style fighting, bring me some friggin' analog controls.

SSX 3 is okay. I have really fond memories of sitting up in my friend's room playing SSX Tricky for hours on end.. Though I remember it being a lot more fun. It's still a good way to destroy my trigger fingers, though.

Speaking of destruction, I was totally owning everyone I played in Half-Life 2: Deathmatch yesterday. I picked up a crossbow, took care of anyone in my way until I made it to the shotgun, and blasted rebel heads off for about fifteen minutes (that's quite a spree in online FPS terms). The only thing that could end my reign of terror was my mom yelling at me to come eat dinner.

But isn't this the plight of all young online gamers? The dreaded dinner call?

--

I think I forgot to mention that my friend had a bunch of people over at her house the other day. I was going to go, but at the time I was way too congested and cough-ey to attend. It's too bad, too. It sounded like a lot of fun.

But at the same time, it's probably a good thing I didn't go. I'm very well aware of the fact that I put a big cloud over everyone around me.. I would wager that things were very different without me around. Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

That's about as much Valentine's sentiment you'll get out of me: A picture of a baby with a really lame caption that took me half a second to think up.

Unlike a lot of "people without special someones," I don't greet this particular holiday with a mountain of regret and negative vibes. I approach it neutrally- I don't care about it, end of story.

I was going to make a thread about how LokiTorrent, one rather large Bittorent site, got beaten, raped and then killed by the MPAA.. Or maybe about how Tecmo (Or Temco? It's one of the two) is suing some DOAX-modding website. I bet some good conversation could come out of it. What do you all think? I don't want to dedicate an hour or two of my time to writing a post that nobody's going to take a second glance at.

Is it safe to update yet? Really? Well, if you say so..

Comment Commentary

Mimmi- Well I'm glad SOMEBODY got the reference. You people are so uncultured. :P

Shin- It's best when you don't think about it as you do it. I do that with math homework.

Godel- More or less. But I'll talk about that in a minute.

Alea- No, we'll have none of that.

Mal- I hate historical documents in general. They're one of my pet peeves.

--

When I was thinking about what to write, I realized how long it's been since I did a real update. It's been.. What, three days? That's a surefire sign that I've been busy.

They cut off our power the other day. This was the day I was planning to do most of my essay- it was two days before the due date- but when I came home I found the garage door opener to be unoperational, along with pretty much everything else. My family was totally freaked out and pissy towards each other, but I found it hilarious. I called all my friends and told them about how I was now officially Amish. I dunno, maybe that's my way of dealing with stress.

Anyway, there was nothing to do at home, so we went out. For sustenance and heat we went to Pizza Hut. The pizza was crappy, and the jukebox was stuck playing a hell of a lot of the Village People. After that we went to Barnes and Noble, where I did math homework to the tune of a couple of slacker-punk guys talking about BMX and porn.

They had Saikano volume three.. But, as I've said before, it's wrapped in the infamous 18+ plastic. I need to get my hands on that somehow.

For the story. Not the, ahem. Questionable bits.

Even without electricity, I still somehow found a way to stay up late. I pulled my Half-Life 2 behind-the-scenes-documentary book, entitled "Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar," off of my shelf. I've had it since my birthday in December, but I've never really payed attention to it. I knew that looking at it would spoil Half-Life 2 for me, but that was no longer an issue, seeing as I had beaten the game a couple of days before.

I really love art books. It's so great to look at at how characters and ideas progressed in games and movies and so on.

The power came back on the next day.. And all was right with the world.

We got a magical extension on the essay / project, but I decided to do mine on time anyway, for whatever reason. I was up until 12:30 writing it, briefly proofreading it, and scanning in different bits of propaganda. I think it came out all right.. Though I had a major panic attack last night when I had this false realization that I forgot to double-space it. My left arm was tingling for fifteen minutes, I was so spazzed.

--

My brother decided that he wanted a TV in his room the other day, and he had the money to buy one with. I was fine with that until he decided that he wanted to put the Gamecube in there. The TV in this room was placed here specifically for games- it has the little box with multiple AV plugs for multiple consoles, and the comfy "game chair." It has become my little corner haven. He has disrupted the flow of sanctity in this household. He shall BURN.

On the bright side, it keeps him away from this room more. I care less now that I have beaten Resident Evil 4 (LAMEST FINAL BOSS EVER).

If he had said "I'm taking the PS2" instead, I would have been like "Aw HE-YEL NO" and bitch-slapped him. Shows where my priorities lie, huh?

--

I finally found my Yuki Kajiura CDs (.hack//SIGN OST 1 and Fiction) today. Somebody thought it would be a good idea to put them in the DVD cupboard-ish thing, which I never look in. Anyway, they're now ripped and on my iPod, and that's a good thing. I've forgotten how great Ms. Kajiura is, in the midst of all of my angsty aggro/indie/garage/retro/nu-metal music.

I realize that I'm skipping a Superlative Scanning Saturday, but I didn't draw anything this week. I have a bunch of works in progress.. Expect more next week.

Closing statement: I have 633 songs on my iPod now, and it's only 12% full. God, this is the greatest electronic device ever.

EDIT: Also, I bought Etro Anime's "See The Sound" on Amazon.com today. They're the people who did the song in the Digital Devil Saga trailer. Sexy electronic drum-n-bass jazz. Good stuff, my friends. Good stuff indeed.

ANOTHER EDIT: Well, happy birthday to me. They moved FullMetal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex up half an hour. I'm a happy camper now. Whee.
