Three sick days..
Whee, three whole sick days. And I didn't have anything to do to enjoy any of them.

It was a miserable head cold, with no fever but plenty of violent coughing and congestion, and I basically sad around under a blanket for 72 hours.

And that's why I wasn't online yesterday. I was too incoherent and half-unconcious to even remember how to turn on the computer.

Well, I'll be back in school tomorrow. Technically, I think I could have been back today, but I "forgot" to do all my homework, so.. :p Whatever.

Sick day!
Yes, I woke up with a 100-degree temperature and a horribly violent cough! And oh joy, I got a sick day! Oh, can't you just imagine all of the fun things I did?

Well, it boiled down to this:

-Slept in until 9
-Watched The Daily Show with John Stewart and Late Night with Conan O'Brien
-Drank some tea
-Watched VH1 shows about Christina Aguilera (or however it's spelled)
-Ate some rice crispies
-Talked to some friends who also are sick

The miserable coughing has subsided now, for the most part, but everything still tastes like phlegm. It's not pleasant.

I helped a friend with Metroid Prime, though for the most part he figured things out by himself while I blew my nose into a tissue. Friend #2 was playing The Sims: Bustin' Out and was telling me every single aspect of what he was doing.

I was high off of medicine, my vision was blurred, and I really didn't comprehend a thing either of them said.

And now, I'll probably go back to school tomorrow. I mean, I certainly hope I will.. I've been absent on several occasions lately, and teachers may be suspicious of my not being there on the same day my two best friends are also missing.

Plus, my PE grade probably sucks right now. Here, we're graded on three things: Dressing out (into PE uniform), participation, and actually being there. As in, if one of us were to suddenly get the measles or something, and had to stay home for a few weeks, our PE grade would plummet. As if we could do anything about our crappy immune systems.

*yawns* My MyOtaku's at 88 now. Woo-hoo.

..Bleh.
Boredome.

Nothing too relevant happened today. o_o Monica's friend has gone into hyper sexual harrassment mode as of late towards my sect of friends as of late. She's sort of like a real-life, toned down Karmi.

Scary.. o_o' Of course, as Karmi herself would say, you can't sexually harrass the willing. ~_^

School was dull today. Nothing eventful happened. It "rained", as these California-bred whiners, would say, though it was more of a light sprinkling. It was barely feelable and yet people were running around like mad and hiding under trees or getting in a room. It's pathetic.

Oh yeah, my brother bought Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Saturday night. We spent a few hours playing it, got sort of bored (as it took a while before things got fun), and watched some Saturday Night Live.

We picked it up the next day, and had a lot more fun than before. It turns out that one-player mode is the issue. 2-player was fun, and 3 or 4-player is probably better. We're currently in Year 2, in the Goblin Wall, and it's sort of irritating. We know exactly what we're supposed to do, but all these giant orcs and goblin mages pop out of nowhere and gang up on us every time. We're all out of phoenix downs, too, so we had either enlist other people to help us, or shape up.

Yeah. It's 6 and I already have my homework done. Wow, that hasn't happened in a while.

New MyOtaku MP3..
Yes, it took hours upon hours, but I finally found the full version of "It's All About the Pentiums" by Weird Al Yankovic. It's a very nice song, if you listen to it.

This one's for all you PC-gamers out there. Word. *West-side Syk3 Gangsta Sign*

Well, I did nothing today. I finally beat Metroid Prime without touching the player's guide, though it took me a couple tries to beat Ridley and the actual Metroid Prime.

Really, they weren't aggrivating as a lot of other final bosses have been. o_O They were fun to destroy. The actual Fission Metroids before Metroid Prime were the major problem.

They just.. Kept.. Multiplying.. *shudders*

I didn't get a very good ending though. I think I'll go back (using the player's guide) and get all of the energy tanks and missile expansions that I missed.

Later.

The n00bs of v7..
Yes, v7's been up for about three days now, and there are already two or three spammy-n00bs of the brave new version that shall die if they don't shape up.

I won't name names, as I do not want to offend anyone, but they are there. Shin said he found the first real spam of the Play It forum today.

But I should not preach, for I was once a n00b. If you look at my old posts, as in the ancient ones from way back in July of 2003, I was really a plague to OtakuBoards. I believe I had 24 posts within the second day of my registering, primarily in the anime lounge and .hack//SIGN forum. They were all awful posts, nothing over a half-decent paragraph, and there were a few one-worded posts in there. I was reminded of my younger days as I looked at a craptacular thread that was in the battle forum.

*cough*

Oh, and also, my MyOtaku jumped to 91 again. If I just make a post about porno sites, gay marriage or something really, really offensive I'll make the jump to #89 soon. Woo-hoo.

I did nothing today. School was okay; Science was half-interesting (heredity is an interesting subject if you think of plants' stamens and pistils in a perverted context. My friend Ethan and I made quite a few jokes about how Self-Pollination is not a sin in the plant world), I think I did okay on my Math Test (I had better. I studied for that thing for two hours last night), the inconsistencies of adverbs in Language Arts became apparent, lunch was crappy, I drew a surrealistic picture of a nuclear holocaust in art (it's an okay drawing, but nothing quite worth posting), and we had a cool substitute teacher in Social Studies. He seemed rather cynical, but enjoyable. Kept the class under more control than our regular teacher normally does.

We're learning about Japan in History right now. It's annoying how everyone, even the teacher, are misspelling Japanese names and such.

THE TEACHER IS SPELLING HIRAGANA WITH AN I AT THE END INSTEAD OF AN A.

That gets annoying. Buddhism is now dubbed "booty-ism", and the term "Shikaka" makes the entire room crack up.

I wouldn't mind stapling all their mouths shut.

Finally!
Yes! I may once again prey upon the unsuspecting Otakuites by means of OB! It's finally back! I can stop making up threads and taping them to my computer monitor and waiting for someone to reply!

Yes, James and Justin really did an awesome job here. I love the layout, though it seemed a little cluttered at first, and the Liquid skin is even more beautiful than v6's Liquid.. And that was a beautiful skin. Geisha's pretty good also, and I believe Lady Asphyxia mentioned that a truckload of skins is coming. I cannot wait.

Well, I was more active on OB, post-wise, than I have been in months. I made three whole posts today. Technically, I made four, but I was foolish enough to hit the back button when previewing my post. That was the best one, too. *sobs*

Well, my grades are better than I thought they were. I have a 92% in math, instead of an 82, so that's good. And my Science should be back up to A status by now.

Well, I'm gonna go make some popcorn now, later, people.

Oh, and also: Haha, I'm #92 on MyOtaku. Sweet. I'm climbing up the ladder, ever so slowly.

...Bleh.
I want my v7.

Yeah, today was boring.

I want my v7.

And, well, all I did was go to the mall.

Did I mention that I want my v7?

Okay, enough of that disgrace to anyone who appreciates paragraph structure. My day was dull. I woke up around eleven, and helped Syk find some pictures for some avatars he was making. Then I went to the mall for a while. Watched people play DDR for a while. And eventually, I got to actually do a few songs. -_- Songs that I didn't want to play, that are far too difficult, even on a lower level, and I did miserably in front of a crowd of people. Why were I playing these, you ask? Because some DDR-expert-ey guy wanted to play too, so I let him join in. =_= I didn't think he would choose every friggin' song, though.

So, yeah. I'm sitting here, waiting for v7, and doing nothing special.

o.o This is my worst m0 post yet.

Oh, the things we do when we're bored..
Yeah, I was really, really bored today. I then decided to do a google search on Conspiracy sites. Oh, the fun I had.

I happened to find a page entitled "Jackalope Conspiracies", and it's about the crappiest (but funniest) website ever.

I also found a cool one about a Picasso painting that wasn't found until 1975, and it had lots of subliminal stuff in it. There were phrases, numbers, and dates all over the textures. One has to squint pretty hard to see them, but they're there. Also, when the painting is turned upside-down it looks like a distorted Frankenstein monster..

It's pretty funny imagining what the people who find these things are like. I mean, one site showed how to fold 5, 10, 20, and 50 dollar bills so they show 9/11 scenes.. One can fold a five over in a certain way and see the Pentagon right after it got hit. How long do you wager it took these people to find anything that vaguely resembles what they were looking for?

I also made my dad some coupons for this big tent sale his Honda dealership's having this weekend.

I know it looks like total crap here, but when printed out on my dad's work's photocopier, it won't look half-decent otherwise. It looked really good before, when it was in green and still had the serial numbers, but the lawyers said that it looked too much like real money that way.

I then got really aggrivated and butchered this thing.

Hopefully, though, I'll get some money out of it now. My father was really impressed, apparently.

Well, v7 is almost here, and I can't wait. OB's only been down for 2 days and I'm making sculptures out of ham and adding conspiracy websites to my bookmarks. I'm also making a new banner/avatar for v7, entitled "INDUSTRIALIZATION 2". I can't find any good pictures for it, though. I may have to drop the title, forget the theme and just make a really awesome banner using the same colorization-of-landscapes thing. Besides, not even the great Sennen can replicate the might of Industrialization 1. ~_^

Yes, this overly long MyOtaku post is the perfect example of what a lack of OB does to Sennen.

...
Wow, that's interesting. I just got off the phone with Mr. Ethan, and guess what! He got beat up and stuffed into a trash can today.

I'm really surprised it was him that got injured. All of my other friends are more nerdly, in one way or another.

Too tired.. Must give details later...

*twitch*
...Ugh.

As some of you have heard from me, "Scrub Day" is supposedly every Friday the 13th at our school, when the 8th grade people are rumored to pummel any 7th grade people into total submission. I really hadn't worried about it that much until my friends received multiple threats from some random people whose names escape me at the moment. Ethan and Frankie were, apparently, not going to school today, but they ended up going anyway. My parents.. o_O Unplugged my alarm clock and kept me out of school.

I was planning on going, though. I had thought of ways to get around most likely scenarios, on the off-chance that something did in fact go down, but I ended up staying here. And I feel cowardly.

It was fun, though, today. I slept in until 11 to catch up on lost time and read Squee's Wonderful Giant Big Book of Unspeakable Horrors until noon when I ate some Trix and watched MadTV. It was good to just have a day to myself, and not feel rushed by the shortest 48 hours of the week (The weekend, of course).

I wonder what Frankie and Ethan will say, though. Frankie will probably call me a coward and ridicule me, and Ethan will probably be silently agitated. Or he may not care.

I'm getting very tired of math class. I don't know what my problem is, though. Up until the second trimester of this school year I have done nothing but get straight A's in math. Maybe it's the teacher's methods, or maybe I'm just too distracted by something, but I'm tired of getting C's on math quizzes.

Oh, what a rude awakening. :p

So now I have a four-day weekend ahead of me. What I'll do will probably go as follows:

-Talk to friends on the phone tonight
-Try to get to the mall tomorrow, but to no avail
-Sulk about it and whine on MyOtaku regarding how boring this weekend is
-Watch Saturday Night Live, get to bed at 1 AM
-Sleep in again, feel bad for not going to church for the 20th week in a row
-Play Metroid Prime nonstop until 11:34 PM on Sunday
-Do math homework that I "forgot" to do until 12:36 at night
