Will the gap between Animaniacs and Histeria ever be crossed?
Comment Commentary
Mal- But weren't you behind me not two months ago? That sucks, Mal. Your myOtaku is one of my favorites.
Shin- Well there's no need for two wallets. Get it together, man!
Godel- A while back I was so ashamed by my old fanart that I deleted all of it. Unfortunately, their 60% ratings still count toward my fanart average, which is bad.
StarBound- Heh, thanks. I get a bit hung-up about it nowadays because I was so close to getting in the top fifty a month or two back.. And it was stolen from me. Grr.
Mimmi- It took me forever to figure out exactly what I was going to write down there. 90% of the time making that picture was dedicated to writing the Atkins thing, heh.

I dropped Black Hawk Down in favor of that aforementioned druggie diary book, Go Ask Alice, for Accelerated Reader yesterday. It's an easy read (I got to page forty-something after half an hour of reading), which sort of has me worried. The book's AR level is 5.6 and my lowest reading level was 5.7. Last year that wouldn't be much of a problem (Fahrenheit 451, my favorite novel, was 5.5), but this year my teacher seems to be a real hardass about it.
Anyway, the book itself is interesting. It's sort of fun in an eerie way to peer into this girl's private life and hear her descriptions about various highs.. I got over halfway done with it last night, and by this point I was getting extremely frustrated with the girl. On one page she's her happy, energetic self, and she uses the same adjective three times (It's oh so very very very annoying) and talking about how she's never going to touch drugs again, and on the next one she goes on and on about how she's nonconformist and does drugs and how they're so awesome. I suppose that could be considered the truth behind addiction, but things ran dry for a bit.
I'm pretty close to finishing it now. I know that in the end she stops writing in her diary, and three weeks later she's found dead in her room.. It's too bad that she didn't really make me pity her most of the time. But that's sort of the curse of publishing someone else's journal, I guess. You can't edit anything to make it more appealing.

I picked up Invader Zim Volume 2: Progressive Stupidity in Walmart for $15 after school today. Because of homework and everything, my parents said that we couldn't watch it until all homework was completed.. And that wasn't too big of a problem for me. I just had to read a short story, do some half-assed critical thinking and rattle off answers to twenty-three math problems. My brother, however, was having a hard time with his math homework, along with a big spelling packet and a one-page essay on Neil Armstrong. I convinced him to take a break, though, and we watched the episodes with the baby-looking aliens and Bloaty's Pizza Hog. Gold. Pure gold. As awesome as the first volume was, Progressive Stupidity has so many of my favorite episodes. Oh, I hope it has Iggins. Iggins rocks.
What I'm really looking forward to with the Zim DVDs, though, are the unfinished, never-before-aired episodes. They're supposedly putting the audio tracks to animatics (moving storyboards) on one of the discs. It'll probably be the one that comes with the actual DVD box. Does anybody know if they're still planning on making that pig-shaped holder? As cool as Zim's house is, I really want a big, staring pig to call my own.

To continue the briefly mentioned subject of my homework, I think I'll talk about how I suck at remembering things. I don't mean to say that I don't comprehend the homework, it's just that I don't remember what homework I have. Most of the time I end up rushing from class to class without writing in my student planner, which is extremely bad.
The thing is, once my mind is cleared and I'm sitting in bed without anything distracting my thoughts, I remember things I didn't when I was occupied, forcing me to finish various assignments at 11:56 PM. I really, honestly don't mean to put things like that off, as my parents suspect.. It just sort of happens, heh. At least it gives me time to rest and lay around when I get home from a long, painfully hard day of dull "advanced" classes and unchallenging, non-productive Phys Ed.
Teh SillyCircus Day 30- "Dear Diary, LSD is so much fun! I tried acid the other day and it is great great great! I think I'm going to try pot next week, and I cannot wait! But after that I'm never doing it again. ^.^"
