A major quandry.
Comment Commentary
Shin- Yes, but I bet you're still wearing shorts.
Ken- Good old rain.
--
I bought a bag of Smarties on impulse the other day, and as I was eating them I looked at the wrapper and saw something that caught my eye: "Now in seven great flavors." This lead me to some very independent film-esque thinking: I've always known that Smarties have had different flavors, but what exactly are the flavors? Unlike most candies, the flavors are very different from each other, but I am unable to distinguish what they exactly are.
They're different kinds of sweetness, seemingly based off of fruits, but the amount of artificial flavoring must be huge, because it tastes almost synthetic.. In a delicious way.
After much half-assed introspective musing (BEST SENTENCE EVER), I came to the conclusion that the Smarties company just uses different brands of sugar for each color.. But I may just send them an email about it, because I'm weird like that.
So there you have it, some food for thought.
--
It was cloudy and drizzly all day today, and it rocked. I wish I could have taken a picture as I was walking to the school gate. The sky was a perfect, smooth shade of gray that was not broken up by a patch of sky or an extra layer of cover. It was as if the sky itself was gray instead of blue, and that the green trees and brownish grass were the only colored things in the world. In a very run-down, bland way, it was a beautiful sight.
Every time it rains my mom tries to make me wear this really bulky rain jacket to school, but as I tell her every time, all of my classes are right next to each other and I can seek refuge in the library at lunch. I rubbed the proof of this (my very dry jacket) in her face after school, because I suck.
It seems that it's not allowed to rain during lunch. It never, ever does, so I didn't need to go into the library. Instead we stood in the soggy grass and listened to an assortment of trance and.. I don't know what to call it (screw description), until a yard monitor person came over and said that she would take the CD players away if she had to, because they would get stolen. Not that she wanted to.
..Yeah, they would get stolen by faculty 8,000 times sooner than by a student. Unless it's, like, an expensive 20GB jukebox, nobody would care, and even then we're so far off in the outskirts of the school yard that nobody could even see the earbuds.
At least this school's.. "Security" is more lenient than my elementary school's. I swear, they would accuse anybody of bringing a weapon or something to school unless it was a timid little hispanic girl. That's not me being racist- that's the truth. I remember how one friend of mine brought a lock pick to school one time in sixth grade ("JUST LIKE SPLINTER CELL!1"), and he almost got suspended because it could be considered a weapon.
Like a baseball bat. Or a shoe. Or a puzzle piece.
But this is a really stupid rant, no?
In-class, nothing that great happened, but I did get a 100% on the 1984 AR test. I spent a little while last night going over cliffnotes, and I didn't learn anything. When I enjoy a book, I'll remember every little detail, but when it's boring I zone out. Especially when I have to read it at 7 in the morning.
But yeah, I don't know what I'm going to read next. AR-friendly suggestions, anyone (*cough* Shin)?
I looked through my science notes for no reason today. I always doodle in the margins, as Godel knows, and I am pleased with some of the twisted shit I come up with. Some of it's totally lame things- practically stick figures- but they always have something interesitng to say. To counterbalance that, I also do a bunch of more.. Realistic things, I guess. It's not all that realistic, but I put more time into it.
And I still make them say stupid things. I drew this guy in a World War I German uniform holding up his arm Hitler-style (WWI person + WWII gesture = ??), but to avoid my teacher getting pissy I drew a breakfast pastry flying away from him, and he was trying to catch it.
"Mein strudel!"
..It loses a lot in the way I talk about it. It's really quite something.
Closing Statement: If I were to ever take all of my friends on a big vacation, it would just be on a big yacht. Personally, I wouldn't have much of a desire to go anywhere- who needs sight-seeing when you have friends?
And in international waters, too.

The amazing thing is that I woke up on time (Exactly 6:00), and I'm not the least tired. Of course, this always happens after I've been on break for a while, and it's been proven that it only lasts one day (Prediction for tomorrow: Cloudy with a 98% chance of waking up late), but this one was particularly nice.
School today.. Well, I'll fix this when I get back. It's supposed to be really rainy. They have flash flood warnings going off every thirty seconds on every television station in the same brain-numbing voice as always. I'm not going to get cold, and I'm not going to get wet.
For I am at the right hand of GOD.
..Or maybe my jacket's just nice and warm and fuzzy (^.^ ^.^ ^.^).

That's not the spirit. Try again.
Comment Commentary
DDG- Hey, give that's mine.
Syk- Says the man who has owned Metal Gear Solid 3 for a week now and hasn't touched it.
Shin- Whatever, bitch.
--
I didn't do a real update yesterday because I've been so preoccupied with.. Well, games (Sen playing games? NEVER). Knights of the Old Republic, The Chronicles of Riddick, and The Sims 2. Good stuff, man.
I was anticipating KOTOR (the first one, on PC) most, so I played it first. After installation, it didn't work, but that was only because certain drivers weren't installed. Damn OEMs.
It's cool, but not as interesting as I had hoped. As with all RPGs I have ever played, the gameplay started out rather weak, but as with Nocturne I am confident that it will pick up. I'm going Dark Side, of course, just because I want to choke people from a distance. Actually, I haven't been sticking with it.. Sometimes I just can't bring myself to killing innocents, and other times I can't wait to jump at the oppurtunity. Oh well.
Riddick, so far, is sort of a letdown. Granted, I've only played ten to fifteen minutes of it, but the stealth feels rather simple.
My first impressions tend to be wrong. So ignore these observations.
But The Sims 2. Hot damn, is it good. Technically, it's my brother's, but he's been gracious enough to be smaller than me so that I can shove him aside and play.
(Actually, he and I have a history with fighting over simulation games. It started with Sim City 3000, then the first Sims game, then Animal Crossing, and now The Sims 2. If I recall, we've been pretty violent about it too.)
As with the first game, downloading new outfits and creating new characters is the major draw for me. The level of customization in this game is next to indescribable.. It's leaps and bounds above anything else I've ever seen. There's a decent variety of clothing, and combining different stuff to make other outfits adds to more possibilities, but I'm finding it harder to find decent skins. Sure, it's only been out for a couple months, but the lack of quality, non-paysite fan works is perturbing. It's as if everything outside of the official Sims 2 website costs money, and all of the good skinners are kept out of it.
So I decided to make my own skins.
And how much fun that is.
I can't talk about it right now- My brother's hassling me to get off so he can play- but I promise to all of you (Karmi in particular) that all of these shittastic gamer posts will be silenced some when school starts up again on Monday. He's gracious enough to let me talk about a couple smaller things first, though.
Piano. I've been voluntarily playing piano a lot more recently. I actually got some practice in before the day of the lesson. It's not like I got new songs that are a ball to play. I've had these same ones for a while. I seem to be very productive when the computer is taken away from me (as with my brother and his new obsession).. Maybe I'll take an Azure-esque sabbatical someday.
Ted Leo And The Pharmacists. "Shake The Sheets." Buy it right now. Hell, download it for all I care. They fucking rock.
Twilight Zone Marathon. Oh God yes. DVDs, por favore.
Shonen Jump. In Yu-Gi-Oh they jumped from just before Duelist Kingdom to just after Battle City. Is that how the manga really goes? They talk about those two.. Tournaments, or whatever, but it's nowhere to be found.
I'm wondering why I care about Yu-Gi-Oh. My subscription's dead, actually. I'm not sure if I'll renew it or not.
The White Stripes. Elephant is not as good as De Stijl. Their DVD is out now, and I'm going to buy it on discount at Amazon.com.
Good writing techniques. Apparently nonexistent in this update. Sue me.

Well, well.
Let's give Shin a hand, for being the only person to always comment. Shame on the rest of you.

Good to be Bach.
Comment Commentary
Syk- Live action. It was in TECHNICOLOR, too.
James- You were so right about how cool it is to control the Ant Lions.. Man, that was awesome.
Shin- The voices "aren't so bad"? What kind of god-awful games are you listening to?
Mal- Hm.. I think I'm going to have to think of all of your comments and updates as if you said them in a thick Southern accent, just for fun.
Tony- Impressive.. Though I was pretty let-down by Nocturne's soundtrack. The music was a lot cooler when you had it playing in the background of the game, but listening to it by itself.. Nah.
--
I'd like to get this out of the way for Karmi so she can be quiet about how my posts suck: Super Mario Bros. and Animal Crossing.
--
Our trip home.. Was insane. Not just a little bit insane, mind you, but Norman Bates + Leatherface + my math teacher insane. Huge.
We were supposed to come back yesterday. We woke up at six, got all our stuff together, drove down to the terminal, said our goodbyes, and walked inside only to find out that our flight had been cancelled. Isn't it generally a habit to call ahead of time to make sure this doesn't happen? Well, my mom didn't, for whatever reason, and so we had to call our family to drive back and bring us home. We slept for most of the day, as my dad was on the phone negotiating with the crazy airline people. He got royally pissed when he found out he had to miss another day of work, so he got all Captain Ahab on us.. Only not with whales. More like commercial airliners.
In the end, we got a flight that worked, but it wasn't at all pretty. We were desperate, though, withering away at my grandmother's house, so we would take anything.
Even a 23-hour adventure that took us from Pittsburgh to Baltimore to Denver to San Jose to Los Angeles.
And it was madness.
We had our dog with us, so he scratched at his cage the entire time. He's a quiet dog, though, so there wasn't much barking, aside from this conversation he had with some other dog on one of the planes. I forget which, because they all blurred together.
Layovers.. They were all, fortunately, short, but apparently not long enough to get me food, no matter how fucking starving I was. There was a Panda Express in Denver just taunting me.
Our luggage didn't seem to appear when we finally got to LAX. We stood there waiting at carousel number two, amongst the.. Rainbow of people you find in that airport, for an hour, and we only found two items. The other five turned out to be in the back room, because they got a direct flight and we didn't. Grr.
I make it sound like it was shitty, but it was a nice adventure. I'm glad to be back.
..And I'm tired. And I want to play KOTOR. So I shall end this post now.
EDIT: Oh, and happy new year. I'm not doing anything tonight.. I'll probably just watch Comedy Central's thing and eat popcorn.

Fine, don't comment. See if I care.
Comment Commentary
Syk- Bah, I was expecting to freeze my ass off, but I've built up a resistance due to our evil weather before school. It's not cold at all.
Karmi- Yeah. ;_;
Shin- All the humor was in the narration.. Because of that, I was worried about the movie, but some of it transferred well. Sunny's lines were way funnier in the books.

Considering I only updated a little while ago, there's not too much news to report. We're over here again, this time for a football game (Steelers are winning 16 to 7, woot), and of course I'm not that interested. I know about football, and I'll watch a little of it every so often, but I don't watch it religiously, not even for the Steelers, who have been engraved into my brain from years of my parents' fandome.
So I guess I'll just talk about some of the odd things I've noticed about this crazy little town.
Whenever you go to a different place, there are always little details that differ from where you live. I've been here enough times to make a few observations worth noting, the first being the kindness of the townsfolk. It's sort of disgusting, frankly. Being the big city (suburb) boy from California that I am, I'm used to everyone being jackasses. Here, people are courteous, and I have the uncontrollable urge to kick them. Kindness is bad. I want the people bagging my groceries to spit in my eggs, otherwise I get homesick. Hell, I even asked some guy walking down the street to call me a douchebag.
There's a lot of terminology, too. Instead of rubber band, people say "gum band." The first time I was here I asked somebody for rubber bands, and they didn't know what I was talking about. Now, with more experience, I know that not everybody is completely oblivious to this west-side term, but I suppose my reaction was funny the first time. There's also "take out the light." This means simply "turn off the light," but much irritation has come from this one. My dad got yelled at for three straight hours one time because he actually unplugged a light and sat it on the front porch.
Which was stupid.
But funny.
I've seen people wearing shorts here.
--
*takes a minute to kick the creators of Sonic Adventure 2's heads in* God damn I'm getting tired of hearing this game.
--
Everybody is a football fan here. It's game day, you see, and I haven't seen a single person outside of my house that didn't have black and gold on. Thus, I believe that if anybody who isn't wearing black and gold shall be interrogated, accused of being a Chargers fan, and burned at the stake outside of the stadium.
Every single restaurant seems to have a name such as Eat-and-Park, Poot-and-Scoot, or something of that sort. It follows a formula: Verb + conjunction + other verb = restaurant. There you go. Pizza is greasier here, food is fattier.. Portions are the same, but prices are cheaper. Eat-and-Park is similar to Denny's (They seem to be big on smilie faces), but it's so much cheaper than in California. It's unfair.
There aren't as many big roads. In California there are always main thoroughfares (God, if I spelled that right, my self esteem will go up three points) that you drive through, but here, in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, you always have to drive through the little neighborhood streets. It's cool at Christmastime because you can see all of the decorations (I took a few pictures of the available "highlights"), but it's alway winds around and you can get lost easily.
--
..I am going to have to go do something, such as putting my fingers in my ears and shouting "LA LA LA" really loudly to avoid hearing Sonic Adventure 2. Buh-bye.
EDIT: Before I forget, we were watching the local Adelphia station last night and the "Midnight Movie" came on. Considering how poorly funded the station is, it's usually one of those obscure movies you'll never care about. This time, however, they went all-out and jumped for a big-time movie. A holiday classic. A hearwarming story for the whole family for generations to come.
And that movie is called "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians."
It was, shockingly, a story about Santa Claus and Martians. Not so much the conquering, though. Santa got taken away from Earth for whatever reason (I was too busy laughing), and I don't know why but there were two human children with him who always seemed to have a primal symbiotic need to be touching him, and there were two factions of the Martians: The happy, friendly ones with funny hats and nasty, inconsistent makeup who wanted Santa to make toys for the Martian children, and the bad, evil Martians with funny hats and nasty, inconsistent makeup who didn't want the children to be happy.
Or something.
I wasn't really paying attention.
Anyway, Santa's Martian Workshop was all mechanized and happy and shit. There were little chutes marked with such things as "bat," "doll," and "train." Twelve of them, I believe, which led to very constrained giftage. What about the kids who want world peace, or a new mommy since their old one died of three obscure STDs contracted from cats, or plutonium?
"I got a train! What did you get?"
"..I got a train too. Same one."
"Santa, you bitch!"
In the end, Santa got to go back to Earth because some retarded alien who wanted to be Santa got his extra suit (and somehow accumulated a fake beard) and proved to be good at pushing buttons, despite his.. Mental handicaps, so he became the new Martian Santa. And Earth Santa didn't mind his enslavement, and had no hard feelings. And the evil Martians, with their semi-automatic laser beams got defeated by a bunch of children, Martian and Human, with a bunch of confetti and toys and shit. Yay for the little children! Boo for a millenium of military technology.
If you ever have the chance to see this movie, watch it. It's so Mystery Science Theatre 3000 material.

Madness.
Comment Commentary
Syk, if you ever do that again, and I mean EVER, I will personally hunt you down and slit your throat.
*decides not to comment on any of that*
Syk- Yes, I am too critical. Shame.
Shin- I could have gone into a lot more, but if it were any longer it would have been compressed even more, making it look like garbage.
Almost on the level of your Excel Saga banner, Shin. :P
Mal- So much useless stuff, too.
--
Pittsburgh has been interesting thus far.. Albeit a bit dull. At my grandmother's house, where we are staying, there's no internet, so I've been pretty much listening to my iPod and reading 1984. Before Christmas we spent more time in the mall than at home (or so it seems). There are two malls here- South Hills Village and Century III. South Hills is nicely kept, with DDR (slippery crappy pads), but Century III has so many stores it's heaven. They actually had a store dedicated to comic books. I haven't seen one in forever.. I even found I Feel Sick and Filler Bunny #1 (Vasquez, woot), which I quickly bought.
The store owners were cool. They were nothing like Comic Book Guy (Biggest. Biatch. Ever), and they knew what I was talking about without ridiculing it. I didn't even give Filler Bunny a thought until they brought it up.
And it's hilarious. Much more than I Feel Sick. IFS, a two-book continuation of the Johnny universe, was more angst and less humor, which isn't a bad thing, but I didn't identify with dear old Devi as much. The art was really cool (it's the only color Jhonen comic, spare Everything Can Be Beaten, which doesn't count), which makes up for a lot of the faults.
Um.. What else?
Hm, I can't quite seem to remember.
This happens when you have such horrible memory, you know.
Oh, right, Christmas.
As far as the Christmas giftage went, I got KOTOR and the Riddick game (Both on PC, and I can't play them here because there are no decent computers), the final volume of FLCL, and Elephant by The White Stripes. There was other stuff, but nothing much worth noting (my brother got a DS, which I've been playing more than him). Considering the events of my birthday, I should consider myself freaking lucky.
Speaking of the iPod, there's this ugly scratch down the middle of the screen. I don't know where it came from, but I'm horrified to look at the thing now.
We also saw two movies. As my mom and grandmother were doing their shopping-and-decorating thang, my dad, brother and I got sent out of the house twice. The first time we saw A Series of Unfortunate Events, which was overall quite pleasant (as pleasant as it can be), on the whole. The ending was atrocious, as a fan of the books, but if I hadn't read the novels I would have totally loved it.
They rearranged the happenings a bit. The Marvelous Marriage dealie was at the end, which I can't blame them for. It created a bigger climax than The Wide Window could have. However, the ending got me royally ticked. The whole "Aww, Olaf got what was coming to him" thing made me stab my seat with my cell phone, and the twinge of optimism at the end made me blow my brains out with the Time Crisis light gun they had in the lobby.
So to speak.
We saw National Treasure yesterday, and the whole ordeal was laughable. On the way home we all formulated where the other national treasure was, and it was something like this.
"If you look on the third seat of the fifth row of this very theater, you will find a piece of gum stretched out so that it somewhat resembles an arrow. If you follow that arrow you will be led to the food court. The compass in the middle is painted onto the tile, and if you look directly to the north of it you shall find.. PANDA EXPRESS. Between the Kung Pao Chicken and Orange Chicken platters is an engraving that says 'Look to the grave of all dignity.'
SO WE WENT TO ARBY'S. There we found a note telling us to look at Suncoast's neon sign when the clock hits 2. BUT THEN WE REMEMBERED THAT IT WAS ON DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME AND THAT SUNCOAST USED TO BE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MALL BY VICTORIA'S SECRET. But then we kind of got tired and went home."
You kind of have to see the movie to get it. 'Twas quite stupid.
I'm at my aunt and uncle's house right now, listening to my six-year-old cousin playing Sonic Adventure 2.
I will fucking kill Amochao or whatever his name is. And every other voice actor in that game. I don't remember it being so shitty.
I remember playing the game in Toys R Us all those years ago, going "omfg this is so cool," and buying a Dreamcast just for it. I bought Crazy Taxi, too, and that was about it for that console.
How stupid I was.
My uber-cool 20-something year old cousin isn't here, though her games are. She has Grand Theft Auto, which I am unable to play (Curse.. Uh.. Everyone), and it's just sitting there, taunting me.
It's Vice City, not San Andreas, but I could deal. I think.
I sent Karmi her magical card the second I could, and I hope it gets to her on time. Stupid postal service might crap out.. But I sent it on the twenty-second.
Aw, did somebody else want a card?
WELL TOO BAD. YOU DIDN'T ASK.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to go catch up on my webcomics. Merry Christmas, and pleasant other-holidays, everyone.
Closing Statement: Super Mario 64 DS is so totally amazerful, and the minigames rock, and it doesn't even feel like the old game at all, and I've fallen back in love with handheld games. I picked up Metroid: Zero Mission, and it's nice. The end.

Take that, jackass.
Comment Commentary
Azure- Things change, Azure. Why can't you see that!? *runs away crying*
Karmi- Well there are certainly enough of them around here.
Shin- I could have sworn you said you liked Doolittle most.
Shin- Should anything go in its other orifices?
Mal- My friends are evil when they play it. They just have to have the huge level with the vehicles, every time. That doesn't make it a shooting game, it makes it a run-over-everyone game.
It was okay when it was in the cramped indoor levels, I suppose.
Syk- Reasons your opinion is invalid:
3) Your friend's computer sucks.
2) Your perception of "good game" sucks.
1) Most of all, you suck.
:P
--
See? I told you it sucked.
Let's give Syk a big hand for hosting the file. He had to do a lot of compressing before it would come close to showing up, but it looks good enough.
*shakes fist at Azure*
I have had the idea for this comic for a long time, but as I was drawing it I realized how much sense it really made. After my experiences with choosing computer parts, and finding out how evil having other people take care of things for you can be, the moral of "If you want something done right, do it yourself" made a lot more sense to me.
And I jabbed at Alienware knockoff products. Go, me.
..And there's nothing else to talk about. I love how I can put up a comic and not bother about doing anything substantial with the update.
Also: This is probably the last update you'll get from me for a while. There's no internet access at my grandmother's house in Pittsburgh, but there is at my aunt's. If I dare travel outside and drive to the other side of town in that weather, I'll be sure to update. Until then I bid you all adieu.
EDIT: Green Tea...
You are Green Tea!
Strong and very smart you prefer peace to violence and very rarely take action if it involves confrontation. But you make up for this with your keen insight and understanding of the world and people around you, you have a very mysterious nature. Many people see you as laid back and that may be true but you are very intelligent and make good decisions.
What type of Tea are you? {-With Anime Pictures!-} brought to you by Quizilla

The circle of life, death and updating this damn blog.
Comment Commentary
Shin- Now all we need to do is make Hallmark produce cards about it.
Syk- It got old fast. Same old flashbangs, same old levels, same objectives.
Karmi- What, do you want me to write about how many times I ate Goldfish today? I'm out of topics here.
--
Well, all the family has left now. It was a pleasant evening. The new baby was predictably smothered (They all start looking the same after a while), but he's not at that age where he starts getting irritating, so he's cool with the Sen-man.
Oh I am so cool.
I was bestowed a couple gift cards, which I am going to ration for after the new year. Because I feel like it, and if I say why Karmi is going to make herself blind.
I think the highlight was when all of the male attendants gathered around to gawk at the wonders of Half-Life 2. Most of them are Halo devotees- casual ones- and they didn't know much about Half-Life 2. They seemed to fall in love. At one point, one of them said, "I can't watch anymore. If I do, I'll go home play Halo 2 and go 'pfft.'"
Assimilation! Victory!
The downside to that is that they're all waiting for Xbox ports. They say that the PC controls hurt their hands.
o_O
--
Shin sent me MP3s (Not WMAs for once) of Trompe Le Monde from the Pixies, and it rocks. So far, I don't like it as much as Dolittle. It seems a lot more mellow, I think, and a lot of the songs sound the same because of that. Dolittle had songs like Debaser and Crackity Jones to break that up.
Of course, I wasn't fond of most of Dolittle at first, either. It will probably grow on me, like so much music does.
It's fun stalling on the comic. I think I'm just going to settle with Comic Sans MS for now, because my Fonts folder is being a big pain in the chair-warmer. It's actually 100% done.. It's just a very large file, and 250free won't host smething this big. That's the penalty for 8-panel comics, I suppose.
Isn't it great how God is doing everything in his power to keep you all from reading this? It's probably for your own good. I mean, this seriously blows.
Or maybe I'm being too Piro on myself.
Azure, you'd better get me that freaking Earthlink account before Tuesday.

Just look at the shininess!
Comment Commentary
James- I think they're afraid of expanding to Australia, for obvious reasons.
Shin- Just for that, I'm going to take pictures of myself drinking a coke with it.
Mal- It's fun when you surprise yourself with the quality. Otherwise.. Bleh.
sweetcandy06- Oh yes indeed.
Stacie- Eh, he always calls me that. I've sort of developed an immunity to it.
--
To celebrate my time off, today became National Do Jack Shit Day. Aside from a bit of cleaning, I just sat around and did whatever I felt like doing. This boiled down to the following:
- Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. I really prefer this to Counter-Strike.. Probably because I'm better at it, heh. There aren't enough official maps, though. There are some cool fan-made ones (there was one with nothing but glass floors and whoever didn't crash and die first one), but they get old.
And then people start using wall-hacks. Grr.
- Counter-Strike. If there's one thing I've learned from this game, it's that some people have absolutely no lives. How can somebody get that good? I'll tell you how: Locking themselves in their rooms for three straight years to achieve maximum pwnage.
- Practicing my iPod dance. Well, not really.
- Actually playing Half-Life 2. Man, there is nothing cooler than driving along in a vehicle while shooting at a helicopter.. As you run over Combine guards and go flying off of ramps. It's like being a Warthog driver and the gunner.
Suck on that, Halo.
I have a very strong urge to bash the Xen aliens' heads in with my crowbar every time I see them. They were the enemies in Half-Life 1, but some of them seem to be domesticated and speak fluent English now. It's too bad that you can't injure friendlies.. I would do it just to see how one would react.
--
Thanks to my brother's "schemes" I think this computer already has a virus. I tried installing Norton Antivirus today (it seems to have been uninstalled), and it won't come up "because a virus or attacker has tried to block your protection"). This sucks.
We should be having family over tomorrow.. I'll probably be reclusive like on Thanksgiving. When we go to Pittsburgh and see the other family, then I'll probably be more active.
Comic's almost done, but it looks like crap. I don't have a decent comic font, either, and that's the main reason it's not up right now.
